Happy Saturday! In today’s video, we’re already back at Hobby Lobby to fully focus on the fall 2023 selection. Sarah as a retired designer I love all the tips and ideas you give on your videos. You have some beautiful stems. I checked my storage room to see what I had and I am hoping not to purchase anything. Although the beautiful stems you showed is very tempting.haha. I can supply hobby lobby with pumpkins. 😂 Thank you again for explains how you use your decor. Thank you so much Jeanie! That’s so awesome you were a decorator! What was your favorite part of the job? I’m using a lot of the same this year myself with a couple of new additions. Supply hobby lobby with pumpkins 🤣👏🏻 I could definitely make my own floral section at this point 😅
My favorite part was seeing it come together and how happy the client was. Another thing I loved was being able to save my clients money by using some of the things they had in different ways. I still love to change things in my house from room to room and not spending money but having a room that looks like a new room.

I am living in Denmark and each time I see these videos from the us, with your hobby lobby options, I get so jelly!!! We have nothing like this in Denmark, but I vote that we need this sort of sortiment in a store like hobby lobby.. actually I vote that the ENtire Franchise Hobby Lobby starts stores in Denmark!!!
I'm in New Zealand and we don't have this either I could shop till I dropped

Sarah, I really enjoy your channel and seeing all of your ideas. I love your home tours and watch both the silent ones and the same ones with a voice over! Obviously, being in the UK I can’t access the same stores at you, but I certainly get inspired by your ideas and love to go hunting for similar treasures over here! I really appreciate your hard work and creativity - I understand that being a UA-cam content creator is not easy.
I am so ready for autumn - my favourite season!🍂 Bring on the pumpkins!! 🎃 A few years ago autumnal decor was really hard to come by in the UK - other than Halloween decorations…..now, wonderfully, this is improving every year and we have more and more to choose from. We are still way behind our American friends, but I hope that stores here will continue to improve their range of decor choices

I agree on re peat of items, and less new stuff! Great haul! My flowers went crazy n I had to trim mine back, I put some in a vase but I may cut later n dry them not sure, they get get messy, I got away from dried due to storage space and I am not buying much, glad I have what I have n have been hanging onto a lot of my stuff due to inflation n the prices but I have lots to change around over the years anyway! Thank you Susan! I agree, it’s so hard to store dried florals, no good way to keep them looking full and not getting broken. I’ll be using a lot of items I already had from years past but still incorporate some new ones. Getting the early fall inspo started this week! ☺️🍂👏🏻

Thank you for the tips about the blackberry stems, I got a bunch of them and needed some ideas of what other stems to include. You have a great eye for floral combinations. Loved seeing those brown hydrangea's and may be on the lookout!

Sarah, I Absolutely enjoyed the tour. I can't wait to see how you decorate with the florals. You are simply the best at creating floral arrangements. I really like the florals that look more natural, like you have just gone out and picked them from a field. Would you have any suggestions as to how we can perhaps make the stems look a bit more natural looking? Do you think by using a little paint that that might help? Thank you so much! Hobby lobby has some great dried florals to choose from! You could pick a dried baby’s breath! I haven’t tried painting stems before but I’ve seen other people do it so you could definitely give it a try! Have a great weekend!

Sarah, because of a couple of previous videos I traveled from Alabama to Concord North Carolina to the Gibson Mill depot. You were so right! It’s the greatest and largest antique mall in the south. I found lots of goodies! Thanks for the heads up!❤

Same as last year, and the last 5 years before that. I wish they try yellow plaids more. I like mustard yellow for the Fall.

The frosted glass pumpkin is gorgeous! I don't recall seeing it in-store but now I'll be on the hunt.

I love your style of decorating! I live in Texas and bc of the heat it can be hard to decorate too early but I love the idea of early fall /full on fall, helps me make the most of my favorite season 🍂🍁
Oh I totally understand! It’s still in the 90s here in NC but Fall and winter are my favorites so I always start early 👏🏻 Plus my Christmas tree is up November 1st 😅 I like to get content out early so people can plan !
I trim my hydrangeas after all of the flowers are finally gone. I dry them out and still have some from last year. I’m in California though. I cut them way back. They look like sticks and I always think they won’t come back, but they always do. Thanks for sharing your shopping time.

I am glad to see the same fall items returning. My Hobby Lobby runs out of those popular items. It took me 3 trips to get 5 matching cosmo floral.
It’s definitely going to be a popular item this year! Whenever they introduce a new item they don’t quite have the stock that other items do so I’m glad you were able to find some!
With hydrangeas some bloom on old wood and some on new and some even bloom on both. You’ll need to look up which yours bloom on 🙂

I really like hobby lobby. Yes.....they do alot of repetitive seasonal decor,but their vessels and florals are more affordable than many stores,and really nice. I pick and choose as you do but they have never let me down with any decorative items Im looking for. I think their ribbon,both velvet and satin chices are so very pretty. Kirklands the same. I have found a number of pottery barn dupes there also......for a fraction of the cost during their sale days. Looking forward to your fall decorating!

Sarah, I love that glass pumpkin. It does not look like glass. I went to HL 2 days ago to check out floral. I wanted some cosmos, baby's breath and pictures that look like sketches but mine had none. I did get some mauvish and goldish floral stems. Great video with explanations. Thank you.
It definitely doesn’t that’s why I made sure to mention, looks so unique I love it! Some stores are definitely rolling the new items out slower than others. My local one has all the Christmas garlands up already 😅

Awesome video. You explain everything so nicely, Sarah. I might have to grab those acorns, if they still have them. Im really going to try not buying items that I don’t need. I have 2 bins of fall, enough pumpkins for sure. I am looking for a couple of things to replace some items that are did not work for me last year. I have a Salvation Army box with some things. Just adding to that to donate.

Was into our local Hobby Lobby this week. Only purchased a couple of items. Transition ally to a darker cozier more traditional style. I do wish I had your store as the selection was a lot more extensive than mine. Interesting how store vary in their stock!

I definitely agree with you, so many repeats especially the signs and pumpkins. Same as Kirklands, how many years are they going to sell the monogrammed pumpkins? For your hydrangeas, cut off old blooms during the summer then yes leave it alone until you start seeing new growth in the spring. Then you will be sure you are cutting off dead wood above the buds that are coming from the old wood. Also put fertilizer down in spring 😊

Hi Sarah, I have to agree… I am not inclined to buy much new in the way of Fall this year. I have in the past 3 years purchased a lot for our new build so there’s that. 😊 Yet if I do find anything that really catches my eye, I will purchase it. Hobby Lobby in my opinion has been just putting the same stuff out year after year lately. It’s sad because they have really been killing it in other areas such as florals & vessels. 🤷🏻♀️ But hey, they are saving me money!
Oh that’s totally understandable! It takes a lot to furnish an entire house 😅 and totally agree, I love the new vase line they did. So many great choices, I wish they’d add just a little more to the seasonal lines. And same 😅👏🏻

This video was my absolute favorite so far. You really knocked it out of the park with your excellent selections and recommendations. I will be looking for those acorns before they’re gone! I have a question for you or anyone reading this…..how many areas do you put floral arrangements (large or small) around your house. I have open concept and worry about putting too many florals/greenery around.
Thank you so much Mary! I appreciate it! For floral placement, I like to have a full arrangement for my entry, have one on my coffee table, and maybe one smaller side table. I think a lot depends on what works in your space and the organic flow of it. I do one on my dining table and kitchen island as well. Also keep in mind how the arrangements tie into each other and look cohesive!

Did they have those Chinese lanterns this year? I did pick up the cosmos already….they only had 5 left of the lighter ones so I took them all. I can always return the ones I don’t use. I would assume they will get more but wasn’t taking any chances. I also picked up 4 of those bell picks from the Christmas section that sold out last year in July!
My Chinese lantern stems were from Joanns a few years ago but I came across these recently that look so similar from World Market! rstyle.me/+KYCVC4fG4wSRIlKwV6WX9A I use 2 or 3 in an arrangement depending on the size! I saw they brought back the bell picks, I loved those!
The wood leaves with the bark on them. What would you do with those. 5:30 time in the video
You could easily use them as a bowl filler! Often times too I’ll put one on a book or next to a vase to bring in some texture

yes, i hardly got any buds in my hydrangeas this year..and 90% of them were eaten by deer which has never happened before. not sure why there were hardly any buds. we had 2-3 late frosts. i covered them..but..???
We had that super random frost happen in February and it messed up so many plants. Hopefully next year will be better for them!
I can't seem to find those cute wooden spoons on their site..
