- “A solar bottle light bulb, an innovation introduced. as a cheap alternative to other light sources. It is called “bottle bulb” because it is made of an empty 1.5 liter soda bottle and in it is a liquid bleach and purified water that can be used as an alternative electric-powered light bulb. However, it is only useful during daytime but its luminance was tested and shown to produce as much light as a 50W incandescent bulb.
How to make your own Solar Bottle Light Bulb?
The materials are the following: 1.5-liter soda bottle, purified water and bleach
The principle is simple and seductively clever: solar lights that store energy during the day and release light at night. These can be purchased ready-made in a variety of colors (yellow, blue and red), but it’s also easy to make your own DIY sun jar at home.
The simplest, least technical approach involves buying a conventional solar-powered yard lamp and then essentially harvesting it for key pieces to put in a jar. This is just a clever way of taking an existing solar lamp design and appropriating its essential parts to make something more attractive for display around the house, to take on camping trips or even to use as wedding or other event decor.

So you need the LIGHTS on the TOP of the Bottle, without that LIGHTS the Bottle Cann't GIVES or PRODUCED Brighter Light itself Automatically.
So, what is Value of that Bottle mixes of Bleach when It Cann't Gives or Produced the LIGHT Itself AUTOMATICALLY.
You need to put it on roof and the sunlight will give natural light inside house

@@kontkont2666 I'm not trying to be negative but i'm guessing using it in the daytime wouldn't be the most ideal use. Getting it to work at night would be best.

It means , for example:you don't have electricity, so you are going to take a small candle for one big hall , but unfortunately you have only one candle , now with this trick you can give light all over hall by refraction with big bottle

The point of this is Light Refraction. It you get a long clear plastic tube with texture, it will refract more. you could possibly insert a triangle mirror at the bottom to direct final light beam 45 degrees out into room.

The bleach is to prevent anything growing in the water. Vinegar won't have the same purifying effect. An appropriate amount of chlorine would work as well. Most people just have very easy access to bleach.

The ideas is help really poor people so they can have light in their house and not live in the darkness.
