- This dance floor work tutorial includes different types of rolls! I teach you how to do a shoulder roll, dead fish roll, split roll, modern back roll, somersault roll, drop roll, and a penché roll. Each of these dance tricks are really fun to do and will be great moves to add to choreography.

@@Hi-st2vk i think it will if it is your first time but its ok Just practice the step it will not pain then
I would love if you could do a video on exercises to build the muscles for jumps at home when you can't actually jump :)

This is great. My interest is more tumbling than dancing, but I've noticed that my "air sense" for tumbling definitely benefits from better "ground sense," which can be improved through rolling. Looking forward to working on these!
Pence and the dead fish is the hardest for me right now. Practice makes a great intro for me. Still haven't taken a dance quite yet but I'm hoping soon. Thanks the tips

Thanks for the video. Way back in 2002, I marched Blue Knights drum and bugle corps, and the mellophones had a sort of modified somersault roll. Was looking for a name for it to explain to someone. 😂

Hi! I have always wanted pointe shoes! For Christmas I got pointe shoes and a ballet barre but I have never took a class! I put them on and I nailed it! I am only 9 so I think my toes are just stronger. Any chance you could make a pointe shoes stretch, tips or more practices?

I have the 5:30 roll in my dance but every time I do it in the floor I get a really big bruise and scrape on my shoulder and back, I’m not sure if I’m just not doing it right ?? Can someone please tell me what I’m doing wrong 😀

I can’t even get into the triangle in the dead fish and im pushing into the floor with my palms. I just can’t sweep my feet in and lift my hips in that motion. Why? Lol
