쇼팽소나타를 진짜 이정도로 칠수 있나 싶을 정도로 잘 해석하신것 같아요 아무리봐도…실력이 진짜… 라팔 블레하츠랑은 또 다른 매력이 있어요
속도에만 너무 치우치지 않고 음 하나하나에 감정이 실려서 꽉꽉 채운 듯한 느낌이 나서 엄청 좋아요
나 피아노 연주해요 이 느낌이 아니라 이미 피아노가 자연스러운 몸의 한부분 같아요!!
쇼팽 소나타를 이렇게 그냥 숨쉬듯이 칠수가 있네요!! 계명대 학생들은 진짜 행운이네요!!

2005년 쇼팽 콩쿨에서 한국인 최초로 동생 임동혁과 같이 3위로 입상했을때 실황으로 들었던 곡이였는데 1위 라팔도 잘쳤지만, 임동민님의 깔끔하고 수수한 해석이 맘에 들었는데 지금도 여전히 좋습니다.... 연주활동 많이 하셨으면 좋겠어요!
실제로 직접 들어야 해여 ~ 소리를 감싸는 공기까지 툴리신분 .. 헠 소리가 저절로 나올겁니다~ 왜 인지 실력대비 홍보가 안되는거 같아서 안타까우신분입니다… ㅠㅠ

아는 사람은 다 안다. 임동혁보다 임동민이 월등히 뛰어나다는 것을. 형제의 사이가 극도로 나쁜 것도 어찌 보면 당연한 거임. 겉멋만 잔뜩 들어서 연주는 붕 뜬 임동혁과 치메르만도 경악할 수준의 타건을 가진 찐 음악인 임동민은 어울릴 수가 없지.

This guy didn’t win the Chopin Competition in 2005 (came in joint 3rd with his brother) only because the great Rafael Blechacz was overshadowing everyone else that year… shows how great and underrated of a pianist he is!
i can understand why he kept his eyes closed nearly the whole time - mr. cross-arms literally breathes on Lim the whole performance...i find it weird to perform while people are behind and to the left of me--or even in front of me; cocky Liszt made it customary to have the audience seated to the right of the pianist, cuz he wanted to show off his facial profile. good on Lim for having humility. now that i know about him, i'll search out recordings in which he plays a more refined instrument, like a Steinway...
고가의 표를 사야 그나마 20M거리에서 가까이 앉을 수 있는데. 불과 3M 거리도 안되는 곳에서 감상할 수 있다니.

Lim Dong soll ein "legendärer Pianist" sein? Im Ernst? Also auf Augenhöhe mit Maurizio Polini? Arturo Benedetti Michelangeli? Martha Argerich? Emil Gilles? Claudio Aarau? Beatrice Rana? Das Finale aus op. 58 ist auch nicht übermäßig schnell aber dafür umso ausdrucksloser und bestenfalls Durchschnitt. Es geht auch nicht um das "schnelle Spielen" sondern um Musik. Aber das scheinen in der heutigen Zeit immer weniger Protagonisten zu verstehen, seitdem die Podien fest in "asiatischer Hand" sind. Lang Lang oder Yuya Wang produzieren kaum falsche Töne und legen irre Tempi hin. Immerzu und stets auf Kosten der Musik aber das sportliche Moment scheint leider die heutige Zeit mehr zu beeindrucken als musikalisches Verständnis und Ausdruck. Nichts für ungut.

I don't like the playing. Way too clipped articulation. He doesn't play the theme differently as the movement progresses. Good busking though!
