Amouage Guidance - What's the Hype?! // Exploring the Amouage Escape Discovery Kit

Join me while I review the newest Escape discovery kit from Amouage.
I know everyone's been hearing a lot about Guidance, but if you also would love to hear about the other three in the kit, then this video is for you!
Also - oddly, the notes I pulled from both Fragrantica and Amouage's website (which is what I used for the visual note representations) were often a little different from the notes that came right out of the perfumer's mouths....not sure what that's about but just know the notes I am verbally reading to you are what the perfumer said the fragrances were composed of.

I loved the analogy of runway fashion compared to the artistry of Amouage! And yes I understand what it’s like to go to a place and feel like you are meant to be there and maybe you used to be from there in a past life! ..always happens to me when we go to California and I’m from all the way up here in Atlantic Canada Lol. But now we go out every year, it’s my happy place 😊 I’ve been enjoying my sample of Guidance and I’ve come a long way since the first video I sniffed it in, to my most recent sample update video! I even wore it to graduation this week and it did make me feel confident! 💗 Loved your review, very informative!

@@thatsmellsdivine We have been through Santa Cruz once when we drove from LA to San Francisco!! 😃 We come out pretty much every fall, usually in October, and we try to go different places- we’ve stayed in LA, Carpinteria, Oceanside, Newport Beach, San Diego, and other places but our favorite town is Carlsbad and we go back there often 🥰❤️ This year we’re staying in San Diego again, very close to the border, and then a couple nights in San Clemente. I just can’t explain how I feel when I’m there.. it’s like I feel like I’m really me and truly where I belong! 😊💞

I wanted to hear more about your thoughts on Guidance? In a little more detail? Have you worn it a lot? I have it and find it difficult to not spray to much due to the beast performance. The smells lingers for days at home after I’ve sprayed it.
I found Purpose too woody. The drydown got boring and agree that it is masculine.
Keep the videos coming? Very much enjoying listening to you and the wine comparisons are interesting even for a non-wine drinker.

I've only worn it twice...definitely need more time with it! It's such an intriguing fragrance!!
