I feel very connected with this character. Out of all the characters I find relatable to myself, Jack reminds me of myself to a whole other level. Like 98% of his personality is my personality. He has helped me work through a lot of my self-hate.

This is so unfair Jack is such a great person, who wants to help everyone, but get always hurt by people he loves..
I know! Everyone is always so quick to go to him when they need help, but then when he needs help, people make him feel bad about it. Even a lot of fans of Lost give him a hard time. Jack really tries hard to be a good person and help everyone. Except for himself, he forgets to do that. Most of the time, he puts himself last. ):

I liked him a lot. I thought he was a very very good person. He had many serious issues, but ultimately he was very kind and helpful, and he gave off good energy.
Whenever I feel lost, I come here and empathise with Jack. Having similar issues with a fictional character can be terrifying...

He died content. He lived and he loved. And he found purpose and filled the gap in his life. His afterlife (the church scene) reunited him with everyone he loved. His body may have died without those he loved but his soul continued on with everyone that mattered to him.

This is a masterpiece. Lost is goat ! Jack is a hero for his sacrifices, what a journey he endured, one of my fav characters ever that will remain in my heart forever.

Yeah, he wasn't able to fix himself. That's common, you have some of the most brilliant people that are extremely capable, and they can help fix almost anyone, but they can't fix themselves at all, or don't want to try or put in any effort. Jack was a very complex character.

This is definitely the best lost edit I have ever seen ! I have just realised that you did not edit much scenes with Kate and I think it's great, because I always though that she did not deserve him, because she's never loved anyone except herself ... and when he said "You did not like the old me, Kate" It was a true... Jack was the best character of LOST and he was a loner his whole life :(

Amazing editing, Jack Shepherd is such a wonderful character from such an amazing show. It truly was a show of a lifetime. I wish I could go back to when I first ever watched LOST, experience it all for the first time again. I miss this show, I miss shows like this. I miss them all. Amazing editing. I'm re-watching LOST in 2019, and honestly I love it. I never get bored of it.

Matthew Fox's portrayal of Dr. Jack Shephard, a skilled and dedicated spinal surgeon was indeed compelling and convincing. His performance as a doctor with a strong sense of responsibility, leadership, and medical expertise contributed to the credibility and depth of the character.
He played it so well that I was convinced he was a doctor in real life🎉
First time watching LOST I disliked him... Thought he was that typical ''let me be the hero'' guy! I was 13 years old.
The next 3-4 times I figured he was alright!
Re-watching this now I think he is one of the best characters on the show!

I don't know what it is about Jack that people don't like. Its like people watched the show but didn't really understand the subtext of what Locke and him we're always arguing about. Jack's ideology is wrong, we know that for a fact; but Matthew Fox's performance so clearly telegraphs that he wants to believe what Locke is saying but can't because it goes against what he was taught. Jack acts the way he does because he feels conflicted.

Omg it's been awhile since I've seen anything related to Lost (it was one of the very first adult TV series that I saw; I never reached the end unfortunately). Your editing is incredible, I love how much you've improved! The heart and passion for the characters & song has always been there but I can't deny you're able to transmit the message in an even better, heartbreaking way.
