My current favourite forearm/grip exercise: Heavy/cheated Pinwheel Curl, alternating sides. Basically throwing the dumbbell up and trying to controll it on the way down. Sickest pump and burn in my forearms ever.
I got the idea somewhere to work up to two minutes carrying half my weight in each hand. I'm up to two 65's for 1:45. I then do two more carries with that weight, then knock some weight off and put on the fat grips for three more carries. Always going to failure on these sets (lefty always craps out first) is making my forearms look like bundles of rope. Sometimes all you need is a goal to see serious results. A weird tricep finisher that I enjoy- pumping up a tire with a manual pump, let the air out, next set! I really appreciate this channel. Have picked up some gym wisdom.
@Jim J I don’t understand why you want to graduate up to a 50 lb. Medicine Ball. Why not increase the med. ball weight to 40 lbs. ??? Even the 40 lb. med. ball is a big jump in intensity.Remember to allow your body to adapt to loads gradually. It’s a step by step process. When a lifter or bodybuilder attempts to skip steps, that’s normally when injury occurs, or progress hits a wall. I learned those training principles from a highly respected Bulgarian coach named Angel Spassov. He worked with many Olympic Medalists in weightlifting and track and field. Respect the training principles to achieve optimal results.
Exercise 3 (the tricep-pullover thingy) is actually exactly how Larry Pacifico did tricep work! He even called it the fourth powerlift back in the day. Maybe a bit overkill with the name, but it's a damn good exercise.
Gymnasts have huge arms and are shredded. They say the trick is tons of pulling (rope climbs, chin/pull ups) and straight arm isometric contractions (flared push up stance, rings).
Hey garage strength I know this has nothing to with the video but I do have a question. Im a freshman defensive lineman and I love squatting, but i seem to have a problem where I cant keep my back straight when going up weight. Any tips/suggestions
At first when you went into the cereal ad.... I'm like shit, here we go again. Now, I'm wondering why I haven't heard of this sooner - excellent stuff for on the go!!!💪
If you're natty you can't get big arms fast. The biggest problem w/ getting big arms is videos like this that promote the idea it can happen fast by training the arms. When the truth is a natty will never achieve maximum arm size w/out first getting the whole body big. The body grows from the ground up. Want big arms? Develop a 500 lb dead, 400 lb squat, pull-ups w/ 50 lbs, 300 lb bench for reps. Once this is achieved you have the base to build some arms.
@Micozane Woods I'm not talking heavy low rep power lifter type training. I'm talking heavy high rep breathing squat style. If you are natty and hitting 18" w/ golden era then you're leaving 1 to 2" on the table.

I do the miracle grow with a 20 and 30 lb med ball. All different variations and tosses. Very effective. Looking at 50lb ball next.

I love light cable overhead extensions while focusing on thoracic extension and core stability. The recruitment is real.

No matter what anybody says that Frist tricep exercise is fucking awesome man gives a tricep and tendon tearing pump
My weakest point is my grip strength and hamstrings. I use everything you put out and it’s working
Thanks for this. I always gain mass on my arms, but never definition. Will see if this helps. :)
Never been so early on any video! Let get those arms pumped up

No one loves Preacher Curls but I do. I like that straight arm strain. Helps with many other exercises
When you say 18-30x for example on the leaning clock extensions, is that total or per set? If per set, how many sets?
