You totally hit the nail on the head with your "gratitude" attitude, Trevor, it certainly makes living our lives easier. I could not agree more with you, when you say to be grateful for the opportunity to be able to make music!

I’m really happy to see this! It’s funny cause yesterday I learned that I needed to be more grateful for the work I get. Sometimes I catch myself complaining and saying “Why am I scoring this project? This isn’t my style of writing” and that’s not really fair to say at all. I realized that I should be more thankful for the work that I’m getting and that I have directors that I have a built a relationship with that come to me wanting me to write for their film. Every film is a new challenge. Just have fun with it.
Great video!! Thanks for such wonderful content.

Thank you so much for sharing this Trevor. Love your mindset & optimism. I take the same approach with gratitude, always trying to be grateful for where I am at the beginning of this amazing journey 🙏🏼😊

Very cool. I like it when you talk about things that most composers are afraid to talk about. This shows what it really is like to start off as a composer. Very cool.

I just don't see why not in the age of transparency, we all go through the same things

It's very important to be grateful, especially for a gift you, and other composers, artists have. Because of your hard work and determination plus talent you are closer to your dreams then ever. I wish you the best of luck.

Thanks for sharing this Trevor. This one really hit the nail on the head! I guess it's about time to start enjoying the things I've accomplished as opposed to obsessively focusing on the things I haven't. Looking forward to more videos.

Love it. Gratitude in practice helps you to stop looking at life as a series of victories and defeats, and instead see the value of having different experiences. I think it might be a little less intuitive to get to for us cynical Gen Xers, but it does make this biz (and any life, really) so much better

Very inspiring, Trevor, and as with all your interviews I've seen, you're refreshingly honest. All the best to you and yours
PS is there such a thing as 'too Tony Robbins'? :)
