Someone else already touched on this, and I know you guys are familiar with all of my Azula flirting super chats in the live streams as of late, but I just wanted to reiterate how incredible this is as a blind person. Like the previous comment that addressed this had stated, I too always wanted to read the comics but wasn’t able to. Finding someone to help me was awkward at best, and I gave up on it after a while. everything you guys do is incredible. You make my day every time you upload, and we all appreciate the hard work you put into this.
You can just substitute the work 'Kill' and 'Killing' for 'End' and 'Ending'. The bold makes it absolutely clear that was the intent, but the property being content-locked at YA-12 made it impossible.
Came across this by incident. i am amazed! This is truly a masterpiece and i can tell made with love! Thanks A LOT for the ton of work you put in there! ❤

i can't believe I didn't find this sooner! The voice acting is superb, you can tell everyone did their best to match not only the original voice actors but also the feeling of the comics, and I loved the way the panels are animated! Subtle details like Ozai smiling and the effects on certain words in the dialogue were so thoughtfully done. i don't even really like the comics very much but you guys have done a phenomenal job here! please understand that it's a compliment when I say that I absolutely hated hearing aang and katara say "sweetie" out loud hahaha
Hahaha! I love that Sokka says what the audience is thinking. OOGIE! Thank you so much for your kind words! I’ll pass them on to the team. That’ll mean a lot to them!
I'm blown away, you have done a fantastic job of bringing this story to life. Voice acting was incredible, you really captured alot of the small nuances in each of voices. 10/10
Uncle should be Zuko's personal adviser and have a tea shop in the fire kingdom he can run as well. Not doing so is possibly the biggest folly Uncle has made. He should know Zuko will need guidance. Having that much power is not something most people can handle without some kind of reality checks and limiters. I think of Game of Thrones. Varys and Tyrion. Where would any of the leaders be without their counselors? A tyrant like Cerci.. it's not fair to Zuko to seemingly make all these decisions alone.
I didn't read the comics, so I don't really know how this plays out, but my first thought is "Aang should let Zuko talk to Roku". This nationalism thing gives Ozai too many options to manipulate Zuko just like it happens in our world, but Roku knows how to deal with it (at least better than Aang or Ozai do).
Things I learned 1. Whoever plays the voice of Sokka, Iroh and a one-year-older Toph is AMAZING. 2. Post puberty Aang, Katara and Zuko sound awesome too! 3. It’s been 19 years since I got into Avatar I still get the oogies from pre-adult Kataang. Sokka I’m with you. 4. Women are really the voice of reason and the ATLA men really need ‘em 😂 But seriously I’m mindblown. This is an amazing project and the entire fandom thanks you 😭😭🙏🙏
Thank you very much! That’s Grant Corvin as Sokka and Jakob Dillon as Ozai. We’re super happy to have them too. I’ll pass on your kind words. I’m sure it’ll encourage them! 🤗
Brilliant work and it's very much appreciated. Katara and Sokka's voices are spot on and did very well. If I can make some suggestions though: Aangs voices seems strained and hesitant. While Aangs facial expressions and actions are often hesitant, his voice rarely is. He has no raspyness nor does he over resonate and trap his sound inside his throat. It's always brave and carefree and only undertones by the stronger emotions. With Zuko, the tone is great, but he lacks Zukos passion in the delivery. Especially the scene asking Aang to promise. That was not a moment of self pity and wallowing like it sounded, but one of clarity, passion, fear, and earnestness. Additionally, when he first confronts the intruder on his ship, he just sounds sullen and defeated. While this would have been appropriate to an early and short-lived version of Zuko, that is not his default tone or what he tends to project. He always has been good at projecting confidence, even when he isn't, as that is what his upbringing for leadership ingrained in him. His insomnia would give a more overt window into his actual feelings and aggravate his weaknesses, so an argument could be made here for that interpretation. So I'll leave it as a personal preference that the sullen take seems right, but is missing the parts of him we've seen develop in his character arch along side it. This makes it seem almost like subtly retconning a large part of his character arch we are looking to see reflected in the following content.
I appreciate the time you took to give this well thought out feed back! As one of the voice directors, I can shed some light as to why we made the choices we did. For Aang: Boy voices sometimes take on a husky quality while changing. In the original you can even hear this happening with Aang’s VA. He starts out clear voiced and gets most scratchy and froggy by the end of the series. Our VA made the choice she did to bridge the gap (and the speech patterns) between OG Aang and the new VA playing him after the time skip. This is why Aang’s laughter in the opening sounds totally different and more light, as we were imitating the opening for that one. For Zuko, the shaky voice was meant to show the beginnings of Zuko’s instability and self doubt. He’s sullen in the scene before he talks to Aang. As resolute as his words are, he himself is not certain, and as he will later admit to Aang by the end of the story, this was him making the cowardly choice. The choked up, unsteady quality is something that Ozai inspires in him, filling him with self doubt and the fear of becoming his father, as well as his own anxiety over the huge task that’s been presented to him. You hit the nail on the head about the insomnia! Zuko isn’t at his strongest right now. He does get stronger voiced and more like the show in other parts of the story (and especially in the episode 4 flashbacks). I hope you will enjoy those and I would love to hear your opinion! Thank you for your feedback. 💖
@@lucialobosvilla This is a brilliant explanation of the intense thought and love for the franchise that went into your decisions. I appreciate the clarity and the delivery even more now. I'll make sure to help spread the word of your work and contributions to ATLA, because you guys seriously deserve it. I've begun design of a tabletop RPG for ATLA myself that is similar to D&D in intent, but innovates different design philosophies and systems to achieve it. So as a fellow creator, fan, and former character actor myself, thank you all.
I love how Aang couldn't end Ozai because it "goes against the monks' teachings" but he was literally almost about to kill Zuko just because he tried to restrain his girlfriend. This goes to show that Aang is 100% simp
This is great! Your voice actors did great at sounding like the original too, props to that. Okay, you kinda made Aang sound more like his actress/impersonator in Ember Island Theatre, and later like... idk, Sokka maybe? - but imitation is hard, I'm sure they tried their best. It really makes it more comprehensible than the thing the official yt channel has, narrated by that single lady with random recycled voicelines from the already existing original series. I guess if this is as close as we ever get to s4, this'll scratch an itch. lol
I am truly impressed. To think that the live action remake on Netflix is only days away now, I feel that I should follow this storyline instead. Everything about it is top-notch. The graphics, original score and the direction that is taking place is flawless. The voice actors for this continuity matches them perfectly, especially for Aang and Zuko after an entire year since the events of the final episode of Book 3. The man voicing Ozai is no Mark Hamill, but he does him justice by nearly having the same tone and pitch that was done originally. From what I’ve seen so far, it is very realistic to how our world is. Just because there’s no war, it doesn’t mean there’s peace. For Aang, he must understand that change isn’t something that can be accomplished overnight. For Zuko, he’s starting to see that yes, he’s not his father but taking up the mantle is a major responsibility that everyone looks up to. What Roku said to Aang in his astral form is true. He had that opportunity to stop Sozin when he cornered him after he conquered Ba Sing Se but couldn’t do it because of their friendship. Yet, despite what they had, it didn’t stop him from leaving the Avatar to die, even when he was on his knees, begging for his help. This is why trust is so hard to have and keep because the sad thing about betrayal is that it never comes from an enemy. Just like what Octavius said to Peter in Spider-Man PS4, if we want to change the world, we have to become the person that can make the hardest decision. Even if it means to comprise who we are. Apologies for this long summary but this allowed me to express my gratitude and appreciation for this masterpiece. Thank you for patience. 🙏

I love Zuko's voice here...so soothing🔥
That’s Cade Watts! Playing Zuko is a dream come true for him so he will appreciate your kind words. Thank you!
Why did I just discover this now? The voice actors are spot on especially the sound effects!!!
Thank you so much!!!
The Aang voice actor reminds of the girl who played aang in the episode where they go to that play in book 3
Ozai and Zuko scene was quite "real" and touching sometimes
Came across this by incident. i am amazed! This is truly a masterpiece and i can tell made with love! Thanks A LOT for the ton of work you put in there! ❤
After how many years, the algorithm gods deemed me worthy of finding such a gem 🥺 tysm
😍😭This amazing! I never got the chance to read the comics! 😩My algorithm really did gods work to bring me this video! The work you guys put into this just makes my inner child so happy! Thank you so much!
Your comment makes US happy! Glad you enjoyed it.
I'm so happy this exists
Why couldn't they just continue the show on Netflix instead of leaving it to the comics 😢
Blame m night
Thank you for this! I have seen others, but the narration was top notch. And I love how you added the original intro into only updated!
Thank you! We love Avatar so much. 😊
As much as I love The Last Airbender, which is a LOT, I could never get throug these comics, until I found this. Truly, thank you for putting it into this format. It makes me so happy
i can't believe I didn't find this sooner!
DMAN!!! i love the voice acting! ZUKO-TOPH even they made ang evolve from his preteen years they did this so WELL!!
Thank you so much!!! 😭💖✨️
This was such a lovey comment! I passed it along to the cast and crew. Thank you so much!
Angs voice actor sounding a bit like the gal in the recounting fire nation propaganda play, just sorta is hilarious.
Hey, like Toph said! That was a reflection of the truth! 😂
I'm blown away, you have done a fantastic job of bringing this story to life. Voice acting was incredible, you really captured alot of the small nuances in each of voices. 10/10
Zukos voice actor is so goood
Thank you! That’s Cade Watts. He’s a relative newbie to anime, but he just packs so much emotion! I’ll pass along your kind words. 🤗
it's too soft. zuko has a stronger voice
Simply incredible, this is filling a need within me I didn’t know I had. We deserve a book 4!!
this is so amazing,I can't wait for episode 2 🤩💖
15:11 dang. Zuko makes one decision you don’t agree with, and you’re already turning on him. At least Sokka’s sticking by him…. For now
SO AMAZING! A must-watch for any Avatar fan!
Reallyyyyyy great point and suggestion!
A
Sokka and Zuko VA did a great job. They sound perfect even the voice breaking.
Thank you! That’s Grant Corvin as Sokka and Cade Watts as Zuko.
Those two are so funny. Even IRL they act like those two haha!
How did I not know this existed!!
So well done.
I'm binging this now
Zuko was NAILED
Thank you! That’s Cade Watts as Zuko. He’s a huge Dante Basco fan so this will mean the world to him.
Things I learned
4. Women are really the voice of reason and the ATLA men really need ‘em 😂
But seriously I’m mindblown. This is an amazing project and the entire fandom thanks you 😭😭🙏🙏
wow, this project is amazing. I read the comics, but this is next level. you can be proud!
This is so good thank you
3:08 CAUGHT!!
This is very well done! I didn't expect this much quality from a UA-cam video
OH MY GOSH ITS LIKE HAVING NEW EPISODES OF AVATAR❤❤❤❤❤❤
The arguing is so good❤️
Thank you so much!
That’s Stephanie Pines as Katara and Grant Corvin as Sokka.
They really did sound like siblings here!
This is really awesome. The voice acting, the music, the transitions. You guys really turned this into a legit Avatar tv show :)
Netflix should have continued the series instead of the live action remake, this is 10 times better!
Having an official Book 4 would've been amazing!
I wouldn't trust Netflix with that 😅
@@emdove You're right, we can't trust Netflix with anything these days.
Im gonna pretend like toph didnt just some how knew where Appa was and launched up, AND HOW DID TOPH KNOW THEY FLEW OVER THE SCHOOL
I mean… Iykyk 🤪😆😏✨
She could probably hear them very well....?
@@kbye2321THEN HOW DID SHE KNOW WHERE TO LAUNCH
@@rafifakhrie8974 She could hear where they are... and decide where to launch based on that...
@@kbye2321 you know you need insane accuracy for that right?
HOW HAVE THEY NOT ANIMATED THIS YET
Ozai and Sokka VAs were on point!!!
Thank you very much!
That’s Grant Corvin as Sokka and Jakob Dillon as Ozai.
We’re super happy to have them too. I’ll pass on your kind words. I’m sure it’ll encourage them! 🤗
OMG THIS IS AMAZING! Great job of the voice actors and editors, thank you so much! Sending lots of love from Brazil!
This channel deserves all the support!
I knew that the ending of Book 3 was too good to be true just peace and love and all that. This goes a bit darker then i expected.
this is so good!!! thank you guys for doing this, almost feels like i’m watching the show for real! :)
I CANT BELIEVE I HAVE NEVER SEEN THIS OR THIS CHANNEL THIS IS SOOOO GOOODD TYSM ILY !!!!!!
So well done!
Sokka voice acting is on point
Thank you so much! That’s Grant Corvin as Sokka. He did the singing voice too!
Cant wait to binge watch these after i finish my avatar rewatch
Fantastic job to everyone involved! I’m about to binge these tonight.
This channel is amazing how this has not gotten more recognition is beyond me. From an another Avatar fan I absolutely love it here!
I love how Aang couldn't end Ozai because it "goes against the monks' teachings" but he was literally almost about to kill Zuko just because he tried to restrain his girlfriend. This goes to show that Aang is 100% simp
Frrrr😅
Aang gotta be the biggest simp ever bro.
Aang was about to kill him because of Roku.
I guess if this is as close as we ever get to s4, this'll scratch an itch. lol
Daaaaaamn... Sokka's actor is good.
Thank you!!! That’s Grant Corvin as Sokka. I swear he’s just Sokka IRL!
zuko really ruined the whole vibe while they were on appa like damn you couldn’t have waited until we landed 😭😭😭 but this is sooo good!!
Aang agreeing to anything just to shut him up before he kills the whole mood! 😭
Our boy not only has trauma, but is now in a position of governance. Meaning he is being hit with that trauma in the face every single day.
