Just wonderful, I been tryin to find out about "is wordpress similar to squarespace?" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you heard people talk about - Fonucass Uncomplex Future - (just google it ) ? It is a great one off product for discovering how to rotate your best affilate offers minus the normal expense. Ive heard some decent things about it and my friend got cool results with it.

Hi Louise thanks much for all your superb videos... am wondering whether Squarespace could work as a combination platform for everything I want to do: as a website with many different pages, and different kinds of media embedded into it (or perhaps one’s UA-cam and soundcloud links) + as an e-commerce platform where one can sell, say one’s own music + as a blog + who knows what else. Kind of an all in one place on the web. Would it be wildly expensive. Thanks again.
Your video was a huge help! I have a question and don't know if you're still checking comments. It seems that squarespace has updated some things and not everything is exactly where it was when you made this video. Im trying so hard to have a thumbnail pop up to click on for my blog post. Ive uploaded the image but when I go to my page replaced with the photo just says "Read more" Any ideas?

I spaced my paragraphs when I type in the text box in the blog section. However, after I click done and save, all spaces between the paragraphs disappeared and it's just one whole page of blog with no separated paragraphs. How to edit this?

hi! I loved your video! Do you happen to know why my blog post thumbnail isn't coming up? Its loaded and I have two blogs up but I cant get the thumbnail under the title of my blog like how yours is to pop up
Im at the settings but I dont have an option for image like yours does
I started taging my blog posts. I was using the space bar between words and it created a whole lot of problems! I was uninformed that you have to use a hyphen between words EX: zodiac+birthstones VS zodiac-birthstones Sooo, I deleted all my tags. and consolidated my blog posts to contain 500 words instead of 100. Oh yeah I did. and now i get a 4xx code and needed to put in a 301 redirect for all 133 tags Yep! you heard me right. Well, i was unaware that each TAG was a separate PAGE all unto itself. Now my issue is, do I delete all my tags again, and put in the hyphen between TAG words? AND Do the 301 redirect AGAIN!!! This is a great way to get organic keywords to get picked up by SEO. so I need those keywords. I dont like that each tag is a separate page, with LOW word count and no meta description. Do i need to copy each tag and do the 301 redirect and or should I do a NO FOLLOW? and will that affect my organic keywords on google? Keentarot.com
How do I add a second post to my already constructed page? I had someone set me up with 5 posts grid-style, and I'd like to add a sixth. First of all, when I go to my blog page and click the + next to Top Navigation, it wants to make a whole new page. So that isn't working for me, since I have the page set up already. Thanks
Is there a way to categorize posts in the tabs at the top? Like posts about fashion under the fashion button, posts about food under the recipes button...etc. Like where at the top of this site there are the tabs BLOG, FASHION, HOME, etc.

For sure! So if you want, every time you post a blog post, you can click on the "Social" tab and share automatically to your social channels (including FB).

It's not the easiest thing! You have to manually switch the date around to create the order you want.
I use Squarespace and the Heights template. However, I want a sidebar on my blog. Can I change the template for the blog only, or will I have to change the entire site to a different template?
Hi Cindy! If you want a sidebar, you could "fake" it using regular blocks (e.g. the image, text and spacer blocks) and then just make sure to create a blog post template like in this video: ua-cam.com/video/h_smH5nTF5s/v-deo.html
Otherwise, yes, you would need to switch your entire site to a different template.

My business Squarespace site doesn't have the Marketing link. Do I have to upgrade to Commerce for that? It's literally nowhere to be found

Hey Hector! Make sure that you are looking at your blog, then at the same time, go Design > Style Editor and here you will see all settings to display a thumbnail. If it doesn't come up with a thumbnail option, it may be a template issue! Hope this helps :)
