Hamtramck Health Hike 2018

Here are some highlights from the 2018 Hamtramck Health Hike. This annual FREE event is a 5k walk/run with emphasis on healthy living which includes exercise, being drug and alcohol free, healthy eating. It is organized with many organizations in and around the city of Hamtramck and Highland Park.
The Hamtramck Health Hike is a community sponsored event that was started by the Piast Institute through its coalition, Hamtramck Drug Free Community Coalition (HDFCC - HamtramckDrugFree.com) along with the Hamtramck Public Schools, Hamtramck Fire and Police Departments. There have been many others that have contributed their time, resources, and materials throughout the years.
Please note: In 2018 there was a terrible thunderstorm that prevented many from attending.
