- Dazed, happy, emotional, triumphant - Remco Evenepoel was overwhelmed by a myriad of emotions the moment the crossed the finish line on the Quai des Ardennes, sealing the biggest victory of his career to date and giving Quick-Step Alpha Vinyl something huge to celebrate after enduring one of the toughest spring campaigns in the team’s history.

certainly a great victory m, but I find it limited shocking that nothing is said and that we can shout and sing while a teammate is at the worst in the hospital.. apart from the derogatory reflection on its positioning, not a word about julian... I fall from above.

Remco is a great talent. But I think he needs to be managed carefully. He has not (as yet) shown he is a grand tour winner , as he is in the classics. Time is on his side ...he needs to be given some !.
quick step cant keep on dominating the classik races ! they domminated it alreddy for almost 20 years. I remember there was a guy who won a race, and the whole peleton was happy it was a non quick step rider .... 😆

I think that at this moment they were still waiting for more news, though probably already had confirmation that he was in stable condition. Not to mention that everyone was happy with the victory, which might cause someone to forget that the crash also happened sometimes. It is also possible they cut out some parts here to focus on the happy part more than the sad part, we don't know.
