There was a paperback novel called CHARRO which was based on Charles Marquis Warren’s screenplay, and it was written by Harry Whittington (1915-1989) who was nicknamed “The King Of The Pulps.” From the early 1950s until he passed away in 1989, Whittington ginned up a trainload of paperbacks in many literary genres: crime, suspense, western, action, romance, and even some naughty novels and the requisite tie-in novels based on screenplays and television shows. They were issued under his own name and under many pseudonyms. So prolific was Harry Whittington that at one time he actually churned out six novels in one month. In the early 1980s, he contributed several adult western novels under the house name of Tabor Evans in the “Longarm” series. Harry Whittington was very busy.
They say you learn something every day x I did today x I never new elvis was in any westerns x wow x and im really enjoying this movie x will look up his other ones x
So unfortunate they never gave the man real acting roles besides singing. He would've been a great actor. Lesson learned ever since, as several known actors nowadays are also singers or rappers.
A this you people say a good western,, this is for for any thing good up until now the mane man don't do anything yet,, i give it two out of ten ,,, a Jamaica a say so
