Lancaster feels the truest of the ‘trucker’ mechs. Just the Lancaster looks, to me, like what a trucking company would make if they needed to make a mech. Durable, reliable, and above all else, simple to build and repair.
I'm playing a Lancaster in a Winter Storm campaign, and the change in mood when it got split in half by a cannon shot was palpable. Just trying to survive as we wore down its health. Was honestly pretty scary, but we managed to survive. Barely. And i got to take down a mech as a pilot!
You know the Lancaster comes with all the best space trucker radio stations by default, a complementary shotgun and a "am still truckin" complementary coffee mug.
Support is a good job, good buddy. I assure you, there will be work needed. Because at the end of the day, someone is going to need a patch job, logistic hauling, or some other helping hand. Pay may not be great, but be casual, be available, and always look for problems to solve.
Ah, the Lancaster, an integral part of one of my favorite strategies that allows you to move the whole party at comical speeds by grappling it with a ramjet-equipped Blackbeard
Run 12 spaces, chuck 2 grenades at the enemy. Next round. Chuck 2 more grenades, run back 12 spaces. Do repairs. Congrats you just role-played "Lancaster: Bomber Command".
I just love mechs like Lancaster, in all those bipedal humanoid robots, having something like him is always a big plus for me And being the only "healer" mech? Coded as a blue collar truck mech?? How NOT to love this boi?
I got interested in the Lancaster when I realized it was size 2. You can make it into the mech equivalent of Leatherface, grabbing foes, clubbing them to death and handing out the parts to his allies.
Hello, I've been into lancer recently and, I love your videos so much, montage is great and I love to listen to your videos while I worked on my Pilot and mech! Keep up the great work!
Nice stuff! I miss the in-character fluff text, but I understand not doing it. This series will still be a great reference tool as you go down the line.
Papa G's gon' git you back up in the fight, pull yer damn fool ass outta that minefield and then hand yall a hot cup of his homemade coffee afterwards with a thump on the back and a "Good job kid." once the dust settles.
You don’t think it’s fast but then you take a look at it and see it’s a race horse made of metal designed to get to the problem of a veeeeeery long ship as quickly as possible.
The Lancaster is basically a horse. Nasty kicks, it is quite fast and you can saddle it with gear or mechs. You could probably have a whole knight mech squad kitted out with Lancaster mounts... (as long as they are size 1.5 or less) iirc
I think it really depends on you playstyle but something you could do is also disclaimer I'm not that good either lol LL3 T3 Crackshot(or T3 Hacker if you want to hack focus) T1 Tactician T1 Hacker(or T3 as stated above) You can also swap hacker for brutal since it goes well with crackshot. Weapons: Cyclone Pulse Rifle Assault Rifle Systems: Eyes of Horus Hunter Lock Rapid Burst Jump Jets Either personalizations and custom paint job or smoke charges(again, depends on playstyle) This would allow you to rapidly reposition and snipe people while not lacking as much in medium range encounters. imo the pegasus' frame perk goes well with the cyclone pulse rifle. This also gives you potential to expand into tactian since you can flank and take high ground with jump jets.
Nice! Love your videos on this game. 😁 Can you Cover a Lance carrying mech, with boosters and maybe tower shield, that’s my dream for a custom mech, if they don’t got one.
Blue collars, Rejoice! The Mech made for the working man. It definitely has a cooler in the back filled with beer.

Well IPS-N is a space trucker company first and foremost.
The Lancaster is the embodiment of “it ain’t much, but it’s honest work.”
Lancaster is just "what if mech, but horse" and that galloping speed proves it.
"Look buddy, I'm an engineer. That means I solve problems."
Not problems like "what is beauty," b'cause that would fall under the purview of your conundrums of philosophy.
@@TheUncouthGentleman I solve practical problems

Clocking in for my 43-hour shift.
Now I have this image in my head of a lancaster just GALLOPING like a horse
That would be both hilarious and horrifying

Mil-spec space tow truck and repair vehicle. The ultimate handyman trucker mech. The BLUEST of blue collar mechs
I got so excited seeing this notification it pulled me from the YT Shorts trance
Agreed

4 Goblins on a Lanny the ultimate hacking team you just can't put down.

I can see a Goblin and a Lancaster being the Chaos Duo of a Lancer team. Thanks for the video.
... It is the dreaded fifth horsemen of the apocalypse- Gobocaster! >)X^D
I feel in love with ol' mech horse when I first got the core book, and it's still my favorite of the chassis. It's just such a vibe 😂

can't believe how fucking cute the trucker mech is
Ah, the Lancaster, an integral part of one of my favorite strategies that allows you to move the whole party at comical speeds by grappling it with a ramjet-equipped Blackbeard
Now that’s a good dog
Lancaster pilots smoke 24 packs a day and listen to space country music
Scaling Boston Dynamics' Big Dog and spot all the way up to Clifford.
It ain't much but it's an honest mech
10:21 Imagine slapping this on a Nelson
Comes with blue collar cocktail injector (caffeine, nicotine and taurine)
I love that you used Hardspace Shipbreaker to define the look of IPS-N. I just beat that game a few days ago and I wholeheartedly agree with you.
It fits the vibe so well. The soundtrack as well is fantastic for IPS-N background music.
YEEESSSS The first mech to need a LL2 and a CDL. I'm so happy
Run 12 spaces, chuck 2 grenades at the enemy. Next round. Chuck 2 more grenades, run back 12 spaces. Do repairs. Congrats you just role-played "Lancaster: Bomber Command".
I think if its over double the original stat it should have two green arrows, vice versa with half and red arrows
Not a bad recommendation.
For the glory of Zaktack’s algorithm!
The Lancaster: your friend in an unfriendly sea
Tech Attack? Burn stacking? I just wanna repair mechs for Horus' sake
if your opponents are incapacitated,
you don't have to repair your allies nearly as much.
A Lancaster is the physical Carnation of logistics.

I'm *SO* glad I found your series! Your content on this game is excellent! Keep it up!

You can, in fact, fit a total of 6 size 1/2 mechs on one Lancaster with the right core bonus.
This is, a very fun time. I can confirm as kobold #2
I was waiting for this one!!! I've got a Lancaster planned for the Supper NPC in an upcoming Lancer game with my friend group.
Attach Nelsons speed parts to a lancaster and you get *R O C K E T H O N S E*
Up next to Dusk Wing. DHIYED EVENT!
So it's the toyota hilux of mechs.
Yes.
Absolutely fantastic video!!!!!
Next time on Lancer.
And now, for my next trick!
I crave robots videos
I came as soon as I saw the notification, tell me what mech I want to buy funny salesman.

Great video. My only thing is, Are you not doing the in character pilot things? I liked them.
I really want to run a lancaster and just have a soundboard of SCV lines from starcraft 2 to use while playing
Does it come with the permanently on break friend on top?
Battle bus
..why am I tempted to just play the healer, while I learn the rest of the systems to get good?
Need people who are better at lancer than me to tell me some cool Cyclone Pulse Rifle builds
I think it really depends on you playstyle but something you could do is
also disclaimer I'm not that good either lol
