Yunnan is the paradise of fruits, Sichuan is the hometown of pandas, Tibet is the backbone of the world, Xinjiang is the vast land, Mongolia is the paradise of cattle and horses, Harbin is the northeast of China with ice sculptures in winter
The most amazing thing about China is the hand-carving skills, including wood carving, bamboo carving, stone carving, bone carving... From huge carvings to tiny carvings
I like your travel experience. Beijing and Shanghai are new areas for foreigners to come to China. Now we also come to the colorful Guangzhou. As you said... these places have different rhythms Guangdong Province has the highest GDP in China, so there are many Chinese people from other provinces working in Guangzhou, so you can probably eat national delicacies in Guangdong Province Although it is not 100% performance, it really integrates the essence of Chinese food culture. Even if you are a vegetarian, it will have a great impact on your taste buds Hope you have more happy journeys😊😊😊❤
Welcome to travel to China again. You have shown your positive and friendly side in a series of Chinese videos and gained a large number of fans on Chinese video websites. China does not need tourists to beautify it, as long as they express their feelings truthfully.
The Chinatown might be kinda of Cantonese China style in old days. But China has developed into a completely different country for the last few decades. Every time I went back to visit my hometown I got amazed. And one thing you described China I feel exactly right is that China is a mixed country with diversification that would take a really long time to experience. I would say one month of traveling barely scratch the surface
From your conversation, it is clear that you both deeply enjoyed your trip to China and genuinely appreciated the experiences China offered during your travels. I look forward to seeing you again on a more in-depth journey through China.
There's so much richness in the picture, and it's a huge contrast to the quiet mountain village. We need to keep exploring. I hope to see your 3.0 China trip.
China is such an amazing country! One of the world's oldest Civilization, got so much to offer & experience! I would absolutely love to visit! Thank you so much for all your videos! ❤😊
you have been to all the tier 1 cities (Shanghai, Beijing, Shenzhen and Guangzhou), some tier 2 cites (Chongqing, Chengdu and Hangzhou) and tier 3 cities (Haikou and Guilin), next time you can visit the tier 4 or tier 5 cities (e.,g. Luoyang, Kaifeng, Zhangjiajie, Dali, Lijiang, Wuyuan, etc) or even villages.
Thank you. I try to explain to people that China is like an united Europe using same written language and political system for over two thousand years…
Sincerity and love are things that transcend language. Congratulations on gaining a lot from your trip to China. Look, no matter how the Western world blocks or smears China, China is here, and it is welcoming other friendly people in the world with a more open and inclusive attitude. I wish you all the best!
I would like to share a travel idea that can be called "ice and fire in the same country at the same time". Around January, visit both Harbin at north to experience the ice and snow, and Sanya in Hainan Province to enjoy the sunny and warm resort beach. Pls be aware that both places are incredibly expensive at the time.
You guys did a great job adapting to travel in China (not easy) and appear to have had an enjoyable time. I hope there will be improved translators and especially maps for foreigners in the future. Thanks for sharing and congrats on your successful travels!
I have enjoyed all your China videos... especially how to navigate through vegetarian dishes in smaller towns because meat is the predominant ingredient of choice in China. The food you have tried look yummy! I love your genuinely positive impressions of your time in China... your candid descriptions of how each city is different from another. Your opinion is valued. I look forward to watching your China 3.0 series - Please make it soon :)
Love this! Thank you for the lovely message, being vegetarian can be tricky but we LOVE food and Chinese food at that, so we work hard to eat and taste as much as possible! We appreciate you way more than you know! 3.0 roll on!
People complain about Hainan due to excessive tourism competition. Some travel companies attract customers at prices lower than cost, but require tourists to purchase goods in order to obtain rebates from merchants, and so on. During the peak tourist season, some hotels and airlines may temporarily raise prices
Five finger peach is root of tree, the leaf look like a open fingers hand. Cantonese use it for cooking, it give coconut fragrant and good for pancreas and lung 。
Translation usually doesn't work in China (especially in the south like Guangzhou) because even we Chinese sometimes don't know what the heck they are. Our restaurant especially down south have this tradition of naming dishes like they were a painting or poetry. eg. we normally name chicken feet phoenix claw, in Guangdong cuisisne, it's normally braised in soy saurce and is a reddish brown color. Now the peach claw thing you mention might be because they prepare it a little different like so they rename it to peach claw or whatever you saw on the menu. This is especially problematic during Chinese New Year because they would put a little spin on some regular dishes and rename them to something auspicious. A lot of time, we have to ask the server what the heck the item is. So if you are using translation software, literally ask the guy what kind of meat or vegetable in the dish and how do they prepare them. If no one is around a better way is to image search the chinese text (not the translation).
I always suggest people to self explore in China, many people dislike China but they have never been to China before and they think they know very much about China based on the mainstream media.
Thanks heaps for the overall and follow up videos, especially with the food, explaining the differences in the texture, taste and variety. Love how you guys explained their BBQ and the minimal sugar in their food to obtain flavours.👍🏼
im so glad you two love China. It is rare for foreigners to try out China as a travel destination when the majority of western countries' governement is trying to portray hatred towards China.
Haha love to hear this, thank you for the compliment! You clearly have style yourself to notice it, not many people do. There are many badly dressed westerners in China, hopefully the Chinese do not think we are all badly dressed ahaha! We both worked in the creative sector (advertising and design) so it probably shows a little!
My uni friend from Hainan first time came to inland China with her parents in September to Guilin. Her parents brought coats and wish to wear them the first time in their life. Didn't realise Guilin was also very hot in September so they didn't get chance to put their coats on
What the mainlanders complain about Hainan is that it is a little too expensive, the hotels, restaurants, shopping malls, etc. Atually It is cheaper to go abroad having a vacation in SE countries like Thailand or Malaysia than having a vacation in Hainan, that is the main reason, nothing else.
I recommend coming to China around Christmas. Many shopping malls, restaurants, shops, hotels, and pedestrian streets have made beautiful Christmas decorations
I can really feel that you come to China this time, more relaxed, and the city you go to be more remote. But you can complete it successfully and congratulate you
When you talk about Hainan, you have really had negative comments before. Because Hainan is a tourist city, many foreign tourists go, so some local merchants will slaughter customers and deliberately raise the price of seafood. News reports have been exposed
The name of “five-finger-peach”-Ficus hirta comes from its morphological characteristics. Specifically, "five fingers" is because its leaves are mostly five-lobed and palm-shaped, resembling the five fingers of a human hand. "Hairy peach" is due to the fact that when its fruits are ripe, they look like hairy peaches with a layer of fluff on the surface. In addition, since it exudes white latex when broken, it is also called "Five-finger Milk" in some areas.
Scenic recommendations (Urumqi, Ili, Sayram Lake, and the exotic Kashgar region in Xinjiang), (Dali, Lijiang, Shangri La, Tengchong in Yunnan Province), (Jiuzhaigou Valley Scenic and Historic Interest Area, Huanglong, Yading Daocheng, Siguniang Mountain Seda Buddhist College, Lugu Lake in Sichuan Province), Xizang (Lhasa Everest Namco), Guangxi Province (Beihai), Shandong Province (Qingdao, Weihai, Yantai)
“five finger peach"(Chinese 五指毛桃) maybe is a kind of Ficus hirta Vahl, Its leaves have five branches, like five fingers, so it is called "Five Finger Peach"?. Chinese people like to use its roots to cook broth.
What's up with Hainan? It's considered as a great tourist destination with their beaches and tropical weather. Apart from being an expensive place, there's actually not much to hate about.
Museum should be the first place a person should visit. It will shorten your understanding of the city you are in and understand how it evolved. I am hooked on museums in China.
It's fair to say it takes at least a month for one to understand a bit about China. Good or bad, but definitely different from what you would imagine seeing it from outside. Wish you a happy stay there.
the only thing i was surprised by in China was how friendly everyone was even having Chinese in laws. staying at my brother in laws place and walking around his local area alone most people tried to be as helpful as possible and was glad to meet an English person
Chinese people love Hainan so much, Hainan is a tourist city for most Chinese people, especially cities like Sanya, Wanning, Haikou, Boao etc. Guangdong guys go there almost every week to enjoy the beach and sunshine, and the fantastic food such as Qingbuliang and Yeziji(coconut chicken.) Please Ignore the comments that involved 'China hate'. Go there to see the truth, hope you enjoy your trip in Sanya!
People complain a lot about Hainan because places like Sanya are too comerercialized. There's only too parts of China that are located in tropical zone and Hainan is one of them. So they don't really have competition when the winter is coming. So people do complain about the bad service they receive in Hainan but guess what happen after a few years? They go back to Hainan again... The bad reputation doesn't really affect the business so people(not just the locals, many business owners in Hainan are from Dongbei) don't care about spreading it.
Five finger peach also call hairy fig is a ingredients use in some of the soups, it has some medicinals benefits with like said high blood pressure, heart diseases etc.
Several years ago, Hainan, especially Sanya, had bad reputations of tourist traps, ridiculous sea food price in some restaurants. And because it’s the most popular vacation destination during the winter, the hotel and food could be quite expensive (compare to Thailand). I guess that’s the reason some people don’t like Hainan. Nowadays it’s much saver and more pleasant to visit Hainan as a tourist.
I think, you can sort out your materials and make several series of special topics. For example, publish a video to introduce Chinese food or hotels in China (the ones you have stayed in). This should be good too. At least I think it looks better than a travel diary.

Glad to hear your positive sentiments about China. Thanks!
Yes agree with you, I feel save in China in every corner.
Yep! Us too! Even in our last video, we went to Chinatown in London, it feels different to China in so many ways
The Chinatown might be kinda of Cantonese China style in old days. But China has developed into a completely different country for the last few decades. Every time I went back to visit my hometown I got amazed. And one thing you described China I feel exactly right is that China is a mixed country with diversification that would take a really long time to experience. Winter is coming soon in China. You can go to Harbin to see the ice festival in Harbin. Google to check which month will the ice festival commence.

The season for harbin soon .... go experience it
Pls be aware that the hotel would be exorbitant during the ice and snow festival. If your budget permit, then why not.
If they go to Harbin, they will definitely be shocked by the ice lanterns there and speechless.
Need to get to Harbin!
Very impressive that you are telling the truth, what a wonderful trip you have so so grateful ☺️ ❤❤❤❤❤❤

You should visit Harbin during winter. It's quite a treat. Hopefully, you can visit Kashgar, Lhasa, Ili, Holhot, Mohe, Yanji, Dalian, Qingdao, etc.

China ist futuristisch ❤
So true!
As China people, I'm glad to see you have a pleasant time in China and have a wonderful experience and hospitality.❤
Good job.
Great video!👍😊
You are both lovely people.
I am Chinese, we don't use Google Map and Apple Map. We use Baidu Map (百度地图) and Gaode Map (高德地图). If you came to China, you could use these two Maps.
They don't need to. They already have a VPN so they can upload their videos and read their emails.
@@96518 It's nothing about VPN. Just because Baidu Map and Gaode Map works much better than Apple Map and Google map in China.
@@96518 the problem is Google map won't give you accurate location in China even with VPN.
Wonderful video! have fun guys!🥰
Five finger peach is root of tree, the leaf look like a open fingers hand. Cantonese use it for cooking, it give coconut fragrant and good for pancreas and lung 。
Like your series on China👍
Last one went up today, but we’ll be back! It was Chinese food in London - which is definitely a bit different to Chinese food

Thanks for the documentary recommendation ! So beautiful and so interesting!
Thank you for sharing
Thank you guys great vid 🎉🎉❤😊
Chinese dishes are often named after the shapes they are made in.
Lovely to hear 😊😊
im so glad you two love China. It is rare for foreigners to try out China as a travel destination when the majority of western countries' governement is trying to portray hatred towards China.
Thanks!
Thanks Markus! Very kind of you 🙏🏻
Been following your China journey for a while now, something people don't mention is the two of you have amazing style! Always looking great!
Good job Giulia& Pat! You two are open minded. Love all the videos. Also, welcome to visit Macau next time, it’s different vibe of south too! 🙌🏻

You're excitement is coming through. Thanks for sharing the trip of your lifetime
It’s quite amazing, even Chinatown in London feels so different
Nice photography skills!
😂🙏🏻
Thank you very much for telling the truth. I love China. But the west still black mouth China. Such as BBC, ABC.. etc 😢
In China BBC is famous for lying. The Chinese have a saying, “You should not be too BBC”, which means one should not be too dishonest.
I like China too.people are nice, the price is affordable and the food is varied.
Yesss - i wonder why Chinese food in London is so different, we just did a vlog on it - it's really British Chinese aha!

China's development is beyond our imagination, and China is also a friendly country.
BBCs will hate you,why you tell the truth 😂
You sound idiot
🤣
They turn the blue sky into grey sky, poor credibility as usual.
