Today was also my best day ever and a day I'll never forget. Meeting you Tim and having you show me the ropes, parking and detaching the trailer with your Volvo FH was amazing. When I left I know you like TONES! so gave a little blast of my truck air horns on my car hope you heard them :D. Thank you soo much for all the time, effort and energy you put into your videos. Unbelievable respect for you oh and seeing solo trucking videos come back is amazing! The good old days ---- Straps should be blue and white if possible

I’ve always fancied the idea of smoking a cigarette while pulling a load of straw on a really hot summers day & then flicking it out the window 🔥 !!! Then continue driving to destination without a care in the world 🔥.
Glad to see you back in action on the road at last Tim. Even better that you enjoyed it with the different trailer and getting your skill back on throwing straps over. Not sure about the idea of leaving straw to just blow off the trailer as you travelled home though!

Just a small reminder for loading bays and high weighbridges, beware for your catwalk as well because the trailer grabs in....
In holland we use 21W bulbs in our yellow day running lights... looks smoother🤪😉

Yes, 21w was the same as Volvo and Saab used in their cars in the 70s and 80s. They used 21w/5w bulbs (same as brake/tail bulbs) so when you switched the parking or headlights on, they would light up still, but less brightly

Hi Tim congratulations on your first official job as owner operator. You looked like you were an owner driver. Yes steering wheel does need sorted by nipper .will be on the look out in scotland when you go with nipper to inverness gods country . Ĥad a ĝreat laugh when all the money came flying out of your jacket and went under straw trailer. That a lot of fuel 250 odd pounds . Oh by the way was splitting my sides watching you trying to put straps on the straw bales but you got there in the end . The color of your staps should be blue white an black stripes to match your v8 scania lorry unit.

What makes all this good to watch? It's simple. You are doing these things for the first time , you are having a go , its daft at times but so is real life ,20-30 mins fun watching you learning and trying things ,the people around you are embracing it too ,you are laughing and others are laughing with you and that's priceless . Black with white stitching on the edges and blue trucker tim written on them or
Blue with white stitching edges and black trucker Tim written on them

Nice to see the Scania out working Tim, well done and the truck show was magic. I can see you ending up with a fleet of working trucks in the future. Wouldn't leave straw on the trailer to blow off on the road today's traffic cops will have you in and a hefty fine for unsecured load.

This is much better content than random builds and just faffing on with installing new pipes on the truck or whatever: actually out and about, doing work for your own company.
Rip out the bottom bed and have a sofa/ chill area and have the bed up top

Mate, with such a mint truck, you need to loose the shoes! First thing I did when I got an R series, shoes in the door-step, a lot easier to keep it clean inside the cab as well.

Continue with the white and blue but have it the opposite of the outside. So more blue inside with white accents would look fantastic.Also blue straps with white Trucker Tim lettering.

Have you considered nano-coating the lorry, or putting on a paint protection film to, well, protect your paint from stone paint chips, etc.? Maybe not the whole thing; that could be pretty expensive.
