Siege! Is a medieval-themed B&M hyper coaster, designed in the current build of the Planet Coaster Alpha! MUSIC: Beethoven Violin Concerto in D Major Op. 61 (All Three Parts)
I am currently sick at home, and I was in the mood for some RCT2 and I found your channel. I watched the full first episode of the megapark (over an hour long!) and halfway I think your dad told you to go to bed, because you had school the next day. You said you were thinking about it all day in class excited about playing again. It's from 2012 and you said you were 15, I thought it was so fun to watch and your excitement really made me feel happy. So, I looked at your channel, realizing it's an old video. I noticed the large amount of subscribers you now have. I just started watching this new video and your voice is so low! and your videos have improved so much! But your passion for those roller coasters are still there and that's awesome. You just got a new subscriber :)
+Fluxtrance I found you through your RCT2 videos, and really loved the No Limits 2 livestreams more recently. Would be cool to see another one of those coasters!
This is looking amazing already! Very impressive building, awesome nooks and crannies with lots of detail everywhere, and a great way to start a series. Thanks for the shoutout by the way, and I think you worded the exploratory approach to the game better than I did, and I definitely agree with you there. Curious to see what you'll make next!
Luke Banji I do, I feel at this stage it's more important to try to discover ways of making use of the building system flexibly - making large projects is more fit for later stages of the game when more content is added and focus can shift away from the building process to what you actually build, basically.
+Silvarret I love how you coorperate a little bit and getting ideas from each other :) Love you UA-cam Channels

Can't wait to see this talent Fluxtrance has covering every square inch in a full park. Really impressive your design and final results for just this single piece of scenery. It's a pity he won't continue that RCT map he started some weeks ago.
+Alejandro González Who says that? I intend on finishing Westwood, it's just taking the back set for a little while
8 років тому+2
+Fluxtrance Oh, fantastic to hear that. Was just a guess, just feels kinda redundant, and for sure you spend a lot of time on each one, so it was a fair assumption.
This is fucking insane! If I was solely listening to your commentary, I would have thought that your building/coaster would look slightly above average. But seeing this whole thing come together was just mindblowing. I absolutely can't believe the amount of time and effort you put into all the videos you make. Fantastic works sir!
use wooden posts and bushes to build a giant tree.. then build a treehouse into that tree.. put a rollercoaster in the treehouse... best ride idea EVER. if I see a treehouse rollercoaster I'll subscribe.
I really hope sometime in the future, it supports mods. Not like money mods or anything like that, more like user themes. As in like someone can make a whole pack with Star Wars themed coasters, walls, floors, props, etc. or other type of themes, that would be cool!
It seems you're limiting yourself based purely on deciding that what you're building is a medieval style, and not, say, a colonial Spanish theme. Particularly with the stucco walls, the cannons, and the crates of shot, going with a style more reminiscent of New Spain would work perfectly, and would give you a lot more building options.
I've noticed that most main street builds I've seen from this game remind me alot of bishops infinite. I am assuming it has to do with perhaps the shading, colors and art style. that's my guess though, I thought I was the only one who saw some sort of resemblance.
Hm... The game looks impressingly sophisticated with a lot of possibilities, but also incredibly hard to master. On a scale from 1 to Rhinstone Island my cities in C:S are somewhere around 6 or 7. So it´s possible for a lay man. But I imagine if I tried to build a coaster (with an entrance area like yours!!!) I would reach a 3... max... Would you say Planet Coaster is compatible with average players who just want to relax after work and make something nice, little, beautiful? Without requiring your level of dedication and skill?
This is so entertaining to me, man. Thank you for constantly challenging yourself and sharing it with all of us. Hope college isn't kicking your ass too much. It kicked mine.
I like the coaster editor in this better that that in Roller Coaster Tycoon World. I know it's only in Alpha stage but RCTW's coaster editor looks really rough
Your comment about getting discouraged when it all looks a mess really hits home...thanks for that awesome insight; it makes me feel good to hear other people (especially someone like you) struggles in the same way I do. Glad to see you playing Planet Coaster!
Hey, could you please do a tutorial about your road layouts in city skylines. i really want to make a cool city but i dont know how to create a good road plan
I'm sorry for this...but where can I buy/download this game? It's not on steam or I'm too stupid to type "Planet Coaster" properly...Oh well, I did it. Keep your "use Google" to yourself. I like to converse with people!
+Durri01 It'll be on steam when the full game is out, but because it's still in Alpha, you gotta get it straight from Frontier's website (currently, the only way to do that is by purchasing the early bird version of the game, which is fairly expensive). The best we to find it would actually be to just google it ;)
+Fluxtrance Cheers. I think I'll wait until the game is on steam. On the other hand, I'd really like to play the game straight away. Btw... sorry for the harsh tone in my first comment. It wasn't meant like that.
Fluxtrance, you should check out the Barbakan - the structure of the building could be an idea you could implement, with its fortress-like feel. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Krak%C3%B3w_Barbican
That rotation bug is always happening on the Stationbuilding on my side... is that on your side too or is it on other buildings too? Looking amazing btw!
This is very good, Flux. I haven't seen too much of your stuff so far, only heard about you from my subs...I really enjoyed the commentary, it was very informative and kept me interested throughout the video. I've just purchased this myself and although this is an older alpha, I learned quite a bit from listening to you. I guess I should just take a deep breath and fire it up. ;-}
Holy shit this is sick man :o. And now i am thinking why did i ever...... buy Rollercoaster Tycoon World. I cant even play RTW for more then 3 hours before a memory leak happens. and then you hear later on that its not even the original creators making RTW but instead making Planet Coaster O_o.
It's pretty amazing to see what someone can do already with this game, and fairly easily too, it's definitely up and coming and it's shaping up very nicely. I liked the layout of this video with the time-lapse and voice over combo, I think you should definitely do that more.
You keep going on about how "not really medieval" the building looks, and you're generally correct, but castles were being built in some form into the 1700s (though increasingly palatial). This could quite easily be something Early Modern (1500/1600s, roughly), and would lend credence to some of the crowns and the great number of windows and arches in parts of the build (windows were often arched, but very small, in medieval and even some renaissance buildings, especially if defense was intended).
Me watching this makes me feel dumb for buying RCTW, because I'm too damn focus on RCT. But cool creation, Flux. And I hope this keeps on going because I'm hyped to creations like this
You did great, man! Really love your work, very creative. I can't wait to get this game now. I was looking for Roller Coaster Tycoon World videos after remembering that it finally came out but then found out about Planet Coaster, and your video was the first I watched. :)
I had to pause the video briefly to tell you that I'm jealous & your build is awesome!!! I love these type of theme park games & I pre-ordered this one as soon as I heard about it, but unfortunately I couldn't afford the bonus Alpha version access with it. Instead I'm watching videos like yours to live the Alpha experience vicariously till I'm finally able to play the official version. I only hope I can do what you're doing here with my park when it releases, so I can build the true theme park of my dreams too. I really hope it's a free build format like this seems to be, rather than like Roller Coaster Tycoon where you had to earn & worry about money to be free & unleash your ultimate creativity. Which I could never do to the scale I needed or wanted on RCT. Have you used the feature of the Alpha purchase where you can talk to the creators? That was one of the top 3 reasons I really wished I could get the Alpha now too. I would absolutely love to be able to talk with the creators during the final game development stages. Who knows, with my real world knowledge I may actually have be helpful in addressing some very useful tips? Either way, thank you for posting your game play while you learn & letting those of us who have to wait for the official game release to at least enjoy building our anticipation through your videos.

+Usagi Kuma Thank You! That's definitely an old video, I'd say you're in the minority for finding my channel that way. I'm glad you like the videos :)
+Fluxtrance I found you through your RCT2 videos, and really loved the No Limits 2 livestreams more recently. Would be cool to see another one of those coasters!
+Fluxtrance dude how do you survive all that work wow I respect you
This is looking amazing already! Very impressive building, awesome nooks and crannies with lots of detail everywhere, and a great way to start a series. Thanks for the shoutout by the way, and I think you worded the exploratory approach to the game better than I did, and I definitely agree with you there. Curious to see what you'll make next!
+Silvarret Do you agree with his idea of doing smaller projects before going big when most of the key content has been released?
Luke Banji I do, I feel at this stage it's more important to try to discover ways of making use of the building system flexibly - making large projects is more fit for later stages of the game when more content is added and focus can shift away from the building process to what you actually build, basically.
+Silvarret Thanks :) and to you as well - can't wait to see you tackle more themes!
+Fluxtrance I think that this game would be perfectly for Darkrides and stuff! with the lightning and stuff!

+Fluxtrance Dude this video was awesome!
Nice ride! I would love to see the onride!
Same, hopefully he will post it soon
Flux pisses me off. He is so damn good that I just give up on my own creativity. Flux please give me a pep talk.
"As you can tell, this first episode is going to be really long"
As a log time fan, I jizzed when you said that.
I saw the time stamp and decided to earse the 3 hours of porn i had on my night schedule
Yes! Can't wait to see what Flux is going to do in Planet Coaster!
Fluxtance + Silvarret + Planet Coaster???? anyone?????
Fluxtrance and flabiliki
🙏🏽👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
The double f gang
YES YES YES!!!
Strictoaster maybe in the future
This is fucking insane!
If I was solely listening to your commentary, I would have thought that your building/coaster would look slightly above average. But seeing this whole thing come together was just mindblowing. I absolutely can't believe the amount of time and effort you put into all the videos you make. Fantastic works sir!
Can we have a ride cam of the rollercoaster? LOVE THIS CASTLE.
+Alex Dang There will definitely be a ride cam in the near future :)
I saw many videos 'bout Planet Coaster, but never such creative approach. you utilized tools to the very best. Great job, really nice!
yep watched the whole video and you didnt even ride the coaster for us SMH
+james mines I'll make a POV video when the ride is finished :)
Ok cool
This is the best castle of all castles in planetcoaster yet!
Im glad Youre a UA-camr , you bring the news about RCT like games and RCT itself vids in good quality & Some professional gamelan
This looks incredible. I look forward to seeing more vids on Planet Coaster :D
Honestly that looks like a design tool that can go way beyond coasters. It could be used to create all kinds of environment
I was wondering who was missing from the Planet Coaster videos and it was you! Very excited to see you making PC videos :D
Can't wait for the whole game to be done and see your talent come to good use! :)
Holy fuck ! this is definitly the most beautifull creation i've seen on Planet coaster !
Wow, the building in this is so amazingly in depth. I'm sold. Getting this ASAP.
You can buy the Alfa for $70
I'm only through the first 10 minutes or so.... but wow - that level of customization is nuts.
I like the classical music in the background :D
Looks like a sweet new game! Reminds me just of RCT3. Awesome castle too.
epic build again!!!! keep up the perfect work!!!
New series? don't care, already liked before i saw anything from it.
This is absolutely amazing!
I have been waiting for this for a long time!
GODtrance!!
Great designer. In the future I hope to see you designing buildings and skyscrapers in real life :P
Flux, I love your videos! You should end with riding on the roller coaster, that would be amazing!
use wooden posts and bushes to build a giant tree.. then build a treehouse into that tree.. put a rollercoaster in the treehouse... best ride idea EVER. if I see a treehouse rollercoaster I'll subscribe.
So pretty much Roller Coaster Tycoon + The Sims
It already deserves a Nobel prize
Medieval castles were very intricate and finely decorated. Unfortunately, centuries of neglect fails to reveal that fact
loved the music by the way, play some Mendelssohn next
Just...wow. So impressive, both this creation and the state of the game in general.
I love this Build!!
I really hope sometime in the future, it supports mods. Not like money mods or anything like that, more like user themes. As in like someone can make a whole pack with Star Wars themed coasters, walls, floors, props, etc. or other type of themes, that would be cool!
finally you made a video about it thank you so much.
Wow that looks amazing!
It seems you're limiting yourself based purely on deciding that what you're building is a medieval style, and not, say, a colonial Spanish theme. Particularly with the stucco walls, the cannons, and the crates of shot, going with a style more reminiscent of New Spain would work perfectly, and would give you a lot more building options.
omg... it's the best masterpiece ever!!!
I've noticed that most main street builds I've seen from this game remind me alot of bishops infinite. I am assuming it has to do with perhaps the shading, colors and art style. that's my guess though, I thought I was the only one who saw some sort of resemblance.
You're very talented, subbed ^^
awesome, can't wait for ne next episode(s)!! give it to us NAO!! (please please prettyplease)
This is an alpha! JESUS!!!
Hm... The game looks impressingly sophisticated with a lot of possibilities, but also incredibly hard to master. On a scale from 1 to Rhinstone Island my cities in C:S are somewhere around 6 or 7. More Rhinestone Island!!!!!!!!!
+PDXVoiceTeacher Next ep. will be out on Friday :)
+Fluxtrance Good man!!!
The build looks like a Colonial Spanish Fort, or Town from Pirates of the Caribbean.
that looks awesome
Tbh I was kinda getting tired of city skylines, it's amazing but I'm a bit burnt out, BUT I LOVE THIS!!!!
+Brian Lamson totally agree. love the series just want something fresh ! :)

Your the best you better than other UA-cams bro other they talk to mach but you your good
This is so entertaining to me, man. Thank you for constantly challenging yourself and sharing it with all of us. Hope college isn't kicking your ass too much. It kicked mine.
When Roller Coaster Tycoon World comes out, will you be playing it? Also, doing great with Rhinestone and Grizzly!
I like the coaster editor in this better that that in Roller Coaster Tycoon World. I know it's only in Alpha stage but RCTW's coaster editor looks really rough
Silvarret's PC stuff is incredible! That said, I'm super excited for your take on this game, Flux!
Your comment about getting discouraged when it all looks a mess really hits home...thanks for that awesome insight; it makes me feel good to hear other people (especially someone like you) struggles in the same way I do. Glad to see you playing Planet Coaster!
Fluxtrance how old are you? I got RCT3 at a school book fair when I was 6 and i'm 16 now, almost 17.
+Fluxtrance If you're not a architect or building designer in real life then I don't know what architecture means
Tais coaster is so nice
Is it bad that I kind of ship FluxToaster?
You. Are. Awesome.
Hey, could you please do a tutorial about your road layouts in city skylines. i really want to make a cool city but i dont know how to create a good road plan
How much was the footage sped up? Seems like it took a while to build :O
I was waiting for this!!! Keep up the great content and especially keep playing planet coaster!!
you are really good, I didn't know this was posible in the game, really makes me want to get it now
Fascinating build, man. Love it when people construct architecture that really inspires.
Its coaster time folks
I'm sorry for this...but where can I buy/download this game? It's not on steam or I'm too stupid to type "Planet Coaster" properly...Oh well, I did it. Keep your "use Google" to yourself. I like to converse with people!

+dafrandle Lol that program is great. Love the sarcastic tone it gives you
+Fluxtrance Cheers. I think I'll wait until the game is on steam. On the other hand, I'd really like to play the game straight away. Btw... sorry for the harsh tone in my first comment. It wasn't meant like that.
+dafrandle lol ok I have to admit that is quite nice xD
great video, nice detail work. How did you get into alpa? If you pre-order it do you get it?
You can buy the Alfa for $70
Dude how are you not a coaster theme designer for Disney?!?!
Ikr
Fluxtrance, you should check out the Barbakan - the structure of the building could be an idea you could implement, with its fortress-like feel. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Krak%C3%B3w_Barbican
Awesome Build I really Like this update for building
Damn, everyone be name dropping Silvarret lately, dude might be about to blow up in the way he deserves to. :)
+RellikInProfile yes! I've been thinking the same thing!
was this inspired by Griffin?
Wonder how much money it would take to build this irl
This looks much better than rct3 is it fun to? The caste look very nice
Rctw has weather conditions it's 25% off on steam
RHIESTONE....ISLAND....PLEASEEEEEEE!
Any fix to the "item thing" taking up the whole screen?
My boy Silvarret got a mention! That's my Netherlandian (dutch?) son!
Dutch, yes :)
That rotation bug is always happening on the Stationbuilding on my side... is that on your side too or is it on other buildings too?
Looking amazing btw!
So nerdcubed must watch these videos than
Yep. He's jealous as fuuuuuuck
great thanks to you all my creations are ugly!
This is very good, Flux. I liked the layout of this video with the time-lapse and voice over combo, I think you should definitely do that more.
I think the medieval theme you're using is really inspired by Berserk based on your description
More Rhinestone Island! please
This game looks beautiful so far! And I'm insanely impressed with your motivation and skill with the theming. Very nice :)
I really really REALLY want this game, but I don't have 30 bucks to blow and I'm not good with aesthetics
