Jen! I’ve known for a while that you would absolutely love Out by Natsuo Kirino. It’s also a murder mystery by a Japanese arthor, basically coworkers at a lunch box factory help cover up a murder. It’s told from different view points and it is gritty and so so good. I really hope you give it a try!
I was LITERALLY just thinking “i wish jenn would upload a video rn i need something good to watch” and i got the notification..... your power .... we stan
1. Russian Doll (Netflix original, think Groundhog’s Day meets The Good Place meets existentialism) 2. Age of Youth (a Korean drama on Netflix, 2 seasons, about the lives of 5 women in a share house, actually explores some dark themes) I wish I read enough books to have a favorite for this month but I’ve been enjoying this full-color graphic novel, Kochou no Yumeji (The Butterfly’s Dream). Also a slightly disturbing psychological manga: Sachiiro no One Room.
These two are the most recent books from my book club and both were brilliant! "Eleanor Oliphant is completely Fine" and "The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo"
BOOK RECS! The Couple Next Door by Shari Lapena: a couple leaves their baby sleeping in their house while they go to a dinner party next door. They check on her alternating between every 30 mins and hour AND they have the baby monitor. Then BAM baby is missing and we take lots of twists and turns and then a curveball to find out who took the baby and where is it. Also The Dreamers by Karen Thompson Walker: A freshman girl in a small college town in the hills of Southern California falls asleep... and doesn’t wake up! You get a very atmospheric, detailed (contained? claustrophobic?) story of how this sleep effects a handful of people.
Educated by Tara Westover! It's an amazing memoir/autobiography written by a woman who grew up in a survivalist family and never set foot in a school (or seen the outside world really) before 17 years old
I am loving the storm glass series. I think it’s free on amazon unlimited. It follows two young women, one is an orphan who is being adopted as well as searching for her birth parents. The other is an aristocrat and a future ruler, who is disinherited by her father.
please please please do a eggie festival breakdown video like you used to! those are always one of my favourite videos from you because i love hearing the inspiration and your thought process behind each piece ! love ya x
@@imjennim noooooooo omfg!!!! i'm SOSOSOSOSOSO keen! i love knowing your thought process behind each piece because i feel like when i wear them i have a piece of your mind on me, but that's just me! i really can't wait for pay day so i can SPLURGE on eggiefest!! x
You know that these comments are incredibly annoying right? Do they actually gain you subscribers? I'm genuinely interested. I know that the youtube algorithm does not quite help new youtubers, but I would never subscribe to someone I found through one of these comments, I can't imagine other people would.
Hi Jen, regarding Cheekie, i recommend you look into raw food diet. It can help with her allergies and make her live longer. Most kibbles have a lot of fillers such as starch or bad carbs, that could be the reason why she's having allergies and it will kill her system overtime.
*Book recommendation* : Mr. Penumbra's 24-hour Bookstore by Robin Sloan. It's rippled throughout with references to modern technology and magic, with settings ranging from the Hogwarts-like not-as-it-seems bookstore to Google headquarters. The language is witty, the plot is adventurous and all the while through you get this feeling of joy and never wanting to leave the universe and simultaneous lessons in programming. Would highly recommend! :-)
jenn, idk how much you like fantasy books, but the poppy war is a very interesting take on a fantasy war/military school story, its dark but fun at the same time, and it takes place in an asian-like setting! so it adds asian mythology and more diversity, it was my favorite book from last year!
my march favorite has been my kindle COMBINED with overdrive - the system that my local library uses to help people electronically borrow ebooks! it's so fantastic all i have to do is click a bit and even if the book isn't available (which they frequently aren't, b/c of the # online users to # ebooks of that one available), I can put it on hold. THEN my library will automatically email me and check it out when it's my turn, which MEANS i'm forced to immediately read it within that 7-14 days otherwise i'll be back on the hold list for who knows when, which MEANS I'm reading a lot more these days :D
I highly recommend The Sympathizer by Viet Thanh Nguyen. It's a novel about a spy who is half-Asian, half-French, and grew up in Vietnam but studied in the states. He's so articulate in expressing the struggles of dual identities, and the intricacies of Asian culture. He also has a unique sense of humor and knack for recognizing and calling out Americans' quirks. Hope you get to read it! I'm almost finished and am loving it :)
Oddly enough, I love the dog toys! My dogs are eating their food way too fast and then start eating each other’s food. Such a great way to have them slow down
Sateen sheets are THE BEST!!! It’s kind of that satin-cotton hybrid that feels super luxurious and slinky but not as slippy as actual satin. I always have the best sleep when I have my sateen sheets on my bed 🥰😴
hey jenn i think you'd be addicted to this book!! Its a british crime novel by Jack Jordan called Before Her Eyes. It follows Naomi, a blind girl who has been caught in the middle of a murder but the murderer did not kill her and the police are curious as to why the murderer spaired her life! Also herself and a cop begin to wonder if the town is build on lies... Its a very suspenseful, emotional and intense read! You won't be able to put it down!!
Things I have been LOVING: BBC 4's Desert Island Discs. There is a huge back catalogue of episodes. The Jo Malone one made me cry. Saba a hip hop artist is a new discovery and his song Photosynthesis is amazing. Grace and Frankie on Netflix is hilarious and I didn't realise Jane Fonda was such a badass feminist who supported the LGBTQ community waaaay back in the 70s.
The book Hidden Bodies by Caroline Kepnes is my favourite book so far in this year!! It is closely linked with the one called YOU by the same author. Please read them!! You will definitely like it if you really enjoy crime novels!
I've been watching Sailor Moon! I'm currently on the third season which is Sailor Moon S. My husband and I are watching The Blacklist. I highly recommend it!
I've been enjoying listening to the Optimal Living Daily podcasts while stretching. They're normally 6-15 minutes long -- perfect way to start or end the day!
My biggest obsessions this month were two new scents: Jo Malone, blackberry & bay And Bvlgari, omnia paraiba And a new swimsuit brand, called bright swimwear. It's all hand crafted straight from Sweden, and honestly, it's the most comfortable suit I've ever owned. Much love, Sohyun 💕
Can you please do a video on tips on wedding planning, favorites and what you would advise other brides to do on their wedding day? I'd love to hear your experience!
Hey Jenn! I just wanted to drop a comment on this video and say THANK YOU because I read The Devotion of Suspect X on your recommendation and it blew my mind!! I'm so incredibly happy to have read it, I finished the book in about three days, could barely put it down haha
The Devotion of Suspect X is a part of a series called 'Detective Galileo', the next book is Salvation of a Saint. I think you would enjoy the series! My favorite Keigo Higashino book is 'Malice', it truly reflects how irrational hatred is.
Who else LOVES the variation of things in this particular favorites video? 😍 This month I've been obsessed with couples channels on UA-cam xD This is a small suggestion but what do you think about making a pranking Ben video?🤣 Plus I'm loving the glow you give out all the time Jenn- your vids never cease to make my day even after being subscribed for 4 years💕💕 my heart always lits up when I see your notification haha
I've been soo intrigued by the wig life! I've been seeing so many of my fave youtube girls rocking wigs...so naturally, I caved and purchased one off Amazon LOL. I'd love to see your wig routine!
Jenn please try fantasy genre too I would recommend *"The name of the wind"* by Patrick Rothfuss. Please read it, it's my favourite and I would absolutely love it if you'd share with us your opinions after reading it(I hope you will!!) Love you so much
why are there some items missing from the eggie website? were they removed for any particular reason? i was looking to buy the fuzzy baby tee as well as some other items but it seems they were removed from the online store :(
YOU SHOULD TOTALLY WATCH "THE CROWN" ON NETFLIX. Total anglophile myself and it very dramatically and entertainingly covers Queen Elizabeth's (the current queen) reign. It is superb, if you liked the favourite you'll love The Crown!!!!! (ps huge fan of your videos, i adore you so much)
I grew up not liking to read but your way of summarizing and telling stories of stories got me to pick up a book. Now I enjoy reading in my free time (: Thanks Jenn!
I don'y know if you've dabbled in John Grisham's books. I am currently reading my first one from him - Camino Island. I'm reading Life Lessons that you recommended and I'm loving it so far! I've been highlighting quotes that I really liked!
I've been enjoying video editing and creating videos. And I'm just inspired to be better at it. Keep shining Jenn! You are an inspiration. 😉❤

These two are the most recent books from my book club and both were brilliant! "Eleanor Oliphant is completely Fine" and "The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo"
Thank you for the recs!!
How can you keep your teeth white always 😭😭😭 Please make a video about it
Brushing 2x for 2 minutes with an electronic toothbrush + whitening toothpaste!
Which brand of whitening toothpaste?
@@haileychio246 I think she said in a previous video that she uses colgate optic white
Hailey Chio i’m currently using Optic White too and it really does whiten significantly!
I vouch for Colgate optic white also!! Best toothpaste ever to keep you teeth white. I also use crest white strips which are amazing.
Haruki Murakami is a must read! IQ84 is very long but so worth it, and his other shorter works are amazing as well!

Hi Jenn, where you got your earrings? They looks so good on you, minimal and elegant.
These are the Edie Hoops - Medium from Jenny Bird! I have them in Silver and love them! 💕
If you don't give us a tutorial for this eye look I'm gonna cry! This is soooo beautiful! I've never wanted a makeup tutorial so badly, lol
I am loving the storm glass series. I think it’s free on amazon unlimited. It follows two young women, one is an orphan who is being adopted as well as searching for her birth parents. The other is an aristocrat and a future ruler, who is disinherited by her father.
omg YOUR MAKEUP HERE. I LOOOOVE. Please do a tutorial!! :D
I think you’d love the book Six of Crows!!! It’s a dark mystery with some fantasy elements and the characters are just so complex and multisided!!!
oh god I loved The Devotion of Suspect X. Just a normal setting around a flat but such a page-turner! xx
We need a tutorial for this makeup look - or at least, a breakdown of the products used. Please, Jenn!
please please please do a eggie festival breakdown video like you used to! those are always one of my favourite videos from you because i love hearing the inspiration and your thought process behind each piece ! love ya x
Aye Aye!!! So curious about the details of this release!
Ahh really? I thought people weren't too keen on them. ):

You should watch Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries on Netflix if you haven’t. It’s great! She’s a fashionable flapper socialite solving mysteries
*Who else loves her aesthetic?* 🥰🌿🌙💓
- Also a youtuber btw

Hi Jen I'm a short little Asian so i was wondering what length do you get you fabletic leggings?

I watched the Lobster once and never again. It made me incredibly anxious and uncomfortable and although I think that’s the point, it was to a point where I couldn’t deal w it anymore LOL amazing vid, Jenn!!!
I really want to see the tutorial of this eye makeup
You should look into a raw diet for your dog. Vets always recommend their kibble but it's actually not a dog's natural diet to eat dried up, processed meat (and whatever filler, preservatives, flavourings they add). Chicken and red meat is a common dog allergy too, my dog is allergic to both and since going off it her skin has improved greatly.
