@chickenchaserbri I use it as a back up feeder, as I'm away for 3-4 days at a time. Also use that hanging bucket feeder thing. I have a video of my coop on UA-cam, please be the first to have a look and give me some feedback. Thanks, much appreciated
1. cut a hole in the hardware cloth covering the wall of the chicken run 2. push the Y part of the pipe inside the hole you made in step #1, leaving the tall part outside 3. fill up the pipe with chicken feed until it reaches the top 4. The chickens will still their head in and eat My only concern with this is you'll have to cover the pipe or when it rains, it'll get full of water.
Just a small fyi that's ABS, not PVC. Also that piece is called a "WYE".
Thanks!
Nice!!
Thank You!
Looks like the letter “Y”
So plumber call it a “Y” 😎
Why did my brain randomly scream "giant chicken water bong"" 🤣 lmao
very cool idea! loving your channel. You're beautiful;
😂😂that would be fun to make too lol
I made the mistake of buying my first parts from Ace Hardware. It cost me $45! I love Ace Hardware but not for some things!😂
Love your video!
Oh yeah since they are more limited in their inventory some things can get a little pricey there😅thanks so much! Hope you love the feeders too!
When did FBG Butta start raising chickens?
Pvp pipe for water and sewer service
And chicken feeders!
Solved my problem 😂
Did exactly the same. Chickens made a mess outside, too much food loss. I added a 5cm extension tube, much better
Love the idea of an extension tube! My chickens haven’t made a mess of their food yet but I’m gonna keep this in mind if they ever do!

I had same issue. Cut down a 4-3" reducer to slide between the y and the upper tube and that helps alot
How much does it hold?
How do you keep water put of feed
The way I solve that is to have the feeder inside the coop.
It’s located under a covered chicken run
It's called a Y
Thanks!
How Is it a chicken feeder exactly? Lol I'm new here
