The remote fob itself doesn't require a pincode to be programmed. The pincode is only required to program is a transponder key chip to allow the vehicle to start.
@funkychickenrox Hey buddy. Yes this will pull the 4digit pin code on a vectra. The remote is automatically programmed in at the same time as the immobiliser transponder chip. You should also be able to approach yiur local opel dealer with the Reg number/vin number and they can supply a new car pass. i pay €25 for these. Any good auto locksmith would then be able to program the car.
This is a great vid 👍🏻 well put together and interesting and saving you lots of money so basically if I had ignition problems I could get a ignition reader module ect with the matching key and plug it into the ignition and it would work what about the cars ecu wouldn’t that be a issue ?
