    Great video, am trying to learn (again..) as my grandfather was from W.Ukraine before WWII but he died when I was young so he never got the chance to teach me the language.

    Awesome video I have a child in my class who is only three and she knows very little English. This video helped me learn the right words to make her feel comfortable. Learning English is hard but I am will to help her try to become fluent. Please make another video.

    Hi there! Just wanted to say thank you so much for your VERY useful video! My daughter has a classmate who just came from the Ukraine. He does not speak any English so I sent your video to his teacher hoping it might help them communicate more easily. I really like how you kept it short and sweet and used emotion to help convey the meaning also. Great job!

    Although both Ukrainian and Russian belong to the same branch of East Slavic languages I believe that Ukrainian sound much better than Russian, more soft and beautiful.

    its very similar to polish. ive never learn ukrainian nor russian, and im able to understand everything here except be careful/oberzhno, in polish uważaj.

      In Lugansk few people speak pure Ukrainian, particularly now... Most of the people there would speak a mixture of Ukrainian and Russian called "surzhik" or just Russian.

    My grandparent are both originally from Ukraine, ive been trying to learn. my mother has taught me the formal version's of these words, these are much easier thank you for making this video.

    Thank u for this! So I decided to go Kiev soon. It`s too late to learn much anymore but at least I learned dopomozhit(help) and meni boljache(it hurts). Maybe that`s all I need.

    My mother always would say something in Ukrainian that sounded like "arousmachoo" in English when she was shooing us out of a room. Any idea what she said or the actual meaning?
