Seems to be working Bill Maher (a comedy artist) just did one on about "collective narcissism." I guess he would be the "deviant" in this theory. Another example would be the writer George Orwell... Who's idea of "Collective Solopism" from 1984 DEFENITLEY changed cultural norms. And finally the most famous example... Socrates from ancient Greece definitely had a thing or two to say about "Collective Illusions." So much so his student Plato was able to win his freedom back after having been enslaved. He writes about it in a famous book called The Republic. In chapters 6 & 7. With Simile of the Sun, Analogy if the Divided Line and Allegory of the Cave.
Will this be affective in conditions of strong build social belief, like political propaganda, that is directly opposite to the new one?
