I never believed he turned mas to profit. What he did was to liquified assets belonging to mas, which then reduced the amount of losses to become profit. If he was really good, he should continue to steer MAS to greater heights. He knew the future of MAS was not going to be bright, so he quickly begged Najib to create somthing to save him. Najib created Pemandu, an official think tank advisory team to PM. MAS was let to bleed in losses again not long after. Idris Jala knew this.😂
MAS staffs cannot be touch without a political outburst, so the airline is left to rot. That's why the foreigners brought in to turn around MAS left out of frustration.
I am from Sarawak. TS Idris is definitely not an ordinary la kia. If he had a free hand to transform MAS, MAS would be the 6th largest airline in the world together with Quantas. Follow his podcast to understand the constraints he had with transforming MAS. It is Sarawakians wish that with God willing, he be the Premier of Sarawak one day.
