Just an idea, if you re-visit this game, try playing it with no internet connection at all. Disconnect wifi and ethernet. This might shed some light on the mysterious player you encountered at the end of the video. If the game is indeed a multi-player server labeled as "Single player," having no internet connection will tell if the player is a real player on a server or just an entity coded into the game.

Its a programmed entity. I checked the files and in the “mobs” folder theres a png of the Glitch skin. So its proably not a real player.

@@leevirantaniemi I don't think that it can be considered "Intelligent" or "Self Aware AI" . This is because it doesn't actually do a lot of things, I have a survival world in Alpha 0.0.0 and I have played a lot of this game, the only thing this "Glitch" mob does is randomly teleport every 5-8 seconds, and if you are near it, it will look at you and dissapear. The signs that are placed are just randomly generated. The game takes a random location to place it, and it has 2 or 3 possible things the sign can say. The bedrock pillars and crosses work the same, A random number from 4 to 8 is generated which is how many pillars are placed, and the group of pillars takes a random location to be placed in. The crosses sometimes rarely appear in groups of 2, but most of the time they are just randomly placed. Theres nothing too intresting about 0.0.0, it may seem smart, but actually its just a fake AI that is programmed.
I have played a lot of creepy Minecraft versions, and 0.0.0 is my personal favourite. It manages to make it look like a regular Minecraft version , but also makes you feel uneasy enough. This is perfection.

This version scares me because the entity is exceptionally mysterious, we do not know much of its behaviour because most people quit after 20 minutes due to them either being too spooked by the game or getting bored

I have played 0.0.0 a lot. I have an entire survival world there. From what I have seen, the entity doesn’t do anything but look at you and then teleport. It also does not stalk you, it randomly teleports every 5-8 seconds, and theres a chance that it appears near you.
Ohhhh I am so hyped for all this stuff!!! You should absolutely cover more Minecraft ARG type stuff, this video is really good and your editing is always on point, it's a good direction :>

2:35 Bro i played this version of minecraft on TLauncher ( i was 13 year old ) it was very old version of minecraft ( snapshot ) i created a world and everything was normal i didnt see anything weird until... i got some wood and i killed 2 cow and pig but after i killed a sheep, i heard this sound it was a very bad jumpscare i was im high volume i quickly covered my ears and i tried to do ALT + F4 but it didnt work i tried to click on the exit on the top of the screen but it didnt work too so i quickly turned off my computer's volume and i opened task manager and i closed tlauncher, i was so fricking scared i deleted the version and i never opened that version again.
i say someone shoudl play the version and get to see everything and resolve the mystery. i always thought herobrine / glitch entity's actualy was players wo connect to your world without you knowing cuz they enable the option from the files and not from the minecraft gui so it says your on singleplayer but your actualy not maybe
