Opel / Vauxhall Immobilizer code read part 1

How to extract the pin code from a vauxhall / opel immobilizer unit using desolder tools and a eeprom reader. You can use this method if you lost the Car Pass. Once you have the code you can then program new keys and transponder chips. Save money.

Thanks for the video. Is there any product available for the GM Immobiliser-II unit shown that will connect to it to read the security code without having to tamper with the immobiliser? I have a second hand GM immobiliser like the one shown in your video that I want to use but I don't have the security code.

@funkychickenrox Hey buddy. Yes this will pull the 4digit pin code on a vectra. The remote is automatically programmed in at the same time as the immobiliser transponder chip. You should also be able to approach yiur local opel dealer with the Reg number/vin number and they can supply a new car pass. i pay €25 for these. Any good auto locksmith would then be able to program the car.

This is a great vid 👍🏻 well put together and interesting and saving you lots of money so basically if I had ignition problems I could get a ignition reader module ect with the matching key and plug it into the ignition and it would work what about the cars ecu wouldn’t that be a issue ?

The remote fob itself doesn't require a pincode to be programmed. The pincode is only required to program is a transponder key chip to allow the vehicle to start.
