Very smart move to install a fresh water maker for several reasons. Jugs of water are a very heavy payload never mind the taste of plastic after being stored for months. Never mind the recycling storage headache. More payload greater fuel burn. If you like your morning coffee crisp, then so much for water. We humans are 60% water and we don’t live well or long without fresh water. Swimming in salt water, fun for sure, washing in the same not fun for sure. She who must be obeyed will appreciate you being able to shower. When out to sea and anchored you’ll want to wash down the decks with fresh water. You’ve saved on (future) extra fuel burn, manual labour in storage and thousands of dollars on a brand new used fresh water system. Damn smart then again most of us geniuses are!😁🍺
Thank you for the compliment and great points! We just spent a couple weeks, mostly on the hook. We have nearly 100hrs on the water maker so far (about 650 gallons). It’s extended our outings by 5 to 6x, without hitting land. Money well spent.

Can you share the techs name, contact info? I purchased a boat with an older Sea Recovery system that does 60gph and need to get some instructions.
