- This is a video showcasing a huge North African Front Italian Army for World War II in 1/72 scale project of my good friend and kampfgruppe kamerad, Gio, who paid me a visit to play a game after a near 10 month hiatus of all face-to-face nerdsturmgung.lol. It’s a massive force with all kinds of fantastic options ready to throw down on the march to the Suez Canal. Manufacturers are mostly Italeri, Esci and Airfix with some smaller wargame specific companies’ products as well. Forza!
Very impressive. A relatively rare subject for WW2. This chap really needs his own channel.
Yes he does. But he's a bit pressed for time and space at the moment, but he's definitely thinking about it.
Please get your friend to send vids of his progress on his British and Germans as he progresses.
I would like to see those too.
Thanks. I'll pass the message along.
A fantastic collection of figures and vehicles
Fabulous to see another hobbyist’s addiction!
When he was taking it out of the boxes, it was never ending. lol
Outstanding army. Very well done Sir.😊
I will pass the compliment along to my friend, and on his behalf thank you for the kind words.
Wonderful army!! I like the Italians in WWII. Amazing work
That's a amazing looking Italian army for games
That's quite the collection
A very nice collection not often seen thanks for posting James . Regards Gav.
Your friend has a great collection. Must have been fun to play with. 🙂
Wonderful army. Lots of variety too. Commandeering of enemy vehicles was normal in the desert campaign. Thanks for sharing
Bill
Bellissima!! A wonderful collection of vehicles, love the sand bags, nice touch!
Lovely army with great character, i like sahariana, that mountain troop officer, the tanks, the italian variant of the 88, and the attacker plane. Great effort on this army. Glad you show it.
Thanks. I'll pass the message along.
Thats a beautiful looking army
Thats a gorgeous looking army. Your mate should be proud. Love how you make the African campaign sound like a swapmeet lol.
Amazing looking army!
Wow! Cool, very impressive!
Very impressive
Great video, it’s nice to see fellow wargamers collections and listening to their journey in how they built them 👍
...even if I said 'OK' 4,000 times. lol
@@jvcpaints 😂 mate it doesn’t bother me as we do something like that and it shows your passion 👍
Fantastic looking army
It's been my buddy's passion for quite a long time. He's working on the 8th Army now.
Brilliant video this is a great army really enjoyed the chat, all the best Garry
Wow!! I really enjoyed this!! the passion that went into it from Gio- fantastic effort. ive watched it about 5 times now just to hear the tidbits of info regarding the units too. Gio please come on again and show us your Germans and British when you are done! Kind Regards, Dan
I'll pass the regards along, Dan. He's working on the British at the moment. We've got a battle report coming up and he'll be back at Snake Mountain (the 'official name' of my HQ -lol) for another before New Year.
@@jvcpaints nice! every gamer needs a named Lair!
Really beautiful stuff your friend has there James. Btw appreciate the recent comment on my video. Oddly enough I get the alert but it didn’t show up on the video or the held for review section so no idea why I could t respond lol... cheers
That's odd. It was about the Shaggoth. I'll zip back over and post it again.
Nice to finally see my brother's army all together. If you have stills can you please send them over to me for our blog?
Thanks
I passed the photos on to him. I'm going to add a link to your blog.
Great looking army. Lots of hard work. Your friend needs to start a UA-cam channel.
I think so too!
Amazing army. I have a thing for desert war Italians. I love the fighter great camo.
Believe it or not, I think he used decals for that camo!
@@jvcpaints even if they were decals they must have been a pain in the butt to apply. I could not come across any Italian aircraft models when I was doing my Italians.
