Happy Saturday! In today’s video, we’re heading out to Hobby Lobby, Michaels, and a couple other stores to check out their selection of Fall florals! I’ll also be sharing how I’ve styled the stems that I have myself so you can better see how they can be styled. Be sure to leave me a comment below with what your favorites are! 🍂

I really enjoy these types of videos, I’m always changing my formal arrangements and moving them around my home, and love adding new ones to my collection. I’ve bought some of the ones you’ve shown on your videos and they’re gorgeous and fit right in.
As for fall, I start off with neutrals in late August, outside florals are turning brown so I like bringing that into my home, it’s a good way to transition into the season. Later in September I bring out the oranges and golds and all my faux pumpkins I’ve collected over the years. It’s so nice coming home to the scent of a fall candle and seeing all the gorgeous colors of the seasons.
I’m on the hunt for more florals, they just make the home so cozy.

You couldn't be more right when you said "early shopping is the key to getting what you are looking for". Several of my favorite Hobby Lobby stems sold out online and in store weeks ago😞. Hoping they bring them back next year. Great video as always!

As always I love the way you present how to do your florals .my favorite are the magnolia ones with the pinecones. I like to decorate with the mustard and the browns and gold for fall.

I love everything you have done. You do have a good eye for the florals. A lovely home for sure. Love changing things from one room to another without buying more. They look so different each time. This year I'm doing more muted with a pop of orange. I like to switch it up, maybe next year I'll do all bright colors. Have a great day.❤ Deana

Something about those Blackberry stems that grabs my attention. My husband and I have been working on adding blackberry bushes to our garden area this weekend, so maybe that’s a sign😂. I love all the neutral leaf stems this year as well.

My favorite is the Japanese Maple stems from At Home. I saw them in your videos and finally picked up 7 of them just today. They match perfectly to my Japanese Maple tree in front of my house. Now I can have the look of fresh clipped stems from my tree without ruining my tree.
I really appreciate how you always put descriptions, links and similar alternatives to your videos. Can you also please include how many stems you use in your arrangements? Like you I tend to like the full arrangements🙂

Hi Sarah! New subscriber here. I agree with Floral being a great choice for high end florals. I add a few each year. I did get some of the plum ones you showed as well as the garland. So beautiful. And I just purchased the magnolia ones! Can't wait till they come! I do have the brown ones from Target a few years back and they are really very pretty too and have kept their shape well over the years. The dark blue thistle ones from HL were some that I have used with other stems this year and love the depth they add to any arrangement. I liked also the blackberry ones too. You've done some nice work with the arrangements you showed here. I love mixing and matching, but there are some florals that look good on their own like the Afloral ones and magnolia leaves. They truly make a statement with little effort! LOL

I love those magnolia stems… beautiful! I keep a very neutral décor palette… whites, creams and black. I like my main flower arrangement on my dining table to be the pop of color. Have a nice weekend and thank you for all you do!

Your ideas are so inspiring! I used the green leaf sprays in an arrangement with the blackberry stems, and I'm loving it! I also bought the last of the blue thistle stems my Hobby Lobby had in stock, and am loving them as well.

Happy decorating! I’m definitely keeping things on the neutral /muted tone side for now and when it’s nearly October I’ll pull out some more color, otherwise I get overwhelmed 😅

I really love the blackberry ones. I'm thinking about ModPodge'ing tissue paper onto the stems then painting them with acrylic paint for a more natural look. What are your thoughts about this? You may have done something similar in the past.

How do you store your stems etc to keep them looking nice when not showing them?
I store them in under bed plastic bins or cardboard boxes, I just make sure I don’t pack them to where they are getting squished so they still come

Hi Sarah! Thank you so much for your input regarding faux stems. I really appreciate it. I decorate in the neutral pallet. I love the blackberries ( but especially the ones from Aflorel). The dark plum leaves are also beautiful! Would you consider light blue hydrangeas mixed with greens still neutral? I'd like s little pop of color, but I don't like yellow, peach, pink, etc.? Thank you.
I love using blues and greens! Whatever works best for your space and what you’ll enjoy is the right option!

Hi Tks for all the ideas just what I was looking for. When shopping how many do you typically buy? How many does anyone usually put in a vase to look nice? Rough Number of Same ones and with an accent? Does that make sense? Sorry probably a silly question but Ive made so many mistake with not enough or too much of one. When I shop I think oh I like these but how many? then I put to much thought in it and put it all back. 😂🤯. This answer maybe someone already I’m sorry if it is. Love your ideas!
Thanks for watching! When shopping for florals, I try to envision where I would like to style them (entry vase, smaller coffee table, etc.) and from there how full or sparse is the stem. Generally speaking, I use anywhere from 5 to sometimes 10 of a stem for my entryway and my coffee table I can get away with 3 or 5 depending on how full the stem is. I do generally style in odd numbers even with my stems so a save bet is grabbing 5. I also believe I'm better off returning something than wanting it and not being able to find it 😂 If I'm styling an arrangement with a few different stems, I'll use 2 or 3 for a base and then 3 or 5 accent stems to compliment it. No silly questions here! I hope this was helpful, let me know if you need more clarification! 😊

To me magnolia stems with pine cones don't go together. I live in South. Magnolia and pine cones don't come from same tree. Just my southern thinking.
