Maybe he could recreate the catwoman kissing scene with the potted plant. If the Batman mask didn’t have the neighbors scratching their heads then this should do it.
Yes please more of these love it ..made me laugh seeing you do the set up BTS with the mask on.. would one of you home made filters with some marks on it have worked for the window shot ... ps would Batman have one of the little gimbals ?
Thanks man! 😂 haha the batgimbal! I tried the filter in some shots but it wasn’t what I was going for. I also tried smearing the lens with stuff but that was a little overkill too. Thanks for watching man 🙏🏻🎥🤩🦇
This was so much fun to watch. Your shots were 💯. I love watching behind the scenes footage of how movies are lit. In many cases, the darker scenes are actually using more light than the viewer might think, which allows them to get more detail and less noise - and then they make it darker with filters / in post. It always amazes me to see what they do for these movie sets. And you did an excellent job with this one. But what I really want to know is: where were you during your outside batman shot? (Really hoping you were in the front yard with the neighbors wondering what the heck Batman is doing. lol)
Great stuff man, really very helpful and filled with so many tricks. One thing I didn't like about Batman movie was its cg city, sometimes it felt very cgi-sh and I dont know why but that lens distortion-aberration thing was really distracting throughout the whole movie (looked like it was just masked out the same regardless of the scene and felt very lazy imo).
I LOVE this video!! Great job brotha haha the prop was a brilliant idea. Learning more about lighting for this one, gives me a lot to think about going forward 🤔
Hi. Thank you for watching. The frames are from Amazon and links are in the description if you’re curious. But you can make your own. The material isn’t the best but it does the job 🙏🏻🦇🎥
Hello. I’m not a photographer but the thing that brought me to this video is bc I’m curious as to how they got the headlight halo or glare or whatever it’s called. I’m watching on hbomax and the time stamp only runs descending so it’s at 58:38-58:32, the scene right after catwoman pushes the cop of the ledge. I can’t tell if the halis are organic or cg. They look like they’ve been intentionally distorted to add to the dark, wet Gotham aesthetic.
I’ll be doing a video all about false colour monitoring soon. Honestly I underexposed these shots slightly but the S5 is great in lowlight. But it’s more about lighting than the camera. I’ve done some video comparisons using the S5 showing low light vS Sony
UA-cam must be using some witchcraft because in the past few days I was watching many reviews about the lumix s5 which is my dream camera.Lol algorithm😂btw thx for the video.
To be honest, you really need to have the lights brighter than you think. I could have gone brighter to be fair. Check out my latest video about exposure
Who wants to see more videos like this??
Me
Thank you! 🤩🙏🏻🎥🦇
Yes, definitely more like this!
Thanks Jesse! 🙏🏻🤩🎥🦇

Hahaha! 😂😂😂 what a substitute eh! 😂 thanks brother! 🙏🏻🎥🦇

Instead of shooting through glass, try a window screen. They create awesome checkered patterns!
We just need you to do dialog and say I’m bloody Batman damn it😂
😂 maybe in the next one
That Batman mask was on point! I am here for the whole show! 👋🏼🇨🇦

Hi. Thank you for watching. The frames are from Amazon and links are in the description if you’re curious. But you can make your own. The material isn’t the best but it does the job 🙏🏻🦇🎥

Hi Sam, I would like to know how S5 handled darkness and how did you expose to not clip shadows, especially in this low key scenario.
I’ll be doing a video all about false colour monitoring soon. Honestly I underexposed these shots slightly but the S5 is great in lowlight. But it’s more about lighting than the camera. I’ve done some video comparisons using the S5 showing low light vS Sony
the jump cut to the mask 😂
😂🙏🏻🦇
UA-cam must be using some witchcraft because in the past few days I was watching many reviews about the lumix s5 which is my dream camera.Lol algorithm😂btw thx for the video.
Hi Nicholas. I have plenty of videos on the S5 if you want to know more. Thanks for watching 🤩🙏🏻🎥🦇
@@SamHolland Thx😃
Nice!!
Thank you! 🙏🏻🎥🤩🦇
🔥🔥🔥
Any recommendations for a light to use for cellphone one you can clip with red light
This is a good video
Thank you 🎥🤩
What Picture profile you use? i tried this dark look too, but in s-log 2 is simply pure noise

Vaseline in the glass and windows ;)
Nah lighting was some shit. You should be able to watch a film without feeling the need for night vision goggles.
