The title itself is not accurate Elden ring has a way higher completion % than your most of open world RPGs Whopping 40% beat Godfrey & 38% Mohg despite being late game secret boss. You are still looking at 4-5 million people that defeated Mohg which is beyond impressive
I finally bought elden ring at the beginning of this year and am at around 470 hours of game play and on my 4th play through, the current quality duel halberd build im running is trivializing the entire game hope the DLC holds up to the build
Apparently you do have to kill Radahn as well In order to access the dlc, but I'm not sure why. Maybe it has something to do with the eternal city? I'm only guessing that because you can see Mohg's area from Nokron.
The reason the achievement count is so low is because he is an optional boss and not as popular as Melania, who is another optional boss and is called the hardest boss
U dont necessarily need to kill radahn since u can just tp there if u complete varres questline but since radahn is a major skip for most quests it is recommended
I was one of those people that didn’t get past Godrick at the very beginning of the game, but with the hype of the dlc I hopped on the train and now I’m addicted to the game I am currently at the academy after outing a couple of hours in the game I can obviously tell why people love it… it’s also my first souls like game
Bruh morgott isnt even that hard, hell i beat him with holy damage only just to see if i could, and although i didnt try these stategies, feel free to use them: kill radahan with npc summons and rot breath, go to nokron, get mimic tear ashes, before every fight buff with golden vow (and blessing of the erdtree if you have it) if you want to boss melt, get lusat's staff and staff of loss, terra magica, comet azur, graven school talisman, graven mass talisman (if you have it) magic scorpion charm, and maybe ritual sword talisman, if you struggle dodging magic/holy attacks/ ash of wars, prepare with buff items against it, like boiled shrimp/crab or those spell liver things, or thops's barrier, also for comet azur build get magic tear and hidden cerulean tear along with azur helmet and you and your mimic can melt bosses, and maybe in future switch to blasphemous blade when you get it so your mimic has a way to heal too
I hate how everyone is making such a big deal out of the prey requisits. Like if you can't beat 2 main game bosses who aren't even the hardest, then don't buy the dlc. It's not the developers fault if you don't want to play the game to play the game.
If you do a quest you can skip basically the entire game and go strait to mohg idk why all these UA-camrs are acting like they played the game cuz they clearly would know about the quest if they did it’s literally the guy at the first sight of grace
I think one of the main reasons Mogh wasn’t beaten more often is because he is quite hidden and tbh if I didn’t do an all bosses first playthrough and looked up the location i would have still missed it. There were a few locations like the arena for fias champions I found a few playthroughs later on my 100% achievement NG runs even tho I spend 130h or so on my first run because I loved exploring so much. It’s easy to miss stuff especially when you don’t have as much time as I have. Now there is an incentive and many more will go there hard bosses can be easily countered by overleveling your char so I don’t see a problem there

Most certainly you do that is very reminiscent of how I play the Dark Souls DLC years ago I completed it on New Game Plus it added another edge of difficulty that I really enjoyed
Isn't Mohg a side boss that you have to go half way across the map just to even find, with nothing in the game hinting at his existence save for randomly stumbling across him? Seems like a weird boss to set as one of the necessary bosses needed to be killed in an open world game that takes hundreds of hours to play normally.
Currently playing it and not even dealing with a lot of enemies. Take this this from someone who has put 300+ hours into the base game. This DLC is big enough to be its own game
I feel like those stats aren’t correct because every time i start a new game plus it lets me reunlock All The trophies and tells me i havent got platinum yet but when i then look at my trophies on ps home page i have them all so idk
