WOW! Great list of cars. Enjoyed listening to all of that and the rationale behind it. Most of those look like sure things to me too. Certainly, some epic cars in there. My pick is the Aventador Roadster. With the new replacement out this could start going up.
Yes, that was a factor in including it. The new replacement is super expensive and I expect it to be less raw that the Aventador so should make them more attractive again.
Thought it looked cheap at under £100k saw that F430 for sale after popping into Autofficina. Love the interior and also the exterior and makes a difference to the Rosso
Excellent vid. A really good watch as it all unfolded. My father has an MG BGT. He will never sell it. Spends a lot of time on it and occasional money. Well worth it when it is a passion. For me, realistically, I would go for the Cerbera! 20K for a car with that presence sounds good to me. Cheers/
What a superb video, nice one Ade! Some excellent guidance, love that you talk about workable maximum mileages, what to look for, etc. I'm going to go for a Porsche soon, but can't decide between a Cayman, Boxster or (really old!) 911 Carrera 4s
You know what I will say! If you can get into a 911 4S you will be very happy. A 'proper' Porsche and you really just need to buy a car that has had the bore scoring and IMS bearing checked or recently replaced. There is a lot of info out there on these problems. Mileage comes second to that being sorted. Ade
I agree that you have the best Merc and the best BM there in the C63 and E30 M3. Great choices. They made a lot of C63 cars so wont get to the heights of the E30 M3 but a great car at not mad money. I'm in.🥳
You can quickly jump to the Price Range that interests you using the slider beneath the video of the Links in the video description area. Which cars tickle YOUR fancy!? Ade
Great stuff. Appreciated your work there. Certainly making me think where I should spending my money on a nice car for me and my partner. oooh. That Esprit is so iconic. Have to wear a tuxedo though. So cool. 🤵🏼
I think the 993 and 997 versions are real sweet spots in the history of the 911. Of course, the modern cars are incredible but can;t much them in the prettiness, lightness, engagement and nostalgia stakes.
I do like the Tommy MKkinen Evo but didn't make the list. E-type. Never fancied one and market quite heavy with them so time is not right. Healey.. Long term has some good chances.
Fair point. There is more downward movement for the huigher end experience cars and the inflated GT3 sort of cars. As mentioned, I see this as an opportunity to to get the car in the desired spec.
What warranty would you recommend? In my experience warranties on used cars are about as much use as an ashtray on a motorbike because they don't cover mechanical failures (or anything else that might go wrong, that's insurers for you!)
I've never e er bought a warranty myself. Always risk it for a biscuit. As you say, they cannot always be trusted. However, if there was a dealer car, priced similar to a private car, then I'd take the dealer car for their warranty as it will be better than nothing.
Great video, and agree with alot of the cars… what do you think of the Lotus Evora GT430? Only built in 60 examples, and is the last han build Lotus. Altso the Gt410 sport (build about 500 of them).
I'd have the Evora GT 430 over the Emira and all but the 410/430 Sport/Cup Exige. Excellent car that smashes the rarity metric and has very high desirability. Yes, a good buy. I did think about it for this list along with other limited edition Lotus cars. It will surely hold its value at the very least.
Not convinced they will go up enough after they go down more. Great cars though. Would have been in the list if expanded. Almost stuck in the old 850i.
I am an 80s car fanatic so seeing the E30 and Quattro made my day! 😎
Yeah, cracking cars. I never see them on the roads - only at car events.

Yeah. Decent spec. Autofficina would look after you too.
I use them.
The recent prices of 360s and Gallardos has surprised me. AMazing cars for the money so long as you dont buy a lemon. 😊
Yeah. I saw a lowish mieage, mint looking Gallardo spyder for £65k

MGB GT, Spitfire, MGA, all so close to my heart, would love to buy all 3!

I was loving all the cars, except the classics, which I find a bit boring but I came alive seeing the 993 Turbo.
Fair enough! I LOVE the 993 Turbo. Not sure it gets better than that as the 4.0 RS might be too much for the road and too worryingly expensive..
The car that surprised me the most was that amazing looking Alpine! 🥰 I didn't even know it existed so it made my day. Thanks.
Yeah. It has a great retro look and now looks really special. A car of substance. If one comes up at auction I'd be tempted myself.
I have been watching a few of these cars myself. Love the Clio V6 and Z3M. 🤘
Yeah. They were cool when they came out and uber cool now.

Super vid mate. I learned a lot there actually. I just need a lottery win and I will put all your plans into action. 😏
Ha , me too!

😁 Ha. yeah. My name is Monkey... Rev Monkey 😎 Licenced to Speed.
What, no Delta Integrale!!?!?? In the words of Vistor Meldrew: "I don;t believe it!" 😄
Ha. Brilliant.
Well... I thought I'd better not include my own cars as a conflict of interest 😁
Any Porsche 911 will do me! I will def get one Interesting to hear your thoughts on the 997. Nice one.
I think the 993 and 997 versions are real sweet spots in the history of the 911. Of course, the modern cars are incredible but can;t much them in the prettiness, lightness, engagement and nostalgia stakes.
I get the depreciation bit but those cars will have to shift up some to cover the maintenance and other running costs.
Possibly in some cases it will be close. Depends how long the car is kept and overall use.
Oh how I wish I could buy one. That will go up and up and up. Too special and very rare now. 🧑🏻🚀
Which one?
Missing cars? Lancer Evo, E-Type, Austin Healey 3000.
I do like the Tommy MKkinen Evo but didn't make the list.
E-type. Never fancied one and market quite heavy with them so time is not right.
Healey.. Long term has some good chances.
Still some downward movement for many luxury cars until things settle. Not sure I would put any money in any Italian supercar or top Porsche.
Fair point. There is more downward movement for the huigher end experience cars and the inflated GT3 sort of cars.
As mentioned, I see this as an opportunity to to get the car in the desired spec.
C1 or even a C2 Vette for me please! Loving that blue and white one a lot. I just need to push that button. Argh, and divorce the wife. 😂
🤣Ha, yeah. Go for it!

I thought you'd chuck in a challenge stradale or superleggera Ade!
Certainly the latter is on my radar and part of my 25 Dream Cars list. Saw one sell around £100k this month. Good buy.

@@whichbikenot sure I understand.. do you mean the 410 Exige and Evora is also a good buy?
Yes, for the mid to long term.
Looks like you can get 4 nice cars for 100k which is another way of looking at it. Diversifying my assets. 😁 😆
Yes, indeed. That will suit people looking for variety and keeping an eye on money.
Surprised the C6 Zr1 didn’t make the list
That is a special car but I much prefer the C1 and C2 in terms of looks. The C6 is not far behind and I do prefer it to the later, and latest, Vettes.
Thanks!
Wow. Thanks for that!
What did you find particularly useful?
I am thinking of doing a once a month Best Cars to Buy, which includes auction sites.
GT3 for me. Any one of them. Hehe.
Fair enough. Epic cars.
No E46 M3/E39 M5? lol. wtf
Not convinced they will go up enough after they go down more. Great cars though.

The real bargain starts at 500...
right time and little tlc condition, not 10k
Which car?
@@RevMonkey the one is in barn found, offered at scrap value to neighbors kids after 20-40 years...
@@MartinLV. Ah, how we dream of that. It would be a great day if I stumbled across a barn find. Renovating the car would be half the fun.
