I’m so glad marvel took this younger approach with Spider-Man instead of bringing him as an adult. It really just shows how there are always consequences and flaws to being a hero. There are always losses. Also Tom Holland is the perfect Spider-Man, his acting skills are insane especially when he was only around 19 when he was cast. That may not seem young in the Acting world but a role in the MCU one of the biggest film franchises in the world at only 19? Some Actors still can’t get a good role after 30 years of acting.

couldn’t agree more. yeah tobey and andrew were terrific but they were also years older than tom. a few years makes a big difference. i also enjoy the younger approach as well. it shows a different side that you don’t always get to see. and like you said, being only 19 when he got cast in the MCU is pretty mind blowing. overall you pretty much phrased this all perfectly.

I cried during the ending of no way home, he truly is one of the greatest spider men he made the greatest sacrifice. He stopped a ship from falling apart, fought the vulture and almost died, fought thanos and died, came back and fought him again, almost died again fighting mysterio, he lost his uncle, he watched his aunt die, his lover said I love you knowing what was about to happen, his best friend realized the same, happy doesn't even know about him anymore. He's only what 17 and he has hell on his shoulders for years. He doesn't deserve anything that happened to him and he lost everything because of mysterio....

Spider-Man was always some kind of peacefull icon in my mind, like a savior in my nightmares when I was a child. My favourite superhero character for life. Tom holland truly adept this star of a character to a whole another level. The moment he died, my heart broke. Every single emotional scène with him, like the dying scene with Stark, really gets me. I loved Andrew as Spider-Man, but Tom is mindblowing.

No Peter is not that type of person. The thing about Peter Parker is that even though he goes through so much pain and go through difficult parts of life, he still manages to pull through and stick to his happy and joking self.
There is a reason to why Spider-Man Homecoming is still my favourite Spider-Man. Because everyone talked about how Tom's Spidey is nothing without Ironman's tech but he showed to all of us that he is something without a fancy tech suit when the building collapsed on him. That moment he was begging for help and crying is what is so special. he literally defeated Vulture without any fancy tech but his self made web fluid.
The way that even after losing everyone he loves (and then everyone else forgetting he even existed) he still is so caring like he got blipped, hit by a train, smashed through a wall, and everyone he loves killed but still is so immediately concerned with a small cut above MJ’s eyebrow.
This edit is perfect. If someone didn't know the struggles Peter went threw well they know now. This kid had such a hard life and he still manages to suck it up and be a neighborhood spider and I applaud Peter even tho fictional he feels so real and we understand him because his life kind of relates to our own. And just outstanding job by tom Holland he portrayed Peter amazingly there is no better person for the real but him. And he is my celeb crush anyway soo 🥰🥰

And this is why Tom Holland is my favorite of the Spidermen. Nails the emotional moments that are so crucial to the character of Peter Parker. The emotional scenes in the Tobey Maguire movies were kinda overkill, and the ones in the Andrew Garfield movies just weren't that believable. Plus, Tom has that added advantage of actually looking like a high school kid, which neither Tobey nor Andrew had.
I come back to this video every day and i always think the same thing. How does he still smile? He has those "normal" teenage problems, the problems of a double life, the problems of having a crush who thinks they sre just friends, he gets bullied at school, gets betrayed from a "friend, he is an overthinker, he has the hope if the world on his shoulders, he is only 15, he thinks it was his fault tony died, he has to deal with seeing tonys face everywhere....
The sad part is, he isn’t even a adult, he is just a teenager trying to figure out himself while figuring out all this superhero stuff at the same time. Everyone is so hard on him treating him like an adult while he is just a 16 year old trying to figure out this world. He goes through so much pain, not just physically but mentally and emotionally. Not to mention he just lost his mentor while trying to live up to him. Everyone expects him to live up to tony and be just like tony but he can’t. It’s not the editing that makes this sad, it’s his story.

The scene where he was trapped under the rubble really resonated with me for some reason. Just the way he cries out like a kid, (because he is one) and how he feels completely hopeless and powerless in the moment. All the shit he’s been through and he ended up getting into this situation. Idk if it’s just because Tom is a phenomenal actor, but it’s probably one of my favorite spider-man scenes of all time.

Coming back to this after a year Peter has lost everything now his only family, the woman he loved, his best friend, happy, heck even the avengers probably, the only who knows he exist Is strange. I cried during the ending of no way home, he truly is one of the greatest spider men he made the greatest sacrifice. He stopped a ship from falling apart, fought the vulture and almost died, fought thanos and died, came back and fought him again, almost died again fighting mysterio, he lost his uncle, he watched his aunt die, his lover said I love you knowing what was about to happen, his best friend realized the same, happy doesn't even know about him anymore. He's only what 17 and he has hell on his shoulders for years. He doesn't deserve anything that happened to him and he lost everything because of mysterio....
i’ve rewatched this a few times, yet this video brings tears to my eyes each time. knowing the fact that he was just 15 when he started fighting alongside the avengers, is already terrifying. he ended up alone and carrying the weight of the world on his shoulders. the amount of things he’s gone through is most definitely underrated. the dude is just a kid.

Spider-Man was always some kind of peacefull icon in my mind, like a savior in my nightmares when I was a child. My favourite superhero character for life. Tom holland truly adept this star of a character to a whole another level. The moment he died, my heart broke. Every single emotional scène with him, like the dying scene with Stark, really gets me. I loved Andrew as Spider-Man, but Tom is mindblowing.

There is a reason to why Spider-Man Homecoming is still my favourite Spider-Man. Because everyone talked about how Tom's Spidey is nothing without Ironman's tech but he showed to all of us that he is something without a fancy tech suit when the building collapsed on him. That moment he was begging for help and crying is what is so special. he literally defeated Vulture without any fancy tech but his self made web fluid.

This kid had such a hard life and he still manages to suck it up and be a neighborhood spider and I applaud Peter even tho fictional he feels so real and we understand him because his life kind of relates to our own. And this is why Tom Holland is my favorite of the Spidermen. Nails the emotional moments that are so crucial to the character of Peter Parker. The emotional scenes in the Tobey Maguire movies were kinda overkill, and the ones in the Andrew Garfield movies just weren't that believable. Plus, Tom has that added advantage of actually looking like a high school kid, which neither Tobey nor Andrew had.
The fact that his movies/character/storylines are the more comedic ones of the mcu and there was still so much material to make this masterpiece..:.

He has those "normal" teenage problems, the problems of a double life, the problems of having a crush who thinks they sre just friends, he gets bullied at school, gets betrayed from a "friend, he is an overthinker, he has the hope if the world on his shoulders, he is only 15, he thinks it was his fault tony died, he has to deal with seeing tonys face everywhere....

The scene where he was trapped under the rubble really resonated with me for some reason. Just the way he cries out like a kid, (because he is one) and how he feels completely hopeless and powerless in the moment. All the shit he’s been through and he ended up getting into this situation. Idk if it’s just because Tom is a phenomenal actor, but it’s probably one of my favorite spider-man scenes of all time.
