Still the most experiential Disney attraction, and this after multiple visits since 1989. Horizons was, and always will be, a complete joy. Thanks for sharing this
I really miss this attraction. I love the soundtrack. It fit so perfect. I wish Disney would go back to the days of these types of ingenious & uplifting attractions.
You’re talking about the old EPCOT which was more of Walt’s vision for the park . Now we have what is Bob Igers vision of EPCOT. Obviously, Bob Iger is hardly Walt Disney.
Its also important to think about the sponsors, they were the ones who made these masterpieces a reality. EPCOT has gotta get awesome sponsors again for things like this to come back
I was never able to experience Horizons but if it was anything close to being as wonderful and uplifting as this track it is certainly something I hope Disney keeps in their minds as they design new attractions for Epcot.
I love Disney World. As an Annual Passholder there every week. But with that said I miss the 80's and 90's. There was so much excitement in the Air especially at Epcot. It was Grand nothing short of grand and enormous in size and you could not wait for them to open the next land or attraction. It needs a shot of tasteful updating well thought out updating to bring back that excitement. There is plenty of room for new countries have they consider Australia for an example. And how about the old Wonders of Life Pavilion roped off and hiding behind landscape. The building is there surely the imagineers could come up with something for that.
Ahhh.... when EPCOT was EPCOT Center, then EPCOT. I haven't been to WDW in seven years, but it looks like EPCOT has become a place for their festivals.
can we have our happy future that walt Disney dream about I hope so let's hope and pray for a safe peaceful world for the sake of our children peace is heavens dream
I've been working on 'something', still finishing of the details, but my sheet music is online for now, it includes a link to the MuseScore; ua-cam.com/video/fM4AwQRZcNM/v-deo.html

I was lucky enough to visit Epcot as a kid back in it's golden era the mid 80's. Such an amazing place!

What is this tune? Is it just an instrumental? It's gorgeous. I'd love to know if there are words.

Listen for the GE “We bring good things to life” theme throughout! (see m.ua-cam.com/video/yHsP6JEe_Lk/v-deo.html)
Does anyone know who composed this song, or where there is sheet music for it?
I think it was a Disney house composer named George Wilkins.
