    I owned a lot of cameras and allmost all Fuji models. The X-Pro 2 is my favourite. Plus one minor thing for some, but a big one for me: The X-Pro 2 probably has the sexiest shutter sound of any camera ever made.

    I have exact set up. The 35mm 1.4 is my standard carry around. I could use a zip lock bag if I wanted to shoot in the rain, except the front of lens would get exposed. Just awesome images.

    4:42 Really intriguing! "A tool that's an extension of my mind?" Last time a had this feeling was when I used a Leicaflex SL for the first time. And that happened several decades ago. Maybe I should consider taking a closer look at this X-Pro 2.

    Yes! This is my favorite camera too, for same reasons you mentioned. I just got the Voigtlander 18mm f2.8 for it and it's somehow become even more perfect.

    The future is not some simulation modes in side. The future is Luts
    Where Fucci delivers the camera with stimulation modes as LUTS. Well, you can tweak and add some of your own.
    Sony a seven C2 Would be the camera to beat in a similar price range
    I see yes if unchanged looks the ex pro four will have the looks, but it still does not have full frames so the Sony with its fantastic focus system, and full frame sensor

      the x-pro 3 is absolutely a better camera, especially if you're doing video or need crazy fast autofocus, but if you just want it to take super nice film-like photos, the x-pro 2 is amazing, and i really recommend the 35mm 1.4 to go with it!

    This camera made me relearn photography. I like the way it spits out the basic colors… much more than the so called Leica Look …. which feels sterile to me. Also the over sharpness of the Leica Lenses. WoW Analog Photography, even with a Leica, never was over-sharp. Ok, yes colors need to be graded here and there, specially when I compensate heavy like Haas. But I guess every System has flaws. If I were Fuji I would simplify the digital menu, and I would get rid of some illogical flaws. I would use the same color science bit with 60 MPX resolution. I would add a digital Zoom like Leica or Panasonic did it. I will never give up my x-pro2

      @shutter000  2 місяці тому +1

      @@photobobo I’ve definitely looked into it and I’m sure it’s a great camera, but I think it loses some of the simplicity that I like about the 2! It adds more complex auto-focus, flip out screen, a whole bunch of more modern features, plus it’s a LOT more expensive… For me, I like using the X-Pro to turn off my brain and not worry about those things, so I think it’s more suited for me
