- So I eventually decided I would anchor my squat rack down to the floor. My buddy Tim was really the one that talked me into it, and helped me get it done. This is just a fun video of us getting it done.

I like your parenting, it helps her in the long run. I used to mumble as a kid and my parent didnt do anything. It made me mumble in my teenage years without even knowing I was.
Thank you Justin. I appreciate you checking this one out
How's the rack holding up with just the 4 3/8in anchors? I was afraid 4 anchors wouldn't be enough.
No issues whatsoever. It's herod held strong
@@BradArbic Thanks! It's amazing what a beating 3/8" anchors could take.
I did go back and drop a 2nd anchor per leg, so I have 8 3/8 anchors holding down
Do you have a post-tensioned slab? Did you know where your rebar and cables were going into this? I'm afraid to drill into my slab without having it scanned first.
No, I just drilled in. Was pretty confident there was no rebar or cables in my garage
Great video tks
Glad you enjoyed it
Four tap-cons done
It came together pretty easy. I was quite pleased.
Sweet!
Thanks!
I’m anchoring my T-3 tonight
I'm so glad I did. I thought about not doing it at first, but then thought better of it. With the right drill, bits, and anchors its a sinch. You can have it all drilled an done in like 30 min
Dude I’m having a hard time drilling my holes what drill bits are you using
We used a hammer drill, with Dewalt concrete bits. Your issue might be not using the right drill
@@BradArbic I think your right. I do have a hammer drill but I’ve been doing some research and apparently I need a rotary hammer drill. My home is built in the 90s so maybe over the years it’s become harder compared to new homes that the foundation is still “fresh”. Also I learned that certain homes have a type of foundation that your not supposed to drill into called a Post Tension Slab. I guess I got to head back to the hardware store for a new drill. Thanks for the quick response.
