* The stand with stick & slide is a Skirt MaRker, not Maker.. You mark the HEM if you have a tilt from one leg longer than other or perhaps a disability. Seamstress would use it.. ~ Fun shirt, Kayla!
I get so tickled that y'all are so young you don't know what things are. You know what that means! Ha, ha! The ruler with the sliding gage is a seamstress dress, skirt, or pant hemmer to keep hem even. My Granny was a seamstress, but i don't even think she used one she was so good, just a yardstick. The metal thing with teeth looks like part of some sort of jack. The pretty blue/green vase had a "frog" in the bottom for arranging flowers. Church sales are great! Had fun shopping with you. I always learn from you. Oh, and Julius, saying "I'm with HER" is definitely the way to impress others.🥰 Cat
I spent a lot of time with those pipe threaders back in the 70s working as an electrician's helper for my Dad. They last forever, so I'm not surprised they sell well for you. Great job!
8:48 These are cabinet touch up kits. The names you read are the cabinet colors for that brand. The piece you poked with your fingernail is the crayon and they usually include a scraper of some sort for the crayon and a marker as well.
I made a set of cannisters like your mushroom ones for my aunt years ago. Only i used orange green and brown for the colors and she had them in use until she passed away last year.
I don't know if you notice when your videos do closed captions but this one made my day because instead of it saying winner winner chicken dinner it says winter winter chicken dinner and i both found it funny because winter is here and the typo
The thing you picked up that you didn't know what it was is an older bottle capper. Home brewers like this style cause they're easier to use than newer wing style cappers. Also the porcelain dish with the pointy things in the bottom I believe is for displaying cut flowers with water added.
You should get a few antique books and get to know the older items. The skirt hemmer is a tool that sewers used to mark the hem of shirts, dressers or pants. The piece with the spikes in it is a planter with a built in flower frog to hold stems of flowers. If you take some time to look through antique books you’ll learn to look for vintage goodies!
We have a smaller version of thar Dyna Trap bug attracting machine. It has a special light inside to attract mosquitoes & other bugs. They go into the bottom & can’t get out-no zapping. Works pretty good for us. I would have probably bought those Nash nesting dolls-not for the Nashville stars but because Nash is my maiden name 😊
The blue pottery “ candle holder” is really a vase with. Built in flower frog, that spiky thing in the center is for flowers not a candle. It looks like a beautiful blue lily pad to me but it’s definitely a vase with flower frog in the middle.
Metal thing at the 13:45 mark is a bottle sealer. if you make your own Root beer or other beverage.. There are Health drinks that it could be use for if you don't have a screw top.. Again Specialized.
The skirt hemmer is a dress makers to to setting a pin line for a straight skirt or dress line. The metal part stands on the floor raise height length by moving the screw piece appropriately for the dress owner for hemming by hand or machine.
@@beardedthriftmachine vinegar & water is an awesome rust remover , just soak rusty tools etc in a mix of vinegar & water , about half & half , for a few hours or a day if the rust is real bad , then scrub with steel wool or a wire brush etc . I have used just straight vinegar if the rust is real bad , just not on anything thin or it will eat a hole right through it lol .
Nice pick ups. I saw a mike shake machine there, those can be great pick ups if the price is right and the ant trap was a Ikebana used for floral arrangement. they can be worth $25 or more. Thanks for sharing.🥰
I think the first tall gadget you didn't understand what it was was a bottle caper and the second one. The little spikes are to put the stems of flowers on. It's to make a flower arrangement in. It's used in ikebana flower arranging.
You guys crack me up! Ant trap!?! It's a vase and those spikes are called a "flower frog." The flowers are held in place by the spikes. And the soda bottle capper and skirt hemmer. I guess my age is showing. I've used all three of these things in the past. But I'm just as clueless with electronics and video games. So old age isn't always an advantage. Great video! Thanks for sharing.
Hey, take it easy on the clubs 😉... can't imagine how you would handle seeing a stack of Coleman or Yeti coolers 😁...Mrs Thrift would pretend she doesn't know you. Love watching you two.
15:21 that blue dish thing, the spikey thing in the bottom is called a frog, is to put plants in, you just put the heavy stems from flowers or twigs etc in or in-between those spikes then add water
That was nice they put that honest sign about fake purses. My granddaughter studied for 3 yrs to authtenticate ( spelling?) Purses, wallets, shoes, sneakers and vintage clothing. So when she picks up something and puts it right down i get it but when she looks and brings out that eye piece that jewelers use 99.9 % she buys it. 😅😅😂
That Arthur Court tray @ 9:12 is usually a really good pickup. Maybe you should research that? And at @15:00 that’s an Ikebana (pronounced; icky bana) vase used in Japanese flower arranging. The spikes are for flowers. ♥️ Great haul today! Congratulations 🎉🎉🎉 on your 100K!
Already. a comment above. Skirtmaker. Lady stands in front of you with skirt on. Place gadget on floor, slide fabric between the two attachments and mark fabric with chalk all the way around so same length. Bofies come on all diff shapes and sizes. :) may still use for wedding dresses.
Wish you would have bought the lily pad with the pin frog in it, I would have bought it! I do flower arrangements for a hobby, and I love doing ikebana style.

I've been gathering up some items and taking notes when you say what brands shoes clothing luggage etc, are valuable good finds. If you have any videos that would help me further, I would appreciate some more info on best shipping methods aswell as best items to look for to sell fast as I currently don't have alot of space to store stuff.. The other tall thing that looked kind of like a car Jack was a wine bottle corker. Pull the lever up and put the wine bottle in it and put the cork on the bottle and pull the lever down and the cork gets pushed into the top of the bottle.

It's an ikebana vase to arrange flowers in. Complete with kenzan flower pin holder.
The skirt marker helped the dressmaker to measure and mark the hem of the dress when the person wore the dress while standing on an elevated platform.
The thing you picked up that you didn't know what it was is an older bottle capper. Home brewers like this style cause they're easier to use than newer wing style cappers. Also the porcelain dish with the pointy things in the bottom I believe is for displaying cut flowers with water added.
Excellent info on that
Operated a bottle capper for quite a while when our automated one went out when a teen back in Scotland
I have one that is older in my basement
The glass pitcher was the best piece I have seen in a long time.

The piece of pottery with spikes that's for flower arrangement it's a floweral frog
skirt maker is for measuring a proper hem length from the floor.
Nice pick ups. I saw a mike shake machine there, those can be great pick ups if the price is right and the ant trap was a Ikebana used for floral arrangement. they can be worth $25 or more. Thanks for sharing.🥰

Looks like they had a nice variety at the sale.
The deep blue ceramic piece with metal inside with sharp points: it is for arranging flowers. You stick the stem onto the pointed mettal.
15:21 that blue dish thing, the spikey thing in the bottom is called a frog, is to put plants in, you just put the heavy stems from flowers or twigs etc in or in-between those spikes then add water
Signed studio art pottery Japanese style ikebana vase with attached pin frog-$20 to $30.
I dumpster dive and reselling the items. I found the Sears Mushroom Tureen on the curb and sold it for $120. Awesome score. 👌
Congratulations on hitting 100,000 Subscribers!!!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
The "what is this thing" is a bottle capper. To cap bottles when making beer.
There's the church
There's the steeple
Go to their yardsale
Where are the people?
The one item is to put bottle caps on your bottle. We used them when we made homemade Root Beer.

Great Video hello from Belfast (Northern Ireland 🇬🇧
I think that presidential decanter would have been good.
I looked it up- only about $5
I thought the same thing, it looks just like the Wheaton glass ones that they made a long time ago. Some of those can fetch really good money.
paul does real well with those milkshake makers
Skirt Maker for hemming. Yup.
the skirt maker takes two people to use. one wearing the skirt---the other person pinning the hem of the skirt
That thing with the crank handle and teeth is probably for attaching caps to bottles for wine or home brewing.
CONGRATULATIONS ON 100K! 🎊 ⚡️⚡️💥🔥⭐️🌟💥🔥⚡️⚡️

Hey!!!! Thanks so much for watching and still being here!
What app do you have ,that you take picture, and they come up with price, amazed
What is the app you looked up the canisters with? Thanks.
The metal piece that you had no idea what it was i believe was a bottle capper for home made soda like root beer.
Did you see the NuWave and Hamilton Beach mixer?
They seemed the price was a little high for some items
It’s for flowers to make an arrangement
