Face PC Gaming he cheated ? The gloves used today are cheating. You see more 1 handed catches in a NFL game today than in entire season . The 49ers system in the 80s wasn't to air it out. They dominated with Freddie Soloman and Dwight Clark.Who caught 60 balls a year. Most went to the rbs. Look up playoff stats rice CRUSHES in avg per game all areas. He was clutch.Moss disappears.1 td catch in 2 super bowls.Including a woefully pathetic 5 catches for 60 yards in the 18-0 season.Where was he when they needed a play ? Dolphins fan here and I even had a Randy Moss Vikings jersey. Love that guy. Absolutely incredible to watch. G.O.A.T and yes it really hurt when he came to the Patriots but still couldn't hate on him.
I hear you...I even understand, I do!!! Especially, when you realize he could have been even better, if...if he had been a purist(dedicated/worked on other aspects of the game etc.) ala Jerry Rice, Marvin Harrison, Cris Carter, not saying they were better talent wise, but if Randy had been really dialed in, it would not be a conversation as to the single-most greatest Wide-out. However, Jerry Rice, is the G•O•A•T...hands down - WORK ETHIC!!!
People always talk about how fast he was, how high he could jump and how good his hands are, but they really overlook how good his feet were. To be so big and fast he had amazing foot work. His ability to control his body and keep his feet in bounds was second to none!
And how scared he was to go up the middle and make catches in traffic which is why Rice is the greatest. Rice did it all including being an excellent upfield blocker

I went to Marshall when Randy played there.. Man among boys.. Chad would just chuck it, Randy would score.. When the Herd got in the red zone, they threw a fade pattern to Moss, I knew it. The other team knew it.. The crowd knew it, but they couldn't stop it... Moss WAS the best
Jerry rice was a legend but when someone makes an insane catch over a defender we don’t say you got Riced, we say you got MOSSED! Randy is the greatest WR to ever play the game… if randy was able to spend 90% of his career with HOF QB’s like rice did it wouldn’t even be a conversation
I always looked up 2 and adored Moss as an athlete. I was never a fan of Minnesota but always a huge fan of Randy Moss. When it comes to raw, natural God given talent,, he was in a league of his own.
Deacon Jones said the night that Randy Moss was drafted, that if he kept his nose clean he would make history at the wide receiver position!!! Randy Moss did just that!!! He is definitely an all time GREAT!!😏👍🏿
I would like to tell My buddy Randy Moss. it was a honor to play b ball against you at GE in fort lauderdale Fla. this is Paul Jones. I couldn't stay for the duration of play; I went to church you added say a prayer for me and of course i said always..
Oh my god me and my family grew up watching him as i got older kinda subliminally got caught up in life. U brought my life peace. Thanks from minnesota saint paul
Ive seen great receievers in my lifetime since 1972 and Randy Moss is the greatest receiever ive ever seen defenses feared him they doubled him tripled him and yet no one could stop him if h3 had a joe montana in a west coast offense no one could stop it wouldnt be an arguement but with what he had he made the most spectacular catches against all odds no one could cover him like no one could stop Lawrence Taylor the greatest

i was born on the White Earth reservation to the W.E. band of Ojibwe but i was adopted at 2 years old and i spent many years of my formative years in louisiana. ive always loved both the saints and the vikings even when they play eachother im just excited to watch the game no matter the outcome. but i also am a HUGE LSU fan, and i root for the golden gophers while i live in minneapolis. they have a smaller campus but i love the U of Minn. that being said Justin Jefferson... woooo.. if were talking about "one of those guys" watch my boy. no one can cover him. hes more than special. his the perfect one to continue the tradition of elite wide receivers playing for the vikings. AND hes an elite wideout from L S U. you're welcome. im an lsu alum. bless.
Hands down Randy Moss is the best that has ever played the position of wide receiver. No one was faster and had better hands . He did it without even trying .
There are only three players who I wouldn't mind meeting that play this game of football. Randy Moss, Barry Sanders, Jim Brown. In any order. In my opinion they were men of good character as well. I know there are others. Many others. But these are my three.
Randy Moss good character? This from a player who was accused of taking plays off during his career? He was a troublemaker at times and if ever had the work ethic of someone like Rice or a Lawrence Taylor he probably would have been the greatest player to ever play the game but he didn't have that work ethic. That's why Rice was still having 1,000 yard seasons in his late 30's while Moss was done at 33.
Randy Moss is the best WR to ever play in the NFL PERIOD! Jerry Rice played with better QB's and still never single handedly took over games like Randy Moss. I'm 51 years old and old enough to have watched both of their careers.
"Never single-handedly took over games like Moss" Rice's best Super Bowl 11 rec. 215 yards. 1 TD Moss's best Super Bowl 5 rec 62 yards. 1 TD. I think we're done here.
LOL it was his 10th season and he was only 30 years old. If his prime was that short that only make the arguments of Moss fans even more laughable. Rice at 34 had a far better Super Bowl than Moss in 94......10 rec. 149 yds. 3 TD's. Hell Rice at 40 had a better Super Bowl than Moss. 5 rec 77 yds. 1 TD. Sorry but your excuse dosen't fly.
Xavier Vega Geez! This is a Randy Moss video and I see you trolling everywhere on here. WTH? You go out of your way to troll people's personal opinions. It's lame SMH. I told you you're a fanboy LMAO
Moss was good for the bomb and that's all man Jerry world rice is the greatest of all time turns a 5 yard pass into a 70 yard touch down he was a ever down receiver
Big Fucking Deal. The guy holds very few NFL records, has won nothing, been traded several times, quit on the Vikings, Raiders & Patriots, and was known throughout his career as a clown who would take plays off.
If I was receiving passes from Joe cool & Steve Young for 15years, I think I would have done ok too! Randy's QBs just tossed it up in the air in his general direction and Randy would go get it. Everything being relative, I think Randy doesn't have a genuine comparison ...he is in a league of his own. No one has ever made the game seem so effortless.
Randy Moss was an assassin, definitely the greatest of all time. If Randy Moss could have stayed with one team with a quarterback has greatest Montana no one could ever even Argy who's the greatest receiver. No defense never ever really covered Randy Moss, Simply the Best. Saying that , he's lucky bow Jackson did not play wide receiver. Because Bo knows everything.
@@sactownsteelers6748 Rumor Has It he performed the surgery on himself. Without assistance or pain medicine. And jogged out of the surgery directly to the car. I could be wrong about the jogging he may have walked. But I'm pretty sure he did do the surgery by himself that part is true. He and researched it for a couple days before he did the surgery.
Greater than Jerry Rice? No. Better then every other receiver? Maybe. The last time I saw Randy Moss play in an NFL game he short armed a ball that got intercepted in the Super Bowl against the Ravens. He did things like that a lot, take plays off, not run out routes. That being said, he's still the 2nd greatest receiver of all time.
Randy is the most dominant force I've ever seen in my life in the NFL. In my time I've seen a lot of great players, but none of them, not one, came close to changing the way the game was played the way Randy did when he arrived in 1998. When you consider that for his first 9 years he had the likes of Cunningham, George, Johnson, Culpepper as his main QB's throwing the ball to him and later on Brady for a brief but spectacular time. Then consider the year(s) in which each one of those QB's had to play with Randy they also enjoyed career best passing numbers that were never duplicated once not with Randy any longer. Consider the complete overhaul of defensive schemes such as the Tampa Cover 2 that were designed, specifically, to stop Randy Moss and yet more often than not Randy beat them anyways. In short, when Randy was on the field, he scared the sh*t out of his opponents, he sold millions in tickets and merchandise, and completely dominated the league for well over 10 years. If the Pats and their egotistical coach had just accepted what Randy was saying to them in 2008 and payed him what he was worth their would not even be an argument over this subject because his numbers would have crushed all the others.
Rice did it w then with class??? Do you forget when Deion Sanders was with the 49ers how the press forgot all about Rice and the rest of the team? Rice reamed the press up one side and down the other telling the press there are other players on the team naming a few of them, without naming himself, but what he was really saying was " you all of a sudden forgot about me". After Sanders left and the press went back to Rice he was a happy camper and never sent the press to the 'other players' like he mentioned. Like someone else said in here, Rice has the stats because he played forever but he never owned the field and the opponents like Moss did.
I have to agree Randy Moss is the greatest receiver i ever seen and i seen Rice with Montana steve young and s west coast offense no one could figure out Moss made spectacular catches defensed were aftaid of him they triple covered him and couldnt stop him
The Vikings did him dirty that one season when he got hurt they traded him to the raiders & the team fell apart. And then when they couldn't control Brett Favre they fire Moss to prove a point.
Deemaree Dubois Yup you are right. Natural ability i.e mother and fathers genes(like i stated)...and the rest of your comment as i also said is training!?
98 Vikings had the NFL’s number one offense thanks to their NFL ROTY Randy Moss who had 17 touchdowns (a single season rookie record) 2007 Patriots had the NFL’s number one offense thanks to Randy Moss who in his first year as a Patriot had 23 touchdowns (a single season reception record) He had one hell of an impact on those teams
Uh no he's not. Not even close. No way, no how. The only thing that clown is in the running for is second best, but even then I can quickly think of six or seven receivers I would take over him if I were starting a football club. He's never been a good teammate, never been a winner, and was a quitter who was completely washed up by 33. All Moss has are a bunch of hollow stats, and no major records to speak of. He was nothing more than a show-boatin' front-runner.
Patriot fans got an equal to Antonio/Odell..... What the rest of the league fans don’t realize is that as a Viking… Randy Moss had gas and BLEW THE LEAGUE APART! The league won’t allow a brash elite athlete in the league again....LOVE IT, RESPECT IT.
Randy moss in my ''opinion'' is better then Jerry Rice, simply because Rice had Montana as a QB, Who did Moss have in the Viking days? ....Exactly! If Moss had Tom Brady for he's Viking days he would of had better numbers then Rice. SIMPLE!
I found out something I never knew yesterday that blew my mind...Rice used "stickum" that's cheating!!!!!! you're automatically disqualified! Randy is the best then
Having Tom Brady wouldn't have stopped Moss from being washed up after only 12 years. He NEVER would have caught Rice's number under any circumstances.
He was just one of the few wide receivers ever to have defensive coordinator's game planned to stop him because he use to destroy the other teams best db's just like when he was with the Patriots and they played the Steelers man he made Ike Taylor and Troy Polamalu look foolish
This hurts SO BAD as a Cowboy's fan. "The Playmaker" EFFED IT UP SO BAD, (Not by himself) and that's the only rational reason Jerry went with. It wasn't enough with his ego, and saying that anyone could coach us whether tryna piss J.J. off or not. We could've had a run so unfathomably that the annals wouldn't be large enough to hold the history of the Dallas Cowboys. Jerry's done a great job administratively for the NFL. But of the worst ever mistakes he could've made IN LIFE! WAS NOT TO DRAFT A HOF'er, but a great human being who didn't have the slightest trouble in his career, unless it was getting teammates to live up to there initial commitment to each other and the end goal.
@@redriderbbgun8018 research? I watched both men as there careers unfolded. 40 years ive watched. Rice was great but very different than Moss. In my opinion Moss was the most physically gifted receiver to ever play, Rice the most consistent to ever play. 1 took the top off the D and the other was death by 1000 cuts. Very different but both great!
@@bladerunner1680 You are so wrong it's beyond ridiculous. You really have no clue what you are talking about. Rice has as many off-the-top highlights as Moss --if not more. Jerry Rice was not a dink and dunk guy for fuck's sake...yeah, he was incredibly dangerous on slants, which is why he's a superior receiver to Moss, but Rice was all over the field and made tons of circus highlight reel catches. One thing you're right about: They are two very differen't types of receivers. Moss was a one-trick pony who took plays off and seldom did any blocking on the field. The other, Rice, was a complete receiver who could get open on any part of the field, who was not afraid of physicality and would block for his teammates, and he never took plays off. He was the consummate teammate. There's a reason why Jerry Rice is widely considered not only the best receiver of all-time, but the best all-around NFL player to have ever laced up on Sundays. In comparison, Moss is a total clown who quit on 3 different teams, and was completely washed up by age 33. You must be a Niner hater or a Vikings fuckboy, or both, cuz a guy who claims to have watched Rice's entire career would know that Rice is better in every single measurable way to Randy Moss. It's way beyond stupid to say Moss was better AT ANYTHING over Jerry Rice. Team's couldn't deal with Rice in the 80's & 90's, he had to be double-covered constantly, and always drew the best corners from opposing defenses. Defenses were literally game-planned around Jerry Rice --especially from 1987 to 1995. Moss did nothing that Rice hadn't already done 15-20 years before.
Xavier Vega basketball is more individually centered than football. You can dribble the ball without having a defensive line block for you. The first 6 years was Jordan a horrible player ? dera michaels Well, in their prime it would have been awesome and I believe that Deion could have locked Randy up for much of the game. This coming from one of the biggest Randy Moss fans in the world. I actually live in Huntington West Virginia home of the Marshall Thundering Herd and watched Randy play every Saturday live with Chad Pennington!! However, while Sanders would have had lots of success, at some point Dion is getting burnt just like every other HOF DB to ever cover Randy. Be it Darrell Revis, DeAngelo Hall, Dre' Bly, Champ Bailey or Ty Law, Randy Moss got at least one against all of them. What’s more, it’s not a coincidence thatRandy was on the two highest scoring teams of all time in the ‘98 Vikings and the ‘07 Patriots. IMO him and Deion Sanders were the best to ever do it from a purely athletic standpoint in their respective positions. That said, there is a video online where of a very young Randy (perhaps even his rookie year) and Chris Carter and he carved the Cowboys defense up like Thanksgiving day turkeys. This was even when Sanders was on Carter much of the time and still getting scorched. This had much to do with Randy just open opening up the field like a dominant center in basketball. I. E. Shaquille O’Neal. If you take what Bobby Bowden has to say about Randy, then you have to put even more stock in Moss over Sanders. That’s because Bobby Bowden coached both players yet said that Moss was the greatest athlete he has ever witnessed. That is with 4+ decades of coaching and having people like Charlie Ward, Peter Warrick, Anquan Bolden and yes, Deion Sanders at FSU. Coincidentally, Lou Holtz also said Randy was like best he ever seen.
dera michaels As great as prime was Randy is 6 foot four with a 40 plus inch vertical. So he's just as fast and half a foot taller before jumping. Straight cash homie.

Nobody ever made it look so effortless, like MOSS!!
People always talk about how fast he was, how high he could jump and how good his hands are, but they really overlook how good his feet were. To be so big and fast he had amazing foot work. His ability to control his body and keep his feet in bounds was second to none!
He was just an outstanding athlete in every category.
His ability to quit on his teams and come up small in big games was also...second to none.
And how scared he was to go up the middle and make catches in traffic which is why Rice is the greatest. Rice did it all including being an excellent upfield blocker

Randy Moss good character? This from a player who was accused of taking plays off during his career?
Tampa 2 was created before Moss was even drafted. If Moss was so dominant where are the great playoff performances?
What in the hell changed about the game when Randy played?
Jerry Rice... Enough Said. Oh wait... EVERYONE has said this... over, and over and over...
The man moved like a man playing against a bunch of boys

🐐🐐🐐🐐...Randy is the Goat. Julio's coming check the numbers do the math and that's with trash Matt Ryan frozen ice
the guys who played before "glue gloves" were the real deal- intuition and deception (not speed) are the best values of a wide receiver
And Rice did it with class, never moon nobody:-) :-)
Rice did it w then with class??? Do you forget when Deion Sanders was with the 49ers how the press forgot all about Rice and the rest of the team? Rice reamed the press up one side and down the other telling the press there are other players on the team naming a few of them, without naming himself, but what he was really saying was " you all of a sudden forgot about me". After Sanders left and the press went back to Rice he was a happy camper and never sent the press to the 'other players' like he mentioned. Like someone else said in here, Rice has the stats because he played forever but he never owned the field and the opponents like Moss did.
I've seen alot in my yrs. But Moss made spectacular look mundane.

Jerry Rice was not a dink and dunk guy for fuck's sake...yeah, he was incredibly dangerous on slants, which is why he's a superior receiver to Moss,
but Rice was all over the field and made tons of circus highlight reel catches.
You must be a Niner hater or a Vikings fuckboy, or both, cuz a guy who claims to have watched Rice's entire career would know that Rice is better in every single
measurable way to Randy Moss.
What if Jordan played in the NFL??...That's Randy Moss.
Except Jordan actually won championships.
Xavier Vega basketball is more individually centered than football. You can dribble the ball without having a defensive line block for you. The first 6 years was Jordan a horrible player ? Was Robert Horry better than Charles Barkley? Jordan eventually had another hall of famer teammate too. I was just comparing their athletic abilities.
Darrall Jr Williams
Jerry Rice was the Michael Jordan of pro football receivers
Rice>Moss
@@xaviervega468 Totally irrelevant statement of the day.. lol.
@@stephenbrady5220 what in THEE HELL is he saying.SMH Was Jordan terrible his 1st 6yrs?Lol. Com on man. Moss Jordan are thee goat. That's the bar. Dare u to come close
had back to back 100 catch seasons so he wasnt all long ball...BUT he was the BIGGEST GAME CHANGER OF ALL TIME, HE COULD CHANGE THE DYNAMIC OF A GAME IN A FLASH, WHO ELSE DOING THAT???
Randy moss vs Deion Sanders 1v1 who you got?
dera michaels
Well, in their prime it would have been awesome and I believe that Deion could have locked Randy up for much of the game.
Insidious Vidz Jesus Christ. If u cared about what the government is going instead of a damn football whatever. U be real smart
Moss. He has everything Deon had but was bigger
Deion would never guard him cuz he couldn’t
