People are saying Reynor got lucky in game 5. It was that amazing ambush that he set up and sprung. Great play; never park your entire army next to a bush when you're opponent is itching for a comeback. That was decision-making and had nothing to do with wrist issues. You could say that Byun made that mistake because of wrist issues, but then you can blame every bad decision on wrist issues. That was just Reynor outplaying Byun.
He won because Byun was in so much pain he couldn't control his units. Terran can't afford to make a single mistake even after killing 2 hatches for nothing. Buyn lost a drop, and then one more medevac once the game was already won, and that was enough to lose.
Except his wrists were hurting more and more as the games went on. These guys had all long games and went the distance in their match-up. It was game 5 and they had about 2 hours of playing by then, not counting any of the other matches they had during the day. Think about how much activity his wrists had had by then. Think about all the mouse movements and clicking 350 APM for that long a time.

Reynor just abuse zerg defensive meta, he isnt at the level of koreans, what a stupid balance team this game has. Spam larva, spam queens , spam hatchs, f5 go all in so good, no wonder why this game is dying

It is always sad to see Byun losing at mid game due to his wrist issue. It has been going on for years, he is a micro master, no way he lose to bane surround if not for his wrist pain.
Byun having some serious issues with his wrists here from game 3 on. Can see him wincing and shaking his hands pretty violently around 41 minutes in. Poor guy, it defo affected his performance. He shoulda won this series hands down - bloody wrists.

@@3zhayIts unfortunately a huge part for a lot of these guys. Im hoping that esports becoming more "professional" will make it to such that guys like Reynor have more access to information and care for their wrists so they dont fucking explode by age 30.

@@3zhay It always makes me sad to watch Byun go from top form to loosing due to his wrist. :( He'll always be no1 in my heart and wish him only the best! And I know that if his wrist can hold for an entire event, he's skilled enough to take a 2nd world title!
It really sucks watching him struggle. For Byun there’s a major psychosomatic component to it. When he plays from home in a comfortable environment he doesn’t have as many issues. He’s said that the audience at LAN makes him tense up which causes more pain. That’s difficult to treat. I wonder if something simple like a heating pad/pack wrapped around his wrist would help keep it from locking up.
He’s been struggling for years. With all the money they make why not go for surgery or something and get it fixed?

Love how zerg can stay on ling/bane/queen for 13 mins while Terran is on reaper/marine/marauder/mine/tank/medivac/liberator.
Those mistakes by byun in the last game are a bit out of character. Byun is known for not getting hit with banes hard because he splits marines very well and is good at sniping.
Thats why Reynor did not know why he won.

Only zerg can win from the shitties position without breaking a sweat. This game balance is trash.
Every time I watch these TvZs I just feel disgusted. One guy simply a-moves ling bane and moves the screen elsewhere while the other guy has to split and micro in all those places at once through pain in the busted wrist. Terrans needs to be like 10x the skill level of the zerg to win.
It was his keyboard hand, not mouse. Also dodging widowmines, forcing good engagements into a siegeline and injecting all take a lot of EPM too.

Zerg won every single tournament for six years and the second T is dominant for a month it needs nerfed.
Just buff P and it will help balance T out. They struggle more with P and the tech shifts as it is.
@@alexwhiteman2628 all terran units have maximum efficiency for example marine reaper etc and they even have a mule it is really hard to win terran as a zerg or protoss
I am really tired of Byun pausing the game bacause of his wrists and everyone just allowing it. It's not allowed to pause for such a reason in any of the rulebooks in any tournament hes played in ever since he came back to SC2 from military service. AND HE JUST KEEPS DOING IT AND GETTING AWAY WITH IT; 1 rulebook for Byun another for the rest
Put it in the rules already or give him a fucking penalty. It stopped being in good faith that he kept pausing and not knowing a long fucking time ago
