Ken, I'm a 75 year old rock musician and completely share your love for the girls. They are my favorite band. I agree that the recording and video are the best yet! Phenomenal! ❤❤😊😊
IMHO, the audio mix and video editing are unparalleled and I mean, this is the best presentation of ANY rock concert video I've seen and I have many. I just wish they would release this on a 4k Blu-ray disc with lossless surround sound. I might not ever leave the theater room.
Here on Mexico they teach us English since young even public schools, maybe just in the North border and maybe just my public school, but Mexico is highly fluent in English and mostly the rock community, these girls are Mexican and like them we all love rock and player guitar hero and rock band, but you’ll be surprised how much people in any part of Mexico speak high fluent English. I said speak, my grammar is trash but who verbally speaks in full sentences? Thats some UK tea sipping shit, This is a Mexican band, in Mexico, Spanish isn’t the official language, there are over 300 languages and believe me, Mexico has a very nostalgic fan base to every culture including music, we keep alive culture, you’ll find people jamming to all type of music even Green Day and all sorts, we stay true, and these girls are a result of that, it’s thanks to people who are true to them and don’t get carried by trends, that fashions keep circling, the era of baggie pants, the era of all dressed in formal suits, the 80s fashion, each era of hairstyle combined will come again, Mexico has their music being played all over the world with peso plums and that shit but no Mexico brings back rock, and in these times where these girls are uniting old rock fans and young ones together, guitar bass and drums will never die, never, these girls are gold and they’re young, a video game is what they claim to be they’re mayor influence, rock band, that game was cool as f
8,000 Mexian Spanish speakers not only sing along with the Spanish parts, but they also learned the English words to all these songs, and, the French lyrics to Amour. And sing them all perfectly.
Sorry Ken, all I've got is WOW!!!! Never seen anything like this in my 60+ years of listening to, watching and attending Live concerts...got no words anymore. This is simply "IT". Thanks for another super reactions to the Warning...can tell you love them as much as all of us. Guess I will never understand how much time and effort and practice these ladies put into their craft to give their fans PERFECTION!! Cheers.
Dust to Dust remains my fav. Dull Knives sounds like it came straight from 1978! These kid's sound reflects virtually every era of rock! They're unrepeatable and irreplaceable!
What you're really trying to say is Ale's voice is the spice in the recipe that you just can't live without. Just like her sisters. It's a masterpiece of a recipe.
Pau doing her best Animal impression while grinning, Dany serving up Crimson Queen psycho eyes and feral grins, and Alé the Goddess of Thunder powering those bass lines into the hearts and minds of the audience; what's not to love? Killer songs, killer band, and great reaction. I loved the technical breakdowns of various elements. ❤
Rock Goddesses!! Dust to Dust was always epic. Never thought they could make it even more…epic now sounds not enough! You can’t even hear Rudy’s prerecorded sermon now, as 8,000 fans are doing! I am in tears!
And Dull Knives was the song Lzzy Hale saw them perform during the De-Tour stream that introduced her to TW and she reached out to them to tour with HS. So, you are right. It did open them up to a larger audience, but it also started a chain reaction thatis still ongoing for people all over the world discovering them. The mics (especially Pau's) are certainly better on this recording. I think they are using new (wider) gate settings for her mic without allowing bleed through on the drums. It is also easier to hear her from the audience as well.
I love how TW made a really nice bass line leading on Dust to dust as well in DK where drums and guitar are in the same notes of the bass line, kind of classical music structure. Simple notes making great and lovely rock n roll music, that's why The Warning are kicking it!!
Y así se toca para demostrar que ya estás en las grandes ligas, majestuoso performance de las Villareal y por fin le hicieron justicia a Ale en la mezcla
La madre que las parió!!! The definition of this individual cuts and the enhanced audio quality allow us to appreciate even more how increíble they and their compositions are. Their attitude in every concert can only be compared with the greatest in hard rock / metal genre 🫶🤘💪
This is amazing two of my favorite songs combined to blow my mind even more just wow what a performance. This whole show has improved on Teatro Metropolitan something I didn't think could happen. TW team make the best live videos these are so good love that Ale's bass is more prominent and sounds fantastic in these videos so far she's incredible. All 3 sisters killed it in both songs to make a huge banger love it. 🔥⚡
Their strut back to their positions at the start is so cool. Dany looks so confident. The bass is sick in this concert. D2D has an amazing bass line and the tempo is super quick through the whole song and Ale makes it look so easy. I'm with you on the DVD. Their team could put together an awesome one with concert footage and behind the scenes stuff. I would buy it. A live album would be nice as well. I appreciate the humor about the languages. My wife is Mexican and my Spanish is terrible. Occasionally while we're watching something in Spanish there will be someone speak English and I'll comment that my Spanish is improving because I understood that part perfectly. It usually gets an eyeroll.
Dust to Dust is already one of my top songs from The Warning, but then they go and make it even better once again showing they are still heading upwards with attitude, determination and passion. They continue to get better every new concert.
I think I may have enjoyed it more than you. I also would love to see Queen of the murder scene with this mix, these girls are so intelligent and creative that I want to hear the big sound while keeping that dark heavy element to it. And for any kids that want to be a singer, watch and listen to Danny, look past the lighting, stage set up, etc you're still left with amazing vocals and attitude. It's mind-blowing that they will all still get better.
Another great reaction...and I tune in for the stops/analysis, so don't apologize! Chills, thrills and pays the bills!.....Checks all the boxes, and a bunch we didn't know about. Great reaction, Ken! Thank You!
All The Warning team are really good at what they do, even their way to release everything to create expectation and emotion!!! Also I want to congratulate two key people in their team that helped make their shows go that high, one is Lalo Plaza their production manager (& sound engineer) and the other that was included for the Teatro and PepsiCenter shows that is Brian Bogovic for lights. I was watching the After Movie for these events that they called "FULL PRODUCTION" 2023 shows in Mexico City, Monterrey and Guadalajara. At that point their manager Rudy Joffroy called them clearly the most important shows in their careers at that stage. So really excited for what will keep on coming!!! I have already tickets for Guadalajara in Feb 25 for their next "FULL PRODUCTION" Tour in Mexico!!!
Thanks for another masterpiece reaction. It's always enjoyable to listen to a reactor who knows his business. It gives me a different perspective on the performances. As an aside, I have the good fortune of being able to see the warning live tonight!
For your info Ken. This was the third time The Warning performed the extended outro for D2D then right into DK. Both other times were *"X Anniversary"* shows in Guadalajara & Monterrey before Pepsi Center. I know The Warning did do a combo at one show during their Europe leg (headliner show or extended festival gig. Usually, Dany sikes the crowd up before playing DK. Never know when they they will bring this combo back.
You're right about the people in the US thinking english as "the language", I've seen a lot of reactors that couln't differentiate spanish from french, a lot of reactors thinked "Amour" bridge was spanish, as well many of them can't tell if a song is sang in spanish, italian, french, or other languages.
Spreading out the guitar(s) in the mix was one good thing they did, but they also separated the instruments better along the EQ spectrum (particularly the bass guitar and the bass drum).
You got on this one quick! Lol. It had only been out fur 20 minutes. Hey, its impirtant to remember they were not feeling well for this show. Pau especially.
It helps getting them early on Patreon so I can get the reactions ready and posted private so that I just have to click a button to public once it comes available on their channel.
Don’t think physical media will ever happen sadly. They’ve said the investment is too expensive. But yes, all the streaming services should be in a bidding war for exclusive rights to broadcast The Warning.
Great reaction video again, Ken. I keep waiting for them to drop. This is my favourite track(s) from that concert which has the best live versions of all their songs. As you say, the clarity is superb. Shame the camera man thought Dany was singing lead on DTD and missed Pau's singing at the start. Dull Knives is even better than the 2020 version from the cave (and I love that version). Perhaps Breathe will stay Patreon only as its so personal to Pau, but as there is camera phone footage online, it would be nice to have it on UA-cam as I think it's the best visual mix in the show. Pau also looks so happy when the crowd sings along and you can't help but fall in love with her. I'm 57 and The Warning are the only band I've been excited about in 30 years.
I'm pretty sure they are releasing Breathe on UA-cam as well. Doing my reaction to it today so I hope they release it. I think they know how much that performance means to all the fans.
Hello from Guadalajara Mexico! Nice reaction as usual!… I think they only turned down the volume on Rudy's part, the preacher's part... you can still hear it in the background, but very low. This concert is now the gold standard as many have already said. Long live The Warning‼️⚠️⚡️🤘🏼
Rock never sounds and looks so good, they are powerful on stage, but outside they are Queens, you look them on mtvs, they are beautiful and Ale looks like a model, a new Wonder Woman!!!
Yes and no regarding your comment (added in post) about QOTMS. Perhaps a one night special where it's a straight run through of the entire album. We do already have that with Lunario (with the chapter break songs), but they've also performed quite a few of the tracks live over that past few years. I think perhaps you're hinting at the compositions that have been on the shelf for longer (Stalker, P.S.Y.C.H.O.T.I.C.), but consider the newer material and using different tunings because they are pushing forward. I also wouldn't mind hearing "Wildfire" again as well. Again, Queen of the Murder Scene (Revisited) in Mexico City (or Monterrey) would indeed be awesome, but not necessary.
Two things. Just hope Pau would allow *Breathe* to be release. If Pau said no to *"Breathe". They just might substitute *"Black Holes"* & *"Enter Sandman"* combo (with the string assemble) they recorded at the *"X Anniversary"* show in Monterrey. Their first *"X Anniversary"* show at Guadalajara. The Warning played *"Revenant"* then went into their normal version of *"Enter Sandman".* Also. The recommended video that came up after yours was Fil of Wings of Pegasus reaction to the song *"Survive"* from their second TedX Talks appearance. That reaction video was my introduction to The Warning. Unfortunately, my lower jaw fell off & went down this rabbit hole where I can't escape. Nice to meet you down here.
Hey Ken, funny you mentioned what QOTMS would be like with their updated sound. I would LOVE to hear QOTMS with a full orchestra. A fully orchestral The End(Stars Always Seem To Fade) would be absolutely mind boggling
I´m glad they took out the backing track of the Spanish voice on Dust to Dust, I´m from Mexico City, so don´t think it´s a racist comment or something. It´s just that I felt it was distracting from the amazing guitar rifs from Danny!! I can´t wait for their concert in Auditorio Nacional in Mexico City in February, Auditorio Nacional is our most important and prestigious concert venue, Metalica has played there BTW. So if you think that the Teatro Metropolitan and Pepsi Center concerts were epic, just wait for this one. I´m sure they are gonna go all out on Auditorio Nacional!!!
And the girls all had the 'flu when they played this concert! I mean, seriously, is there a better, more committed, more professional, more just f'ing BRILLIANT live band out there?
I like Keep Me Fed, but most of the jams on XXI and QotMS are being left behind in the setlists. Thankfully we have these proshot versions from the more important milestones they've had.
Oh and Ken, TW is playing tonight in Boston, 90 minutes away (and i an not there) wtf. But how about a road trip tk Meh-i-co, see some of those big shows woth the triptych screens?
I'd be surprised if Breathe ever sees the light of day from this show as it is not a good musical performance. It is a very touching and emotional one, no doubt. Its release would be purely for a small segment of those folks already inside TW tent.
Her 10" tom has a beautiful ring to it. In regards to Pau's vox, headsets are finicky. I use a Shure SM35XLR headset, and although it's pro grade, it's obviously not as good quality output as an SM58
Exactly. English is NOT the "universal language. It is a colonially and imperialist imposed dialect. People around the world shouldnt be forced to sing in a language not their own simply to be known or be "respected"
Ken, you noticed something that i had noticed before: during DK Pau waits till the last part of the second verse to go to the snare. Before that it was all her beloved tribal floor toms. (I love love The Warning moments! ) And the little bursts of 7/8 time... And that little pause before the second "I found out Dull Knives cut better"... could do a flash burst there eh? Music is not just more notes. It is also silence between notes. Hear me BandMaid? Asterism? 😮 Hell yeah an updated QOTMS! But how to beat the Crimson Queen when the acoustic guitar chose not to be heard? (At Foro Didi) Dany just turns it into a tour de force...
We can speak english in México lol Your comment sounded very racist, however we speak two languages, I think it is a good opportunity 4 u to learn Spanish
The point wasn't that nobody speaks English in Mexico. It was that not everybody does and I thought I made it clear I was just making a joke about americans thinking English is The language. Hence the laugh and saying I was just being an idiot on purpose. Maybe not clear enough.
This was one of my first Pepsi Center reactions. They just didn't release it till now.
If I were you, I would've just gone with "Super Reactor." 😅
Ken, I'm a 75 year old rock musician and completely share your love for the girls. They are my favorite band. I agree that the recording and video are the best yet! Phenomenal! ❤❤😊😊

Wow. that was quick. Lol
I'm still mind-blown that these songs, and many others, were written when they were teenagers.
Ale's bass run throughout Dull Knifes is masterful. It's powerful .
Sorry Ken, all I've got is WOW!!!! Never seen anything like this in my 60+ years of listening to, watching and attending Live concerts...got no words anymore. This is simply "IT". For the higher tiers.

Possibly a better DI mix on Pau, as well 😏
Theri mixing art (Lalo is a really artist himself) going always better and better! Is stunning, really!
I love how TW made a really nice bass line leading on Dust to dust as well in DK where drums and guitar are in the same notes of the bass line, kind of classical music structure. Simple notes making great and lovely rock n roll music, that's why The Warning are kicking it!!
Ken, you are the fastest resctor in the west! 🤠
And Dust to Dust + Dull Knives is the best rock combo ever. ⚡🤟🏼
Y así se toca para demostrar que ya estás en las grandes ligas, majestuoso performance de las Villareal y por fin le hicieron justicia a Ale en la mezcla
I have a great hope that TW might do a tenth-anniversary special of QoTMS.
I can dream, right?
La madre que las parió!!!

The best I have ever heard them!! 🤘🤘🤘I am 74 and I don't know if I would have survived that concert! 🤩
😂🤣😁👌
That transition between songs is E P I C!!!!!! 💯🤘🤘🤘

Dust to Dust is already one of my top songs from The Warning, but then they go and make it even better once again showing they are still heading upwards with attitude, determination and passion. They continue to get better every new concert.
Going to see them in detroit on september twenty fourth. Also my seventy third birthday. I'm about to rock this birthday out. Peace ✌️
I think I may have enjoyed it more than you. Some of us do appreciate the focus on the mix. A good mix makes music come alive.
Cheers for the extra observations Ken !Never heard this ending before .
Another great reaction...and I tune in for the stops/analysis, so don't apologize! Chills, thrills and pays the bills!.....Checks all the boxes, and a bunch we didn't know about. Great reaction, Ken! Thank You!
A double shot, It feels like my birthday, again. Can't wait for the rest of them to come out, these girls can rock.

As Napolean Dynamite would say, "Lucky!!"
What a Rock Star presentation here! Love this “Dust to Dull Knives” definitely one of my favorites.
They're Wonderful and Powerful as Always. I love them forever.....Amazing Pepsi Center Show.
THEY ARE SOMETHING ELSE, no doubts.....

Good to know. Thanks.
I would pay stupid money for them to perform QOTMS in its entirety again. And I appreciate your Dany / dad joke.

They could probably perform both of these tracks in their sleep at this point. Thankfully, they still include these in their live sets.
It"a really in the melody of every song, everything else is bonus
I want a DVD of this concert and teatro Metropolitan.
I’d love to watch QOTMS with an energetic theater show around them, Broadway kind of style. Damn, that would be awesome.
Damn this dust to dust became my favorite version, and that extended outro then dull knives! Sweet!
This real music i Love it the warning
For all the young generation this is what really pure talent sounds like ⭐️ .. and no all the 💩 and fake singers that we hear on the radio ..
Rock never sounds and looks so good, they are powerful on stage, but outside they are Queens, you look them on mtvs, they are beautiful and Ale looks like a model, a new Wonder Woman!!!
they are superb ,,what else can be said...
The new staple for these songs live.
I like that you point out that riff of Dany's the skill of that gets overlooked by so many.
Yes and no regarding your comment (added in post) about QOTMS. Perhaps a one night special where it's a straight run through of the entire album. Again, Queen of the Murder Scene (Revisited) in Mexico City (or Monterrey) would indeed be awesome, but not necessary.
I just love Ale’s singing. It is really pronounced in the Wacken festival video I have. But you know that I am a hard-core Ale fan.
great reaction ...GRACIAS THE WARNING ARMY
The Warning played *"Revenant"* then went into their normal version of *"Enter Sandman".*
Also.
I am doing my Breathe reaction today from the Patreon release which will probably be available on my/their channel within the week.
Both "Black Holes" and "Breathe are released on Patreon...both coming soon.
Thank you very much for your awesome reviews
Love your reaction. The tech side is perfect.
Gotta love Ale's bass roaring at D2D extended outro 😯
Hey Ken, funny you mentioned what QOTMS would be like with their updated sound. I would LOVE to hear QOTMS with a full orchestra. A fully orchestral The End(Stars Always Seem To Fade) would be absolutely mind boggling
😮 wow!
DVD and a CD!!!
GREAT SONGS ❤🔥🤘⚡🤘
I watch your videos because you say all those technical things.
@ 11:00 yep, i notice that that Dany used to did/played (tonic solfa :doh :doh, reh, doh, tih, :lah) :) Good Ear Sir. that you'd noticed it :)
They need to release this as a live album!!!
Besides the outro crescendo,
Pau is deceptively busy during the verses and choruses in this song
Great reaction 👍
Holy crap what an amazing performance. TEXAS DATES PLEASE LADIES!!!!
Great reaction man 👍 You made my day.
Great reaction (and fast) The D2D+DK combo is a killer and DPA just chush iT .
DPA 🔥🔥🔥 TWA 🤘🤘🤘 UK ⚡⚡⚡
The remake of QTMS will happen when they are going to make a musical out of it(directed by Pau)😋
You know a band is top tier when eveeybody is doing covers of their songa, and why not?
I´m glad they took out the backing track of the Spanish voice on Dust to Dust, I´m from Mexico City, so don´t think it´s a racist comment or something. It´s just that I felt it was distracting from the amazing guitar rifs from Danny!!

No need to apologize about the mix! It is the best up to now. I wonder if Lalo was involved in that or someone else.
I like Keep Me Fed, but most of the jams on XXI and QotMS are being left behind in the setlists. Thankfully we have these proshot versions from the more important milestones they've had.
Don't apologize for anything, it's your channel! #TheWarning
Ales levels are right where Ale wants them. No other explanation is possible. 3rd party mixers don’t always get the memo 🥊🤨
Alys vocals are as rare as a sheldon hug few and fare between but are amazing when they happen😂😂
Oh and Ken, TW is playing tonight in Boston, 90 minutes away (and i an not there) wtf.
But how about a road trip tk Meh-i-co, see some of those big shows woth the triptych screens?
Not for me because I'm poor and have no passport (Yet) but, if you can do it, that'd be great for you.
I'd be surprised if Breathe ever sees the light of day from this show as it is not a good musical performance. It is a very touching and emotional one, no doubt. Its release would be purely for a small segment of those folks already inside TW tent.
It will be out within the week. I am doing my reaction to the early release today. I can't wait. (Of course mine won't post till theirs does.)
@@ige-individualgroupeffort-kenl Well, once again I am wrong, LOL. Still not a great musical performance in my book, more of a musical moment.
Her 10" tom has a beautiful ring to it. In regards to Pau's vox, headsets are finicky. I use a Shure SM35XLR headset, and although it's pro grade, it's obviously not as good quality output as an SM58
I'm a Browns fan. Deshaun Watson is garbage and your Jaguars are gonna kick our butts this Sunday. Thank God for The Warning 😂
The only thing I did not like, is the lighting at the end of Dull Knives, you can't see Pau during the drum fills.
Wow Ken you know a lot excellent reaction later dude.❤️😎🇺🇸hey you ever hear of In This Moment the song is called WHORE try them out.
(I love love The Warning moments! )
And the little bursts of 7/8 time...
And that little pause before the second "I found out Dull Knives cut better"... could do a flash burst there eh? Music is not just more notes. It is also silence between notes. Hear me BandMaid? Asterism? 😮
Hell yeah an updated QOTMS! But how to beat the Crimson Queen when the acoustic guitar chose not to be heard? (At Foro Didi) Dany just turns it into a tour de force...
I agree on the Foro Didi Crimson Queen. I love that version.

dull knives cut better, 🤔
We can speak english in México lol Your comment sounded very racist, however we speak two languages, I think it is a good opportunity 4 u to learn Spanish
In México
The point wasn't that nobody speaks English in Mexico. It was that not everybody does and I thought I made it clear I was just making a joke about americans thinking English is The language. Hence the laugh and saying I was just being an idiot on purpose. Maybe not clear enough.
I'm sorry but I can't watch you anymore. Too many stops............about the same things.
Sorry to see you go. I'm not for everybody but thanks for visiting.
Oh Now You Guys Need to Do BREATHE After This One! IS A MUST! 👌 You won't be disappointed! 👌
Already on the channel in my Warning Song Reactions Playlist
