is there any app(other than heavy ones like adobe) to make animation of Infographics (moving when i play them),because i have to use them in my youtube video. because that would be more attractive then static one's
Excellent video thank you. One question - is the .png you just created sufficient for a company's digital infographic - meaning enough resolution? Thanks.
Hey Suzanne, it depends on what the company is looking to use it for. If they're looking for an infographic to use in addition to blog content - so if they're embedding it within a blog post for example - then this will be enough. But if the infographic is going to be a large image as a stand-alone post then they might need a higher resolution. In that case you could use a tool like Canva to set up any dimensions they need and download a higher resolution PNG file. So it's best to know what size they need before you begin designing :)
PPT is almost just as easy, except for some pictures etc. to grab but those are found easily online. And: your file is offline and 100% customizable, vector objects, it can be animated if it needs to, I may say the possibilities are limited to one's own imagination.
@@chriss2595 You're absolutely right I'm a big fan of PowerPoint as well I just find it a bit time consuming as an infographic creation tool as the icons and images are limited and you have to find them all elsewhere. But definitely a good alternative!
@@Maggie-Stara Just my two cents. On the other hand, once u have the resources with a TON of icons, images, illustrations, colours, fonts etc., it's not such a big deal to make an infographic in PPT. And, there are add-ins like iSlide, one of the best recommended add-ins for getting thousands of objects at your fingertips. Or a lot of pre made Infographic templates that can be modified! One big advantage: once u get to know PPT a bit with just a little effort, one can work very fast! Besides this, millions of people have this software and/or know how to work with it. Learning a tool 1, tool 2 etc. online is also time consuming AND one have to pay to get better export options like in Piktochart, which isn't required in PPT.
Piktochart - have you tried finding the desktop tool? I'm not sure it has an associated app as it's more designed for desktop designing. It would likely be a bit too fiddly on a smaller screen
Hi Sonu, there are lots of different tools... Piktochart or Canva are great options for beginners as they're easy and cost effective. Otherwise Photoshop may also be an option if you're looking for something more advanced :)
I'm so glad you like it! It's actually done on Prezi haha - it's just a Photoshop Image I put into Prezi to do the animations adn recorded it with Quicktime :)
Ah I'm sorry unfortunately it's not a mobile app only a desktop app. Hopefully this changes in the future! If you're looking for something similar that has great mobile functionality try Desygner :)
Hi there, great question! If you're not able to find what you're looking for in the app itself. Check out pixabay.com/vectors/search/ - these are completely free images for you to use and I just had a look and they have a stomach and bones so you can download them straight from there to use in all of your creations! I hope that helps :D
Are you thinking of doing it as an animation? That's a much more complex process unfortunately, but if you're looking to just film yourself scrolling through or zooming into parts of a static infographic then you can easily do that through something like Quicktime and just film your screen.
@@Maggie-Stara Thank your for your quick reply. I did want to do some animation but I knew it would not be something I could accomplish or even learn in the short time I had. I used Piktochart to make a presentation. I did try to add a hyperlink and although I was able to do so, it did not show up in the published piece.
Thank you so much for watching and I'm so glad you've found it helpful 😊 let me know if there are any other tutorials you would like to see in the future!
Hey Romero, thanks so much! I don't mind at all. We used a free presentation software called Prezi... and then after creating the presentation, we simply recording our screen using Quicktime and turned that presentation into the video :)
As far as I know, not at this stage but if you're looking to make animated graphics it might be worth checking Visme - this is a good summary of how to use the tool to create animated infographics -> visme.co/blog/create-animated-infographic
You're absolutely right, and in working with infographics you'd likely have the client's paid subscription to work with. However, for personal portfolio samples as a freelancer I've found it to be a great way to showcase your skills for clients.
@@Maggie-Stara For me you should have mentioned "skip this step if you plan on using it publicly", otherwise very good, informative and helpful video. I think your channel has great potential and you know your stuff.
