More healing effect would go a long way on your Elowyn tbf. You've gone mainly for attack speed but her heals won't be too big, and her HP is really low. Also worth noting the forest spirit she places and her ult aren't affected by attack speed at all.
I run 1 healing effect, 1 attack bonus and 1 hp bonus main on her. 39k HP, 17k attack, 1.9 attack interval and 138 healing effect. Only thing I'm looking to improve is more attack speed rolls.
agreed. I started the game with Laya and my healers even get a huge bp boost when I equip a heal effect piece. I had missions I was dying on until I boosted healing effect on my healers and even gave heal effect on some of my fighters gear. heal effect works best on atk based healers than hp based healers. Ash kinda got some of this info very wrong here this time around.

That elowyn atk is low. She can easily push 20k and up on her atk, healing effect has diminishing returns. You'll get equally effective heals at 138 and 70.
@@Mr_Mcfeely Pure cap on the healing effect lol. Yeah it has diminishing returns, but 138 to 70 is still a noticeable jump. Would she heal more if the healing effect main was swapped like for like with attack bonus? Maybe, but that piece of gear is the best piece on her so not gonna happen. Also she heals more than enough for all content in her current build so what would be the point of pushing attack? Just for show?
My Elowyn team in Guild Wars is currently 15-1, so clearly the build is just fine.

I've thought this over, and I think it is a good video, but it lacks one important nuance; it is possible to Overheal. If you give a 30k heal to a Marksman with 20k max health, you have Overhealed by 10k. There is a practical limit of how big a single healing instance needs to be that is defined by the maximum HP in your target group. There's no penalties for Overhealing, but Overhealing is both waste and opportunity cost, so when you are looking to optimize, it may be better to spend gear substats or even primary stats on things other than the size-of-heal.
Because of that, I have differentiated my healers between Tank-minders and DPS-minders. My thiccest tank is 120k hp, while most of my DPS are in the 25-30k hp range. If a DPS-minder can hit 30k healing with a single piece of jewelry, other jewelry pieces can be spent on things like speed, rage-regen, or health. Tank-minders are still trying to maximize healing (especially the portion of the heal based on target HP), and may also need a little extra HP themselves if they are going to be in range of AOEs. DPS-minders only need a tad more HP than the DPS they are healing (or they are a hp-based healer).
Or if they are DEF based healers (and defenders) like Meriel XD
I'd really like to see defense based healers to make good use of a wider variety of sets. What do you think?

What about the quick equip button? Does it actually give you what's best for that hero or is it bad?
I'm curious, does AoE gear (Styx) work on someone like Aylin? She heals everyone in range and is attacked based... would Styx be useful on her?
I do pile up my healers with healing and speed. Does well for the previous immortal codex (top 3-4% - in line with the other codex) and my troops don't seem to die easily (not sure if it's better than average or not). Would you know why? as it seems to suggest that healing power would be lacking.

Nice vid. Game always tries going max healing effect for my healers on auto equip which I use partially but to much healing effect mainstat and even substat crap.
good warlord gear is hard enough to come by for me to waste it on a healer. hell calamity gear is too hard to come by. I'll use whilrwind, sure but I reserve DPS sets for DPS and I still don't have enough
Why don't you figure this out... without substates upgraded like most people

Honestly amulet should be atk speed on main unless you can get near gold wtih atk speed on substats for all 5 pieces. the heal interval is so damm important

For some reason all the top players on the revive the statues healing event has ATK healer Nissandei in HP gear, I don't know why, likely to survive or something. I will say, I just spent hours working on gear raid 1-20, and the key was switching a +healing main stat to ATK% as I was over 100 healing boost so it was worth less and my champs are too squishy.
Top players move their gear and artifacts around a lot based on the specifics of challenges like Tide or Guild War Offense (maximize BP), Guild Wars Defense (maximize effectiveness against enemy demon soldiers' BP-optimized stats), or Immortal Codex (maximize around a specific mechanic). They may also make gearing decisions that differentiate two similar heroes from each other, or put together a set that they think is funny for whatever reason. It's always a good idea to ask why someone is geared a specific way, instead of just copying blindly.
Some way into it, the problem became survivability instead of healing output. They can't heal if they're dead 😵

You should really aim for 80-100 healing effect for best return on both atk based and hp healers
It generally goes main stat> 80-100 healing effect>atk speed>rage regen
There is a diminished return on attack speed and healing effect, so you always want to have at least 80-100 healing effect through your subs before stacking as much speed as you can

Thanks for this Ash. I would like you to also do this for the other groups of heroes (Attackers, Defenders, Magicians, Marksmen). I am particularly interested in different types of sets for different groups of heroes.

There are breakpoints in this game, so if adding 100 attack speed doesn't change the listed attack interval, that's when you go for another stat.

No. Crit rate/dmg doesn't do anything for healing b/c they can't crit. So you can just ignore it

So Invigoration and Inspiration stack? Does that mean Invigoration stacks with another Invigoration?
You can only put one invigoration buff on a hero. And Inspiration as well, but you can use Constance and Dolores and just alternate their ultimates for pretty much 100% inspiration up time.
@Binzob ah. Makes sense, then id rather put Invigoration on Laurel than Delores. Seems better to me.
@@lamarh2891 I run it on both. Thing to note is it increases Dolores attack by 10% as well which makes her Inspiration buff more powerful. And having it on Laurel, Elowyn or other healers means you can put the buff on multiple damage dealers.
In Guild Boss I have it on Dolores, Elowyn, Wrath and Volka. Allowing Zilitu, Setram, Arrogance and Valeriya to get a 10% attack boost.

Hey Ash.. Some healers get a huge BP boost from healing effect also which is good for tide boosting. Healing effect on a healer and then heal effect on the hero being healed also makes a major heal happen.
Also atk based healers do better with heal effect than hp based healers.
Hp based healers heal heros based on their hp and the healers hp. so they basically have heal effect built in already.
atk based go off atk. so heal effect is for atk based and def based healers.
Elowyn ult is not effected by atk spd, heal effect works good on her. I'm a laya main. Heal effect very high + a lot of atk spd and atk% and rage regen on her goes a long way. Everyone uses my Laya for nm4 😂

I like my healers to be THICC .. I mean the heals.. not the healers thighs and other features like boobas and cheeks.. obviously.. 👀👀👀👀 tbf thicc thighs save lives so naturally healers in this game all should really continue to appear that way.. 😂

My understanding is heals don't crit.
Are you sure HP based is based on healers HP and not targets HP?
Me too Im kinda confused about it. My vortex has high hp & atkspd but still when he heals for what i observe it depends on the target's hp.
