The bottom line here is for all you gung ho know it alls , is calm down. This pilot is actually thinking and processing information. Not just monkey work like other channels. There is seldom the need to act fast in the cockpit. This is a good demonstration of how to do it.
This really shows how much of a life saver that autofeather is. There’s no way a pilot could manually feather it that quickly while getting the airplane stabilized and safely climbing.
Wind was “calm”. Why not do the straight in to 04 ? I know we’re just playing here, but let’s use good headwork. And I don’t care what the tower wants - you’re the emergency aircraft. Tower would have to have a pretty compelling reason for me to circle to land. (Just thinking about what we want to be teaching our students, here)
Why did you hesitate to raise the gear after the failure? You'd called positive rate when the plane had stopped climbing, then when the gear came up it started climbing again.
Cool video, Only question was why the 5 minute delay to identify, verify & feather dead engine then wait to pitch for Blue Line? I know this is a king air & it has power but "The Drill" is gear & flaps up. Raise dead engine, use rudder & pitch for blue line is sorta the first immediate things one does then identify, verify & feather. Turn off mixture & cut power to dead engine etc.

Years of experience and years of dedication!
Sir, that was a tour de force, you own that plane! Thank you so much for this video.
Great vid-could you be more particular with power settings etc next time
Very Smooth !! Thank you for the video
Yes, other viewer had good point. Engine does with gear down & Long runway just land straight ahead first action.

B200s have autofeather, so there isn't any hurry.
@@tstanley01autofeather should still be verified
@@Hgdhgfdssxvbbnjoo it was. look out the window!
