I was only six when the Aud closed so I never was able to go, and all the footage I've seen of place was after it was closed, empty and during demolition. Now I can finally see what it was like full of people and life! Awesome video and thanks for uploading!
Gosh…the Aud. I’ll never forget that place, Lafontaine, Hawerchuck, Rob Ray, Hasek and Peca etc played in there and that place was electric when it came time to get Cup Crazy
THANK YOU for uploading this... This video brought back so many memories. The fact you brought the camera back then is pretty amazing. It was really cool to see the new logo and "Crossroads Arena" stuff too. I remember the unveiling of the Sabres logo at the Aud. Thanks for keeping the Aud alive
Great video... I was young when it was around, remember attending Blizzards games and a WWF event in 1995 (or 96?) with Sid Vicious in the house. Place had a unique smell, too bad it is gone.
I saw Wayne Gretzky score an breakaway empty netter during the '92-'93 season. Cheapest goal ever...lol p.s.......Sid Vicious was the man lol. I preferred his Psycho Sid days tho
I wasn't born when the buffalo memorial auditorium was open but i've in interested in urban exploration and these was one of the places that caught my interest i looked every on the internet to try find pictures or videos of the aud when it was open but all i found abandoned ones. This video is an amazing example for the generation of fans and brings back memories for the old generation.
I found an unused ticket to this (like you showed!) & wondered if it took place being a lock-out year. I asked around, nobody could answer. Thx for posting. Mystery solved!
This is really an awesome video, I wish they would have repurposed the aud. Instead they let it rot and still cost millions to demolish. The aud was a special place.
Fantastic video brought back so many great memories.

Steve Wood - I can still conjure up the memory of that smell sometimes
Eric Ellis - Musty smell of stale popcorn and spilled beer
