EPCOT definitely had it's best years that first decade and a half or so it was open. I'd say the golden era of Epcot was definitely from 1986-1993. While I still love the park...they've taken away too much of the educational aspects in order to add quick thrills. And they closed an entire pavilion without even replacing it.
I didn't get the chance to experience this (my first trip to EPCOT was on 11/14/11 - I was overwhelmed even then with the best feeling. I hope it finds it's educational side again. I wish people understand everyone loves learning and being inspired.
Darth Brett personally I think the golden years are from 1983 (when horizons and OG imagination opened)-1999. I personally loved the old Test track. I think that’s actually a good ride for epcot. But the golden era ended when imagination and horizons closed in my opinion.
@@ThatDisneyBoi The problem is they didn't update the old rides after 15 years. They should have kept the original rides but with updated technology, in my opinion.
@@ThatDisneyBoi I think both first was a test right do have an educational side. The original taught you about safety though, in the current one teaches you about engineering and design and stem and all that junk

Thank you for posting this video. It brings back so many memories. Nothing beats vintage EPCOT. The 80s and early 90s were the best times in the park. You can keep Soarin', Test Track, and Mission: Space! Give me back the original Universe of Energy, Spaceship Earth, Living Seas, Imagination with The Dreamfinder, and OF COURSE, Horizons & World of Motion!
I agree with you. But soarin is good and somewhat fits the educational exploration theme of Epcot while still providing a thrill test track still focuses on transportation and the process and innovation of testing cars. The real tragedys are frozen ever after imagination rotting away and wonders of life completely unused. At least test track and soarin gave their pavilions new life. *Not touchin horizons and misson space*
everyone shoulda known the end was near when Ellen's audioanimatronic started malfunctioning, wasn't repaired and then simply disappeared from the attraction.

Andy JS yeah. I would love to see an updated Horizons return. Horizons is still kinda futuristic to be honest.

The amount of funkyness in this is addictive

How the heck does this make one of the most '80s sounding theme park songs sound like one of the most '70s theme park songs? I love it.
Because those two things aren't as distinct as people would like to think.
the early 80's was kind of just the 70's part 2
You gotta remember Epcot as a park opened in the 80s but was developed in the 70s .So the whole place kinda of has that 70s vibe to it
At least we got this as a guitar lick in the new GotG coaster. I had tears in my eyes when I heard it.
I’ve never heard this on GOTG? What part is it?
@@kg.aviation Same
@@kg.aviationIt’s right when you are going up the first hill before the launch part.
One of the best EPCOT themes ever! This piece is very underrated; hopefully it will be more appreciated as time goes forward.

World of Motion doesn't get the love it deserves :(
Can't we have them all?
Universe of energy exit theme never dies 🗣
We need another energy pavilion. Energy is very important to learn about.
I know, they could have just updated it
so vintage! love it!
Thanks for uploading.... some of the coolest music ever written...
This is my favorite song from epcot I would sing it constantly as a little kid and bring a smile to everyone's faces and drive my sister crazy.
This is awesome. Always loved the music made for the original Universe of Energy.
Many thanks for sharing this audio gem !
I wanna dance !!
Wish they would play this as one of the song tracks for Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind

I barely remember her animatronic. It's been so long.
The problem began with bringing in Ellen to this attraction. The original ride was better by far.
@@josea.ramirez975 I'm too young to have seen the original....
@@josea.ramirez975 no she kinda of saved the ride but it dated it self quite quickly cause of the pop culture
This is awesome sounding
On anniversaries they should play ride music outside the replaced attraction
If I remember correctly, they were originally going to do that on the 35th anniversary of Epcot
Wonderful! Now pleasr bring us the ORIGINAL synthesized Entry Music, which preceded the Introduction film.
This is awesome. Always loved the music for UoE.
Many thanks for sharing this audio gem !
I wanna dance !!
@dancebrittany23 That would be the Wonders of Life pavilion. That was a great pavilion, too.
Love seeing and hearing this older stuff :-)
OMFG THANK YOU!!!!!! I do miss that pavilion that had body wars and that other stuff)
I feel like I want to dress in bell-bottoms and wide-collared shirt and dance to this on the photovoltaics on the top of the building...
Such is--and will be--the future.
at least a thousand of these views have got to be me by this point
loved!!!!!! this ride
First song is a banger 🔥🔥🔥
Great song thanks for posting!
This was my fav attraction, shame it closed :(
Love this! I'm getting a little misty here : (
