Jacquie is the best and a legend!! She is so nice and beautiful. Everyone supports her and stands behind her. She has danced all her life, unlike some girls who just come up quick and get popular for other reasons and end up winning everywhere. There are a lot of great Southern Buckskin ladies dancing and they make it look so smooth and graceful. Go Raetava and Jacquie!!!
my cousin was adopted by a buckskin lady so since i always hung out with her, i would go to pow wows wither her and watch her and her adopted mom dance and my favorite part was their fringe swaying and especially when they are all on time and their fringe is all swaying in the same direction haha

watugot1 we either pass our dances down from our Parents or a Family member. or a lot of ppl will attend powwows and will learn. I started out soon as I could. I learned as I went a long or my Mother taught me. ❤
Some pow wows are closed pow wows. But most aren't. If you see it advertised somewhere or something, it's not closed. Basically, if you know about it, it must not be a closed pow wow 😂 Remember, don't take pictures of the dancers without permission.

I am from a northern tribe but I think this is my most favourite southern dance, very dignified and strong
