John Deere S120 Fuel and basic operation

Here is a quick video on how to fuel and operate the S120 or similar 2023 S100 series John Deere mowers. The right foot has two pedals, one for forward and one for backwards. When you let go of either pedal the tractor stops moving. The brake on the left is for use during starting and to stop it from rolling. there is a safety brake (orange switch) that can be pulled up so it won't roll when you get off. The seat switch stops the tractor if you stand up or get off. It is a pain if you mow around a tree branch and lean to one side. That action can take your weight off the pressure switch and stall the engine. Not a fan of the feature.

I bought mine over the summer. I still need to do the oil change this spring. How do you like the easy oil change? Is it a reliable option? I'm used to the old school ways of changing oil.

Hope you enjoy the machine. Land here is rocky so lots of bumps. Suspension/tires are a little hard on the back if you go full speed all the time.
Mixed opinions about the quick change oil. I've heard you will not clean all the old oil out with this new method. Can be modified to a regular filter and add a drain. A little about my skill but could be worth the effort if it prolonged engine life🤔🙏
