Okay. So far 2 duel monster stories are being told in lore. The tale of El Shadoll (the Shadow Doll.) and the tale of the Dracofiends. I think tabs will need to be kept, in case another story comes along. This is gonna be fun. : )

I feel like these were all monsters that feel in battle and seek to regain life to fufill what they regretted while they were alive, so in the midst of death, the core offers them a second chance, but once they accept it, they become puppets, both literally and metaphorically this explains why their bodies are puppets

I thought the shaddoll core was also made of the remnants of the evils warm virus. that xyz that was formerly a gem-knight carried the evils warm virus in it to save everyone else and eventually died and re-released it or something. that's what I remember hearing from duel terminal lore anyway
Holy shit whatever universe the Shaddoll's are in is a sad one it seems. I'm not sure if the people who became Shaddolls retained their idenities or just basically died because I just played the Qliphort's story in Master Duels and did not realize they suffered such a fate, even though they were machines, they were giving hope to the Naturias and it seems those failed too. Has anything stopped the Shaddolls or are they just gonna merge with everything and take it all over? If so maybe Demise can just destroy it all and be done with it.
If the Duel Terminal taught me anything is that Shaddoll Construct is one persistent sob that keeps coming back no matter what. Like it or not they're a trooper.

hi if you would like to try arc v i very much reccomend it , in the begining theres alot of character building and a very slow start theres a guy on you tube who shortens arc v eps to 5 min to just read the text so u can get to the good part i would really like you to give it a chance i want this anime to grow for the site gogoanime.io works amazing

So shaddolls are about to get a stracture deck; there might be a possibility Yang Zing and Gem-knight also get more support because of how closely related these archetypes are (winda riding on top of pulao and gem-knight fusion correlating with shaddoll fusion)

You forgot to say that construct is based on lady of faith. She was corrupted by the souls of the evilswarms. The shaddol fusions are from the duel terminal story monsters. And they are controlled by construct.
fun fact: if you read the flavor text of the qli monsters scout and monolith they mention sophia and tierra. tierra being a infernoid card and sophia goddess of rebirth. however just like shekinaga, tierra fused with towers somehow and became goddess of destruction, while sophia is the goddess of rebirth. but nothing else points to the lore or anything else

I started playing Shaddolls AS SOON as the banlist came out forbidding Construct and I was SO pissed. Hell, I'd be happy if it got limited to one. Is that so much to ask?
I wanted to bring up a theory, I'm not sure if its right or wrong but its something I noticed and found interesting. So all of the Shaddolls are doll versions of other monsters, but you didn't mention the mister that Construct use to be. I don't know the lore on the archetype, but Construct is very similar to Beatrice, lady of eternal from the Burning Abyss archetype. They share extremely similar artwork when you look carefully. Constructs strings are much like Beatrice's rays of light, the head piece on Construct is a lot like Beatrice's vail and the dress is the same as well. Their poses are also identical, the only difference is Construct's arms are a bit more down. Their ATK and DEF are reversed like all the other El Shaddolls, and the effect is almost identical. Beatrice can send 1 thing from the deck to graveyard and Construct can send 1 Shaddoll. Tell me what you think! I really think Construct is Beatrice but if she is, I'd love to know more lore on the Burning Abyss, atleast how it works in the yugioh story line.

Lapis Lazuli was tainted by the Shaddoll Core and got corrupted, he betrayed the Gem Knights and reanimated the Gusto tribe. Also possesed Yang Zing and Ritual Beast monsters along with Constellar's armors, and stole technology from the infernoids, only to defeat the Qlis.

you got a a few thing in the duel terminal story wrong but good episode and great video all the same Sam 10/10 IGN too much water....lol any ways shaddolls are such a great archetype shaddoll Construct is my fave and the reason i built the deck , hope she gets unbanned really she is super tame compared to other boss monsters and even towers should come back at 1 he's necessary for the qli-deck to take on other boss monsters
You missed some details about El Shaddoll Construct. It is possible she was created using the body of Gem knight Lady Lapis. They look very similar to each other. Also, I do not think she is as big as you think. Rather than all those silhouettes being smaller, I think they are just far away behind her. Its the same with El Shaddoll Shekhinaga. She is just closer in perspective in comparison to the huge machine behind her.
In spanish the preposition "the" has gender depending on the sex of the object you are talking about, this forms are "el" for male and "la" for female, so the shadoll archetype has a lot of cards refered as males (at least If you read the cards' names in both languages)

these monsters aren't in the anime though I do recommend it the anime starts a bit slow but it gets really good after a bit
