I have been a Chrysler / Dodge Fan my whole life. The discontinuation of the Hemi and switching to All EV, despite the many issues it has, especially in regards to performance in colder climates, charging times, and the overall ridiculous costs of these cars is sad,

@@trenton.tchannel1810 their hurricane lineup is their new hemi. They’re putting it on everything they consider to be ‘sporty’. I’m just interested how it will plan out in the long run. If it will have a decent amount of after market tuning support.

What I’m most excited about is the new Hurricane Turbo 6 that should appear in the new “Chargers/Challengers”, if they can make it fun and tunable then, this is my belief, will sell more and make more than current day
When you build an entire brand around monster engines big v8 sounds and excitement and then rip that carpet from under your consumer and say now here's an EV just isn't a good look fellas. You guys better have something in the pipes because you're going to need something impressive to win over the majority of your loyal fans.
Nothing can win over those stubborn asses. They’re trying to create a new definition of muscle in the electric era, and tbh, what they did with the Charger EV is really smart, but no one saw it that way because it’s an EV, and apparently an EV is always terrible and can never be good at anything (which is bullshit, but still). At least give them props for trying
how long will it take mfs like you to figure out that this change is not voluntary? they legally need to switch asap to ensure the long term survival of dodge. yea, of course they could make v8s for a few more years but then it will be much harder to enter the EV market, which they will need todo inevitably

I'm a huge fan of the hemi v8 dodge Era that we have had from 2004 until now. However I'm definitely looking forward to what is coming with the hurricane engines!
We are lest then half way to 2024. Dodge hasn’t really revealed any other car or really nothing about the banshee so just like what they did releasing the Hellcat in 2014-2015 there definitely something coming out but we’ll have to wait till August or maybe later.

Bro those V8 powered Charger’s & Challenger’s sell more compared to when they will start sell their cars EV. They should have started the EV market with in the Chrysler brand as that brand is struggling to compete. Also Dodge is way too early for this transition as a succeeding brand. They should has waiting just a bit longer! Other then that Dodge will still be my #1 favorite car brand ! All love ❤️

@@RSJerelle_ amen. Besides, we have to appreciate the fact that Dodge is at least trying to recapture in EVs what made ICEs so special. Even if it’s not the same, they’re at least trying, and to me at least, that means the world. It means they do care about us, and they still want cars to be fun in the future, even if those cars are EVs

Yeah... these commercials are not cool at all, since this EV bullshit came into the picture. Put your balls back in and keep on building your three muscle monsters. Everybody is laughing about this decision. Even here in Germany...we love Dodge the way it is right now. Never change a running system.

This really feels like a desperate marketing ploy. Dodge is killing off the cars they are trying to promote in this little video series. Why advertise a vehicle that is about to be discontinued and most that are still yet to be built are already spoken for? Dodge knows they are in trouble in 2024 and you can feel the desperation in the video. In 2024 most mopar muscle car guys looking for something new will have no choice but to look at the Mustang and Corvette. Maybe the Camaro at the beginning of the year too. All i hear at car shows when people are around the new Challengers and Chargers is how betrayed the owners feel and that they will either keep their car as long as possible or look elsewhere. It's not all doom and gloom though. There are rumors that the new Charger EV is capable of being fitted with a gas engine so a Hemi hybrid similar to the Corvette Eray is a possibility. It's also possible they will just give in out of desperation and develop a smaller more efficient V8 to go in a much smaller coupe. Like a Pontiac Solstice size 2 seat coupe. Even a small V8 with less than 400HP in a car that light weight with launch control and dual clutch auto would be fast, different, but acceptable to the mopar community. There are rumors the challenger is coming back but not as a traditional muscle car. So, that might be the direction they will go to save the brand. Time will tell.
