The advantage of online learning is that it is partially asynchronous. In addition, students can repeat and review past material and they will have the opportunity to listen a second time. Teachers and students conduct learning processes regardless of geographical location, which creates flexibility on both sides
Great video! You’ve highlighted key benefits of online learning, like accessibility and flexibility, which empower students to learn at their own pace. However, challenges such as self-discipline and time management are significant. It’s essential for learners to stay engaged, especially with limited interaction. Finding a balance between synchronous and asynchronous learning can also be tough.
Great video on the benefits and challenges of online learning! I love how flexible it is; you can learn at your own pace and fit it around your life. It’s also more accessible and often cheaper than traditional classes. However, there are some downsides. It can feel isolating without in-person interaction, and you need a lot of self-discipline to stay focused. Not everyone has reliable internet, which can be a problem. Overall, it’s a great option if you’re motivated!
Online learning offers numerous benefits, including flexible access to course materials, the ability to review content at one's own pace, and the use of assistive technology for students with disabilities. The asynchronous nature of online courses allows students to revisit materials and learn at their own speed. It also provides a measure of control and motivation for learners, leading to more meaningful and deeper learning experiences. Additionally, online courses enable access to higher education for students who may face traditional barriers, such as those with learning disabilities or non-native English speakers. However, students need to take on a significant level of responsibility and face challenges in terms of discipline and time management. Overall, online learning caters to the preferences and comfort of students who are accustomed to accessing information and interacting online.
Online learning is great for saving time and repeating lessons multiple times. But without face-to-face interaction, it can be problematic for those who need real-time explanations and technical support.
Remote learning has transformed education, making it more accessible and flexible. It allows students to learn at their own pace and explore a variety of resources online, ultimately enriching their educational experience
Great video about advantages and disadvantages of online learning. I’m on the side of online learning, but anyway it was interesting to listen to the benefits of offline studying. Right on target!
We understand that everything has its advantages and disadvantages, and remote education is no exception. It offers students the flexibility to review materials multiple times at their convenience, which is especially beneficial for those facing transportation challenges. However, we must also consider potential issues with internet connectivity and other technical difficulties. Personally, I find traditional learning to be the most effective option, as I value the in-person interaction with teachers and classmates. The ability to ask questions and receive immediate feedback from instructors is extremely important to me.
For teachers or trainers that had been following traditional means of teaching for the past several years, it may be a little challenging and complicated to be familiar with online learning practices. On one side, where campus-oriented courses are limited to specific time duration and specific days in the week, online teaching opens doors for keeping courses open 24/7🕊
In my opinion, in such technology developed world online learning is great decision. One of the key benefits is accessibility, which allows students with diverse needs, including those who have learning disabilities, to find suitable resources. Also, it helps second language speakers, who may find challenging absorbing information in a non-native language. Effective teaching methods and the integration of various assessment technologies help students maintain discipline and develop strong time management skills, which are critical in an online environment. Yet, creating a supportive learning environment that fosters motivation and engagement remains a challenge. For example, it was rather difficult to organize remote learning in 2020 because of technical issues and lack of computer literacy. But since that time, we have made great strides forward.
In my opinion online learning is more interesting than study off-line. In this video we can see that people’s opinion is different. But I think online learning have many advantages. The biggest difference between online and face-to-face learning is that online students can’t study from anywhere and online learning can offer more flexibility to learners. Online learning has a number of tools such as videos, PDF’s, podcasts, and teachers can use all these tools as part of their lesson plans. There are so many advantages of online learning and I think it is very important for us
The fact that the students are supposedly invisible, makes it clear the most important difficulty of online learning. If you can track their attendance during full-time study, it becomes difficult during an online lesson, because you can't be sure if the student really has problems with the computer or the Internet access or if he is pretending. The real advantage of online learning is distance and time. They don`t need to rush to class, waiting for transport, and also calculate the time of arrival of transport or spend it collecting notebooks in the bag, etc. for the lesson. Students can return to the material that was studied during the online conference, ask a question in a conversation so that everyone understands. They can get acquainted with the materials at any time, in any place and at their own pace, without hurrying after the others. Plus, the age of technology has spawned many communities: online games, online courses, online stores, etc. If you show children that in addition to this, there is an opportunity for self-realization, in getting an education, it can attract them.
after watching this video, i realized that i support both sides, online learning and traditional but personally i guess that for me traditional learning is closer, because when a teacher right in front of me, all my attention on him/her, interaction with group mates is really significant, since you are learning communication and communicating with folks in real life is awesome, not through the phone screen and last but not least - time management. It’s easier for me to distribute my day after university, cuz daily trip to the university makes me feel importance of studying, produces discipline
I think online learning is a pretty good option for people who want to learn at their own pace. You can study wherever you want, and the greatest benefit is that you can review the materials after the lessons for yourself again. Just imagine, you forgot what you learned in your classes, but you have saved materials that you can rewatch to remember everything again. Sounds great, doesn't it? Also, if you are not able to study abroad, remote education will be your best friend. In my opinion, all you need is motivation, discipline, and a good environment with a strong internet connection.
Well, now I know the difference between synchronous and asynchronous learning.I agree that in online learning teachers are able to design various courses with kind of methodology so that teachers use teaching methods for inspiring students.I prefer online learning, because teachers or students can interact, communicate, learn/teach at their own pace,as well as review material wherever they are, or whenever they want, also teachers create tasks by using modern technologies so that students will be more interested in learning.
I agree with most of the takes on the video. In my opinion, the online education lacks one very important tool in education - communication face to face. Of course some students can study just as fine without it, but we need to remember that communication is a powerful way of receiving and using knowledge, because a student can receive feedback and fix his mistakes on the go. Also, socialization and collaborating with other students on projects can help students have team work, and form connections, which is so important in the adulthood.
It’s really important to know benefits and negative sides of online learning, because nowadays it’s becoming more likely for learners and students. But, actually for me, our traditional education remains the best, especially due to its big influence between teachers and students in the real life (I mean teacher can affect students to be more motivated and can awake their aspiration for knowledge.)
Online learning has its advantages, such as flexibility of schedule and the ability to study from anywhere with internet access. Also, materials can be reviewed several times, which helps to better assimilate complex topics. However, I believe that traditional learning is more effective. Personal presence in the classroom creates a unique learning environment, where live interaction with the teacher and classmates allows you to ask questions and receive immediate feedback. It is also easier to focus on studying in the classroom, as there are fewer distractions than when studying at home.
Online learning has many advantages, such as saving time, the ability to repeat the material at any time, and so on. But also, online learning cannot completely replace traditional learning, since many are used to communicating with the teacher directly and online learning may not be suitable for everyone
Actually, I agree with every comment. The reason: sometimes people have personal problems. In this case, the student can watch their lesson online. What I mean by this is that there is no time constraint and one can study a lesson until they understands it. With this situation, online learning is convenient for students. But there is one drawback: there is little opportunity to work with a group
Online learning is a very cool way for our world nowadays. At a time when every minute of our lives is precious, we don't want to waste time. Just imagine, you don't need to waste time on the road and also spend extra money. All you need to do is open your laptop and log into your room.
Online learning can be beneficial for many students, but I prefer traditional learning. Personal contact with the teacher, communication with classmates, school life - it's all so great. I remember when we studied online in 2020, it was boring, my eyes hurt because of spending a lot of time in front of the phone. Mostly, lessons were interrupted due to technical reasons and there was no motivation to study.
I agree with most of the takes on the video. One of the main assets of distant learning is that people can choose how much time they want to dedicate to it and when. They are also allowed to use various computer programs while doing their home tasks. The disadvantage of e-learning, in my opinion, is the absence of group communication. However, I’m sure this is also being fixed. So, if I was asked to choose the type of studying, I would probably go with the one online.
I agree with the benefits shown in the video. Online education is good and has its advantages. For example, the student can study in different locations, review materials easily and at any time, uniform is not required, etc. However, I choose the traditional education system. After going to class, there will be responsibility, the teacher will give feedback on homework. But for a good student, it doesn't matter what kind of education system he has, because he studies with discipline.
Online learning offers flexibility, allowing you to study at your own pace and from any location. With access to a wide range of resources and courses, it's easier to develop skills on your own schedule. It's a great option for those who need to balance education with work or other commitments.
I think online learning is better than face-to-face learning. Because you can revise lessons and you can make the schedule convenient. But still it depends on the person I think. For older teachers, this can be difficult, since some cannot use modern gadgets.
I think Online learning offers several benefits, such as flexibility, convenience, and the ability to learn at one's own pace. It allows students to access a wide range of resources from anywhere and often at a lower cost. However, challenges include the lack of face-to-face interaction, which can lead to feelings of isolation, and the need for self-discipline and time management skills. Additionally, technical issues and access to reliable internet can be barriers for some learners. Balancing these pros and cons is key to making the most of online education.
Remote learning offers flexibility and accessibility, allowing students to learn from anywhere and often at their own pace. It can cater to diverse learning styles and needs, providing a wide range of resources online. However, it also presents challenges, such as the need for self-discipline, potential feelings of isolation, and varying levels of access to technology. Overall, its effectiveness often depends on the individual learner and the quality of the program.
After watching the video, I realized that offline learning is still more suitable for me, there are undoubtedly many multitude formats of online learning, various methods for inspiring students which may really be interested. During distance learning, there was little feedback from students. And after we returned to our usual training format, we still had to catch up. I choose offline training to to meet the learning objectives. Veronika Ivanova ;)
Online education creates an engaging and interactive environment for all participants in classrooms and it is more beneficial for students that are not comfortable with raising hands. 🌹 Madina Asylbekova 👏
I don't know what many people think, but after watching this video, I realised that offline training is irreplaceable and very suitable for me. Despite the many formats of online learning and various methods that can inspire students, there was not enough feedback during distance learning. When we returned to our usual training format, we had to catch up, which was not easy. I prefer to study offline to achieve my educational goals. It's more revealing to me.
Remote learning has revolutionized education, offering flexibility and accessibility, but it's not a perfect solution. While it allows for personalized learning and reduces costs, the lack of social interaction and potential distractions can hinder some students.
I completely agree with many of the people in the video. Because in online learning, students do not gain deeper knowledge. Since some students cannot attend lessons due to poor internet. That is, for various reasons, students will often miss online classes. This will have a bad impact on their knowledge. Therefore, I believe that the best way to learn is offline learning at school or university.
Online learning refers to instruction that is delivered electronically through various multimedia and Internet platforms and applications. I agree that you can learn everything online And with a good technique, we can accumulate a lot of knowledge into our piggy bank.
it's great that sudents can choose the best education format for them. there are a lot of benefits for online studying, but i prefer offline face-to-face communication with teacher. generally communication is one of the main part in the human development, also important role plays a discipline which is in offline lessons. and also a flexibility of online studying is attractive. so, we have opportunity to choose our way and it's perfect
Online learning encourages more learning and exploration. And in online learning, students can save lessons related to their studies on the Zoom and WhatsApp networks, and can view them again. In offline learning, students' behavior and relationships are high. Also, in the offline teaching format, teachers can give real feedback, because students are under control during the lesson.

A short review of what I have heard in this video. The main benefit of online learning is that students can review the materials anytime anywhere. Students can go through the materials at their own pace. Flexibility is another important benefit moving to an online space. You can be whenever you want to be and study. It’s very convenient. In online learning, we can design courses with pedagogical approach and provide measure of control to students. I agree with the benefits shown in the video. Online learning motivates more to study, to search. Which will ultimately help you with assessment tools. But i prefer offline learning. In offline learning, discipline and interaction of students will always remain the main and necessary thing for me. Also a teacher will get a real feedback, as you yourself followed the students during the lesson.
Online learning has many advantages than disadvantages, but online learning cannot replace offline learning. Of course, online learning saves time and many students like online learning, but then the teacher cannot contrast the performance of all students
Of course, online learning has many advantages than disadvantages. But still, offline learning is much easier since there is feedback and the teacher can control the students.
online learning is convenient because it saves time, we do not waste time to go to an educational institution, as well as a person can be anywhere viewing this material. But there are also problems such as indiscipline, as well as difficulty in using for adults and cheating
Personally, I would choose the online learning for myself. As mentioned in the video, Online learning is an affordable way to gain knowledge, which requires organization and willpower. It is not limited to the territory - this is an undeniable advantage. Only you choose where to study. Each person has their own rhythm and speed of perception of new information. In online learning, you can always return to the study of the topic, for example, re-watch the video recording of the lesson and consolidate knowledge. But of course, there are also a lot disadvantages by using this format. But in general, I recon it gives you a big motivation to study. (Aigerim S)
Modern technologies have enabled billions of people to learn from the comfort of their homes and this has had a massive impact on education systems. Main reasons for online learning’s rise in popularity, and its benefits, are convenience, affordability, and diversity. Students can go back and revisit material that have covered at anytime, anywhere and possibly any number of times. Turning to the other side of the argument, online learning is a major problem. The reason is students can easily be lazy some time. It’s because online learning doesn’t require a fixed timetable which is compulsory in traditional classroom instruction, therefore, they can study whenever ones want. So they need to take a responsibility and face challenges in terms of discipline and time management. Personally, I believe that the benefits in terms of online learning eventually outweight any negatives.
The benefit of online learning cannot be over-emphasized. its benefits are far above its shortcomings if properly annexed into learning system. it makes online courses to be more planned and well articulated.
I agree that online learning is very flexible, but I think it’s more suitable for mature people who already have a clear understanding. For example for schoolchildren, flexible learning is good for a cheating
Аnd in truth, as there are many advantages in online learning, there are also enough disadvantages. Firstly, there are no such interactions as if the study were offline. Secondly, it is difficult to fully demonstrate your pedagogical approach. But still I tend to think that there are more advantages, and for me one of the most important advantages is that I can learn everything that my heart desires without leaving home, and no far distance))
The advantage of online learning is that it is partially asynchronous. In addition, students can repeat and review past material and they will have the opportunity to listen a second time. Teachers and students conduct learning processes regardless of geographical location, which creates flexibility on both sides

If you ask me, online learning has the possibility to open the door for learners who are challenged by traditional classroom environments.
Nice video. Helped me with my bpt1501 assignment.
Great! really nice to get so many diverse perspectives in a single video.
Very nice video 👍 I prefer offline learning
Yeah.
I should admit that there are lots of benefits of learning online. Although I think offline learning is effective.
And it’s more comfortable for me to study online.
