Mud motors are awesome and the 4wd of the swamp. Just don't be like my friend.
He got a mud motor kit online and mounted a cheap offbrand motor to it. He decided to go out Sunday morning this past weekend hunting during the cold snap. I get a call roughly 6:45 in the morning that he cant get it to start, no one is around, and he is in an area about as thick as you are.... I was sick with a cold that morning and I obviously can't say no. I get out there two hours after he calls and drag him to the dock. Its about 27 degrees, I am bundled and just shivering feeling like crap. I am aggravated and just want to go home back to bed. I told him I don't care if its you or Jeremy (guy he is with). But I am going to warm up in the truck and one of you will back my truck, load the boat, drive me home, and store/unhook it at my house.
Neither argued 🤣. But I have been out of work all week. The boat trip made me 3 times worse. I thought it was a cold but doc says sinus infection. Got antibiotics Monday along with steroid shot and I am just getting back to feeling a sense of normal today.
My friend says man, I seriously owe you... But he would of done the same for me.
Dang, that’s crazy glad you guys are safe and hope you feel better! ! We’ve researched good motors to get and we’ve had that thought in our heads of getting stuck with a motor that won’t start. So far the predator has been a solid motor and hasn’t left us stranded. we’ve been going out less now that it’s freezing as well. Definitely need to be careful going out where other boats can’t make it, in case something does happen.

Yessir it is! It’s a lot of fun and we’ve been a lot of places boats can’t get. We got a new boat and are working on a restoration video on it 👍🏽

Atv winch comes in handy when going someplace new, never know what to expect

@@northernneckoutdoors3136 yea man, usually when I go up in flooded timber with mine, the motor is for push , the man in front steers, funny when you run him up in the weeds, got to trust your motor
