I agree 100 percent, with the lady talking about alternatives to a traditional 4-year college. Other fields where college is not required are in sells, such as Life Insurance, Disability Insurance, Health Insurance, Stocks, Bonds, and Mutual Funds along with Real Restate. In the 1970's when, I was in college most high schools had two tracks: one track was for the trades (i.e. automobile mechanic, carpenter, draftsman, plumber, welder, and electrician, etc.); the second track was for students who plan to attend college. When, I enter my selected 4-year college had two interest "History" and "Science". Knew, I would always been broke with a major in history. So, I earned a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering and have had an enjoyable career for over 40-years. As for money, my Net Worth is now $1.4 million (half in the value of my home and half in liquid assets). Please, never let a student go past community college on to a University and then major in a useless degree (smile ... smile).
the greatest scam is the college pipeline. there is no justified reason that the most commodified, deflationary service (education) is the most inflationary service in the world (college degrees are almost 1,000% more expensive than 30 years ago). it sucks for this young lady but hopefully her message reaches other people before they fall into the SAME trap.
i honestly think generic college degrees will be nonexistent in future especially white collar jobs. technology is always deflationary overtime and AI, automation, and robotics will end repetitive work vs very specialized jobs or specific skill or talent (NFL QB, liberal arts, plumber) ....think about it, if we get into world of AI and continue on this debt base inflationary money then the productivity and wealth will be concentrated even more which forces govt to deploy UBI for most. the minority that dont need UBI will have more freedoms to do what they want....
and over 60% of college grads and student loan debt are women. if college degrees are worthless and the workforce will be robotic , automated then women in the workforce will have no value. Vast majority of women will not be plumbers or electricians that robots cant replace so what is their role? wife, mother, childbearer, homemaker....so the system is actually forcing the family to heal our problem with low birth rates.
In the early 1980's, I earned my B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering. However, today please try to stay away from computers/information technology/and coding. If you have an interest in computer science, just go to community college an earn an AA degree or a certification in the "hot" new programing system (smile ... smile).
The main thing about tech jobs not needing degrees is it's kind of. If you have a degree, they're likely going to hire you. For someone who doesn't you can get a job, but if you're starting a career in tech, you might as well get a degree@@getbasedtv
At this point, going to College might even be riskier than just buying Bitcoin! I still believe education is the best personal investment though. And you can do that even without going to College!
BINGO! Every day there is SO MUCH amazing free education on UA-cam / platforms like Saylor Academy, that in our opinion, BLOWS COLLEGE TEXTBOOKS OUT OF THE WATER! Bitcoin > tuition to a university that just rolls it into an endowment fund for themselves

In the early 1980's, I earned my B.S, degree in Electrical Engineering and at a State University my tuition costs was only $550 per semester.
STEM!! If you can! GET BASED!
STEM is usually worth it! But a lot of tech jobs don't need degrees now too!

Hi Julian. Just saw you on the Robin Sayer podcast.
Hi!!! Thanks for coming by :D Robin is an awesome podcast host!
Maybe they should stop going to out of state schools and big name schools for the flex
Why is Harvard in the thumbnail? I didn't hear anything about Harvard in your video. Did I miss something?
Looks like it was cut off - the girl in the third clip references it. Definitely more aimed at liberal arts schools/degrees though
Yes, I agree. I did not hear anything about Harvard.
GET BASED
